a nanner growing like that will most likely give you more hermies. if it was in the flower itself the genetics are more stable and give you a better chance for fem seeds.
I have only read about this so no first hand testimonial just observation
 
Yep, I've read about it as well and questions some folks who are doing fem seed breeding. Don.Paul uses the nanners that for within the buds late in bloom, no hermies so far, all fems. That said, using pollen from "balls" (distinct male sex organs/flowers on a plant expressing female flowers at another node) pretty much guarantees higher percentage of hermies, but also a higher likelyhood of a plant going hermie when stressed. Also, your male to female ratio is higher from hermies as well quite often... ick.

Sorry, been pickin at breeders and reading all the cannabis related breeding data because that interests me a lot, lol.
 
I think that why when I order the strain I wish to always keep on hand, I plan to order Regular beans so I can have a few males that I will place outside and collect some pollen. Being Bubble Gum I want to keep most of the strain " Pure "... but that doesn't mean I can't experiment right. I just seem to hear of a lot of hermies with some of the auto's and the changing genetics. I'm lazy and want to make my grow as easy as possible. Just my opinion. :high-five:

Ok, two things.
1) the deed is done. Snip snip. :)
2) Who ever had the brilliant idea to do a 1" high ghetto scrog is dumb. I literally just dropped 15 F-bombs trying to get to that F-ing thing. :straightface:

Blue is getting big. Her leaves are so much fatter than the NLxBB its crazy. Im glad i raisd the lights on her tho. She already has some decent spacing at nodes compared tothe other. I feel like I can work with that. :)
 
hahaha 1" well i could say something naughty but im not um you could try get a pen or something to aid pull it down or if you got access to some thing cooking prong things that you pick things on the grill up with haha there are many possibilities of long thin objects that could aid with you getting under there for some play time.
