3-4-19- Monday


So, yeah its been awhile, as the song says...
My missus has been ill and then i got the flu real bad. And i smoke flower. Hard to medicate when you can hardly breathe between coughing fits, and hacking up big green globs of mucus the size of egg yolks. Then you gotta spit it somewheres...
Anywho...per my usual routine i went and neglacted my girls again. Just barely up-potted them last Sunday, so a week ago, and they are only now starting to green up again, and starting to fight back the purpling of the stems now that she's got some fresh soil, and more room for roots, and branches, under more light.
We're down to 9 plants left. 2 of the 3 Platinum Silk still confirmed boys and pulled out, not up-potted, but still haven't given them the axe neither. Still debating on flowering one out for some pollen collection, and some possible crosses (personal only). But we'll just have to wait and see what happens with that.

Jellybreathe bx1 #3-4 are female! And Royale w/cheese #2 is female.
Everything else is still a question mark. But will be flipping to 12/12 light schedule towards the end of the week or weekend.
Sorry to all you for lagging ...but im sure that you all also know how it is when life and the people we love all try to compete for the same 24 hour period of a day that we also would like to be spending with our plants, and gardens.

Oh yeah, there are some fugly leaves, its ok. I fuck up sometimes. Im human, and definitely not perfect. I was mixing batches of RO water with aloe flakes, and URB (free sample) for my fliwer girls that had just come down because, well, because they needed it. They were in a 3-4 run coot style living soil that had not been re-amended so it benefited from the extra amounts of humic acids, and microbes. Where i screwed the pooch is, i was getting lazy (nah...who me?) and instead of mixing new for my veg girls, i fed them all the same. Veg girls didn't need it, and for damn sho didn't want it! But big stubborn sumbiatch that i am, i gave it to them anyways. Too strong, too frequently. Hence, the few not so happy plants.
So now that we've established that...i want to mention that im going to be opening up another tent and light to run side by side with this one, wich is the 39"×39" from Marshydro, a sponsor here. But i will be adding either a 4'×4', or i seen a 4' 7"× 4' 7", wich would be cool for me. Light is approx. 48" square. Mix spectrum of 5000 kelvin, 3000 kelvin, and i think some 660nm. For a total of about 500 watts. Not a sponsor, or anything like that, so thats basically all I'll be saying about the light for now.

Also would like to add that, "sometimes we get by with a little help from our friends..." stay humble, and think positive. ✌

I dont have kil-o-watt meter or anything. The boards i got came from Timber Grow Lights and had built in adjusters. I run 'em anywhere from 75-100 percent for flower.

Ok brother one page down 4 more 2go lol. But yea my dude those genetics sound amaze balls. I've been wanting to try out some of in house genetics gear for awhile now. Maybe that's what I'll do is get some of there beans for my next seed purchase. Since my bottle I had my cbd seeds sitting in popped open an they spilled all over idk what's what an now need to get some more cbd beans since I only got one of them going right now need to get a cbd strain asap. An wenever I order cbd beans I always get some without cbd as well. The last cbd strain I tried was from barneys farm it was the cbd critical cure which is a great strain just I'm out of beans now :eek::rip: lol. Any ideas as 2 good strains from in house that I should keep an eye out for? I've seen alot of the jellybreath and its different variants an that has me curious to see how good she is an how did she end up for you. Is she a big yielder or not really?

Thanks Dankman! I cant wait to get them lights hanging over some plants! I just took a bunch of cuttings from all of the girls in under QB's, a total of nine plants, and i took 3-4 cuttings per plant. So i'll be having a plenty of cuttings to fill up my next tent! Plus i've still got plenty of seeds that i want to get started.

Welcome Blazinjones! Thanks for stopping by. Sorry to hear about you spillin your seeds. Bummer. This is the first time that i'm running anything from Inhouse genetics too. I've been wanting to for awhile now though. But there packs arent cheap! lol! So around Thanksgiving time they had a "Black Friday sale, something like %40-%50 off! So that made me look a little closer at some of the cheaper packs. I got the JellyBreathe bx1, Platinum Silk, and Cherry Gorilla F2 all reg seeds. I also just got there "Slurricane ix" feminized seeds. Those will be the next ones i pop! And those are the ones i think that i would recommend to you to keep an eye out for. Either the Slurricane ix, wich is a cross of the breeders favorite two phenotypes of the original Slurricane= Dosidos x Purple Punch. He is also about to re-release the original Slurricane so definitely may want to keep a look out for that. The reason i got the JellyBreathe is because it is Dosidos x MendoBreathe, (they were sold out of Slurricane at the time) and i wanted some Dosidos! I had a cut that i lost almost as soon as i got it! Some of the best buds i've smoked in a long time! Oh well, live and learn, right!

Lol ramble away my friend haha an thanx for the ptw pass off they need to make a smiley for taking a dab lmao maybe have like a honey pot with a silver stick in it an it pulls out a drip an tht could be the new dabber smiley face lol. But for now here try some of 7:meditate::roorrip: auto cross c4 auto x pineapple express auto. Very Terpy and fruity/citrusy.

I saw you post in a couple Kit journals and then read you like soil and lazy so figured I'd give a soft plug for Docs kit, there's nothing easier, results are fantastic and it's affordable. If you want any more info or have any questions let me know.

Loving the strain selection you made and damn you know how to pack that little tent! Nice work! I'm really digging the smell of my Black Cherry Punch IHG dryong low and slow, yum! My Slurricane was a runt but the boss said she'd be happy if that was the only strain she ever had which is very high praise and she also really likes Sugar Cane which is Slurricane X Platinum. @Mr. Krip is just harvesting some amazing IHG plants and @TheGreenYeti just chopped an amazing Slurricane.

Looking forward to these flowering! :yummy:

Smoke report for Purple Trainwreck- uhm...gots a lemon smell, not strong at all, and it carries through on the taste, although not as much as I'd like. In fact, as far as smell and taste, not too strong or prominent. Nice plant structure when growing, pretty good looking buds, very dense, frosty buds that break up well, alot of kief. I roll joints all day everyday when possible! She's a good yielder, and i enjoyed growing her. But, ive got more seeds of her, and also have Blue Dream from HSO, Chocolate Mint OG, Lemon Garlic OG, and Lemon Kush Headband. I enjoy running HSO gear. Dependable, stable, and usually end up getting something pretty special. But thats just one breeder! There are so many now. Some are a little more old school, some are new and cocky. Many a good strain out there to be had. I want to start adding more landrace, and heirlooms, and IBL's to my collection. Yes, i hoard seeds! I gots a feeling that this government of ours is going to make things difficult for the small home grower, like myself, if and when they get around to going federally legal. Just call it a hunch...
Anywho, thanks for stopping by and commenting on my journal. This thing may actually pick up some speed and get off of the ground after all.

Yeah, thanks hidden grow! Now i need to get my hands on another tent! 4'x4' . Anybody got any recommendations for something affordable, yet good enough to support the weight of my big ass lights, and good enogh to not have any light leeks! The one i have now is from Marshydro. And honestly, its a pretty darn good tent for the price and for the abuse its taken from me already over the last handful of years. Lol!

Took 3-4 cuttings from all!

These are cuttings of all the plants that are going to begin 12/12 light schedule by the end of the week. It was cold and rainy today here in Southern California so i went ahead and left the big MarsII 700 over them in the 2'x2' to keep them warm and cozy for now. But i know that we're going to "Spring forward " with the time this weekend (i think) wich tells me that the warm/hot weather is here! So I'll be putting up my other qb135 4000 Kelvin because hlg's lights just run so much cooler.

Dude for real I think my seed collection addiction is almost as big as my garden/growing addiction :rofl: but yea I'm wanting to have a huge seed collection ana special grow setup ready to jus go if need be. So if things go worse then they are and end up in a cival dam war I'm ready to dip to the mountains with a solar grow op ready to be setup and a huge seed collection so I'll always have a good blend for the rest of my life an then some lol. Atleast that's my plan an so far I'm jus getting the seed collection ready I still gotta get a solar setup then I'll have my bugout grow op ready to go hahaha. A few years back when I was first starting out with this old cat I knew he was tryn to teach me how to grow. But ended up dieing shortly after we got the barn up and running and all sealed in. We got one harvest done an was teaching me how to make my own seeds and run the setup on my own. An one day when I showed up to the house the ambulance was there taking him out ona stretcher covered with a sheet. An his brother took over our barn n had all the shit gutted b4 the cops an ambulance people showed up which was cool. But when I tried to get my seeds back an the cross I was making which meant alot to me. Cause tht was like all I had from him an dude wudnt give me nuthn back not even my gear. So I lost my first good strain I made. But i ended up finding a few beans in my car ina baggie. I remembered him giving them to me one day we were jus sitting on the porch n he found them in his pocket from when he was working with his males lol. It was from one cross he had made n said here have these so I kept em but jus threw the baggie in my car an forgot about them till then so it was cool I ended up getn those plus I had a few items to kinda start up again an by tht point I had the itch to grow so bad I cudnt stop lmao. But I had always wanted to get enuf beans to jus drop beans all over when I would be outside jus throw a few beans here throw a few over there then b4 u no it we will have bud jus growing fukn every where lol that wud be great jus driving down the road n bud all over hahah.
