Spart's Ongoing Terrace Autos

10l is large enough for an auto outdoors even my big ones had more then enough room. Indoors it depends one what light cycle you put it on the more light the more room it should need to expand the roots as it grows bigger.
How many days is she? Is she outdoor or indoor?
She looks great for 5 days old. Is that a Budha Magnum or some other magnum BM is a great super auto - she'll yield very well if you treat her right, I also liked the smoke off her.

Good luck Mr C! :thumb:
I've prepared so many pots, 200ml, 1L, 2L, 10L, 15L,30L...... I havenot decide which one shall I use. Sorry for the 2 missing, it is 2 days old. I did something really wrong to it. The following is the reason that I am worrying about it. It was put to the seeding soil directly after it germinated by tissue. 3 days after that it still didnt break out from the soil, so I went to a local gardener shop to ask for assistant(of course I didn't tell them I am growing weed). They told me that maybe the soil is too rich and stunning the growing then asked me to dig it out 1st, flush with clean water and then sown it to the 1:1 seeding soil and coil power mixture. Once I digged it out Iound that it was compeletly the same size as it germinated. I was sure that it was stunned at that time. It broke out 12 hours after and start growing. Today is the 2nd day after it broke out form soil. I put it outdoor during daytime and take it back to the house at night.

And, Bapple, yea~it is a Buhda Magnum. I also heared some good and bad things about this strain. The good thing is if you grow it well, It will end up with a monster like this:
The bad thing is, this stain is easy to grow, however not easy to grow well. This is my 1st time grow.

That is a good looking girl for 2 days - good colours, and that stem is healthy and vibrant. Don't love her to death, like children, plants can tell when you are anxious :battingeyelashes::battingeyelashes:

I was very inexperienced when I grew my BM last year, but she was easy and grew big, not as big as the girl in your picture but not much smaller. She started to mould at approximately 96 days and I pulled her early, but I grow outdoors and there was a lot of rain here last October.

I think you're doing a great job relax......:thumb:

yeah there's no way in telling anything probably the first two weeks of the plants there's way to variables in play still.... Oh and on trippy with her new home i barried most of the stretch i had from the first three 90% cloudy days.

I know what my experiment is going to be with the next auto I'm gonna use a deeper pot rather then more soil and see if that effects the growth in any way the pot I'll use is a round pot diameter 16.5cm depth is 22.5cm so it's about as deep as my 10l pot but actually like half of the soil quick guess is it will grow more Christmas tree like and less bush like or it'll end up root bound and die

Trippys looking good you would never know how she started off now haha
Good Idea with your pots too, I did read something somewhere and people were talking about how they grow in certain pots cantvreally remember but think the wider shallower pots make them more bushy and shorter deeper pots get the Xmas tree happening but there's a lot inbetween that I guess haha

Finally got back from the store got me a 60-100x microscope no camera on it but it works, and the stimulation pack from biobizz. Tomorrow trippy will be getting 1ml root juice and 1ml alg-a-mic. And the other grass-o-matic has started to bulk up nicely. Starting tomorrow she'll be getting an extra 2ml of alg-a-mic along with the normal nutes.

Yeah that plant looks awesome, would love if mine would turn out like that haha
She should be good~~I can see you did many training on her.

thx Bapple. It sounds great that you had a big big reward of your magnum. Did you grow 12/12 or auto? I am growing out door aswell, aways rainy these days.

Hey Chen!

Grew her from July to October if memory serves me well, I don't keep photos and was not on this forum yet. She was outdoors all the time so got whatever sunlight there was during that period. Buddha Magnum is an Auto, I don't think she comes any other way. Hope it stops raining where you are as soon as she starts to flower. The rain does not harm them in veg.

Hope to see your own journal soon.

starting tomorrow trippy will be getting 2ml/liter of root juice and the other auto will be getting 2ml/liter of fishmix, 5ml/liter bloom, 4ml topmax, and 2ml/liter alg-a-mic. I found a huge patch of butter fly eggs on the one underside of the leaf so i just cut the one blade off.

Question here and a little off topic: Bapple what nutes do you use for your peppers? I am gonna do a pot transfer and was wondering also if you water with root juice for a week or just let em go on there own. I was thinking of feeding em every other week with about 2ml/l of fish mix over the winter. I got 2 habaneros that are done for the year.

Bonjour Spart! :ciao:

My Habaneros and Scotch Bonnets get watered with Plagron Power Roots when they are first potted up from the propagators and over the first month in pots once a week. They are then switched to a seaweed based tomato Nute that I buy from the UK. They only get fish mix from time to time when my 420 girls are still small cos sometimes there's left over and I pour them into my chillies.

I am a little confused about whether you are saying you plan to feed an overwintering chilli (don't do it).....?!?' Also you say the Habaneros are finished for this year.... How come? Where you are you should be harvesting up till November.....

nah I'm saying that I wanted to keep my pepper plants over winter and was wondering what you feed yours over winter mine dont have any flowers anymore. This is my first year doing em tho.

Hey Spart!

Feeding overwintering plants is usually the kiss of death for them. The plant is usually in suspended animation, in conditions like ours where there is no frost or snow but it's cold, wet and humid in winter time. A plant that is not growing has no business being fed...the combination of the conditions I mentioned above and a much reduced rate of transpiration make it very difficult for the roots to cope with nutes and cold. Would be a bit like feeding solid food to someone in a coma.....

Also I would not change their pots at this stage. If they are still vibrant, I would feed some tomato nutes and see whether you get a second flush of flowers it's not too late at all...
