It's part of the picture. I run a lot of REG seeds. Sometimes I get more FEMs and sometimes I get more MALES.

My last run of seeds - prolly the same timing or very close to what you did and I had a majority of males. Think back when you sprouted.

There was some weird full moon in Feb19.

Just thinking out loud and puffing hash from my last trim sesh. So everything is possible. Not sure how I can type?

Save a male for the girls. Set him in the flower room. It gets the female hormones going full on. I think it even works on my wife, lol.

Then toss when his sacs are expanding. I do this.

Girls get mad, I get out the loppers. All problems solved.

Clones keep the fire alive.

Thanks Penny. The canopy looks good now. The older stuff down low that was growing out a few weeks ago was ugly and never really recovered at up-pot. Ended up stripping alot of the bottom stuff anyways. A lolipop under the skirt clean up, if you will. It wasnt getting much light down there while i had all them plants crammed in there together. Never enough room. And always pushing the limits of the tent space that i do have.

I have 3-4 clones of everything that is and that was in tent. Male plants from seed have been executed in front of the remaining females. "This is what happens when you try to sprout balls on my watch!" Lol! My wife says i have issues. (:

Man, that's some real shit right there. I swear that I've been left with evey one of the fugliest friggin plants that were in the tent. Platinum Silks all had the most branches from jump street, and they were all (3 of 3) males. Burnt Toast- 1 of 2 is female. She is more tall and lanky. Looks like "Cookies" leaner maybe? Burnt Toast= Berner's Cookies × French Toast.
Time will tell with her. The Jellybreathe bx1 #3 was the only female out of 4 seeds popped. Was definitely not my first pick, or my second, for that matter. But she still may turn out to be good. I'll be running the cuttings off her with my next run of feminized seeds. But the clones will be veg'd and trained in bigger pots this next time around because we'll already know how much stretch to expect by then. And last but not least, Royale w/ Cheese, 2 of 2 females and both very similar in size and structure. And i swear they're already getting fraģrant as heck! I'm do for something loud, and stinky in my tent!

That's a lot of Males. Your Girls will fill out the tent. I'm sure they appreciate all the extra room :thumb: They all have a nice dense structure.

I think they could and would do better now with the more room and space they've gotten but i wish they were in bigger pots now. 2 gallon pots on all 4 plants probably not going to yield too great. The only reason i stayed with #2's instead of 3-5 gallons is because i thought id get at least 6-9 females out of 15 regular seeds. Didn't work out that way. Good thing for clones! (:
And, i still have plenty of seed.

Well tht sux about all the males atleast u got some gems out the batch an hopefully they end up some gems an u get something really nice come harvest. An yea a bunch of males can suck but what ya guna do growers problems eh lol. Well either way congrats on the girls u did get. Since u got so many males are u planing on doing any breeding/crossing or seed making? I think the jellybreath crossed with the royal w/cheese wud be an interesting mix u could call it royal jellycheese or sumthn :rofl: I've been seeing alot of the jellybreath/jellybean strains popping up every where it seems lol. Must be sumthn good if a bunch of people keep growing it. If you dnt mind me asking where did u get those seeds from or who was the breeder. I think I mite try some jelly cross of some kind for one of the new strains I do on my next highbrix run.

The Jelly Breathe was bred by "InHouse Genetics" It's a cross of Dosi-Dos x Mendobreathe. I had a DosiDos cut that i only had for a quick minute and lost it. It was some great smoke. And by the time i figured out who the breeder was (Archive) i tried to get beans but they were long sold out. So i started looking for crosses. Found one called Slurricane-Dosi-Dos x Purple Punch, also by InHouse Genetics. And then JellyBreathe bx1, and some others. So here we are. Will be popping "Slurricane" next!

Oh yeah I've seen @bobrown14 Run the slurricane i believe altho it might have been a different ihg strain. But man do there strains look nice. Another grower @Mr. Krip is doing a great run with ihg strains right now using docs kit N my dam they are beautiful lol. But yea man good luck with ur slurricanes u got.
