Spart's Ongoing Terrace Autos

Thanks I think she has another month or so right now she's 5 1/2 weeks so she should be starting to fatten up. Probably gonna be 30g on her. Oh and my cheese is doing fine growing normally next week she'll be getting 1/5ml of bio grow til I see the start of flowers then I'll start with 1/2ml of bio bloom and keep the grow going til it's flush pretty much I'm going to follow the companies schedule for a normal plant but I'm gonna go go up by 1/2ml instead of the 1ml it says for normal photo plants. Hopefully by the end of summer I should be starting indoors. I'm gonna take LA's advice and get a 600w build in the cool tube and my tent should be 80x80160. My first run will be a tent of 9 grass-o-matic autos (3x3 in autopots) to get any kinks out and get use to growing in it then I'll do 4 plants from philosophers seeds.

Yup that pretty much sums up the whole plant is like that. Can anyone id this little creepy crawler I'm thinking it's a fungus gnat larve it's a fast little bastard as well I killed the little bugger but if there's one there's probably more. It was on my little cheesy autoflower

I dunno this little thing was fast as anything else. Not sure how to go about determining what it was it's the second one I've seen today or the same one as the first one got away from me.

So i did some digging literally and found a small black and red beetle looking kinda thing sorry about the picture I only have my phone to take pictures.

It's 90% outside only inside at night i don't think its a aphid or a gnat the white thing i seen was fast like proper fast. It might be a un related all together to the little bettle thing hmmmmmm

Ive got a bio aphid spray I'll try to dilute it a bit more then normally and water the little girl with that oh the joys of growing in a uncontrolled environment ^_^

I think the white/clear thing was a random thrip because I haven't seen another and the little beetle was just that a little beetle. Haven't seen anything else and I went digging proper last night even took the little seedling and checked around the roots I'm just being over paranoid again :loopy:

Got some crazy winds here today (120km/h) so the plants are chilling infront of the window. Tomorrow the red poison in starting with 2ml of bio bloom and 3ml of top max. One more boosting up to 3ml bloom and 4ml topmax next week then I'll start to taper down til she's back on just water hope my timeline is right either way she's looking proper tasty and fattening up noticeably quicker the last week.

Not that i can see and I've been proper paranoid lately been checking every few hours. Switched my mind as well she's gonna get 3ml of bloom and 3ml of top max. She's on week 6 today so even if she does show a bit of burn it should be fine it's just for a week anyways before i drop it down to 2ml of bloom again and up the top max to 4ml for another two weeks before i start flushing. The cheesy is doing fine I'm going to wait til starting of third node before starting her on nutes maybe starting of week 3 and she'll get 1ml of fish mix for the rest of her life along with the building up of bloom and top max. I've never used the all mix soil so I'll have to keep an eye on her

I found something interesting today on another forum and thought it was worth a share and get some thoughts on it.

LIFECYCLE OF AN AUTO

A common question I see is when to switch autos from veg to bloom. Many people are under the impression that as soon as they see the first flowers it's time to switch. Perhaps a little explanation of the life cycle of autos will help to clarify this.

Weeks 1 - 3. Once you've started your seeds and they break the surface of the soil, they are in their seedling stage. The first set of leaves to appear will usually single fingered, followed by a second set that may still be single fingered or perhaps 3 fingered. Once that second set appears growth will start to accelerate as the new leaves provide more photosynthesis. This process will continue, more new leaves, faster growth. Depending on the type of soil in use, mild vegetative nutes can be introduced at week 2. By week 3 most plants will start to show their sex. Males will start to produce pollen sacks and females will display pistils.-

Weeks 4 - 6. The plants are now entering a pre flowering stage. During this time the plants should exhibit explosive growth, often as much as a new set of nodes and 1" vertical growth a day. This is the time when they will gain most of their vertical height. Many people make the mistake of switching from vegetative to flowering nutrients at this point, assuming that since they see flowers it must be the proper time. This is incorrect. If the switch to flowering nutes is made at this time the vertical growth will stop and the plant will put it's energy into producing buds. If you need to keep your plants small, or want them to finish earlier, they by all means switch nutes at this point. But if you want to get the most out of your plants continue feeding vegetative nutes until you see the vertical growth slow and stop. Depending on the strain that will usually be sometime during week 5 or 6.-

Weeks 7 - 9. By now vertical growth has stopped and the switch to flowering nutrients has been made. The buds will start to fill out and put on weight, becoming hard and tight. Pistols will start to change from white to brown, orange, red, etc. By now the plants will also have developed a strong smell. Toward the end of this phase the large primary and smaller secondary fan leaves will begin to turn yellow. This is an indication that the plant is moving toward the end of it's life.

Weeks 10 - 11. At this time flowering nutes should be discontinued and only plain pHed water fed to flush the remaining nutrients from the soil and improve the taste. Yellowing of the fan leaves will continue as the plant draws the stored energy from them. Eventually they will die and fall off. By the time that the smaller leaves that come from out of the buds will also start to turn yellow. Then it's time to harvest.-

I know that many of you are thinking that the seed bank said the plants will finish in 8-9 weeks, so why are you saying they take 10-11? The claims made by the seed banks are somewhat deceptive. If you switch to flowering nutes at week 3 or 4 the plants can finish in the times the seed banks say but they will remain small and not reach their full potential yield. Years of growing by myself and others has shown that autos do best if you follow this time line.

Of course, there will always be variations depending on the strain, the environment, nutrients, etc. This information is meant to only serve as a general guideline.

So if anyone has any ideas on this I'm all ears if not I'm gonna follow this guide for my next cheesy autoflower

They to show flower nuts at all on there but I started bloom and tiger bloom at week 4 and it did not stunt my growth at all I cant see changing what I did my colas are bigger then almost every auto I see on here and its my first time I have northern lights autoflower starting now as well and cant see changeing anything I really think im gunna average 2oz per plant as long I dont mess them up I see what people get 1oz from and mine are more the double

I dunno I'm gonna give it a try why not right if i notice any burn I'll back it down. So starting today the cheese is gonna get 1ml/l of fish mix since it's the start of week two and the second node is already coming in and soon the third will be there. Can't see myself personally going higher then 1ml because I'm using light mix and all mix.
