Sour OG Clones Indoor Soil, 2017

Age? What can cause that and what would you recommend as a preventative?

Well it's airborne so good luck with that, I suppose an intake prefilter, but I'm not going that route for some homegrown. I didn't research prevention. I did read that you need to treat both sides of the leaves. There's a vid on YouTube about bathing the buds in H2O2 just after harvest and then drying them with a fan afterwards. I don't really wanna go that route but the guy who did the video seems to know his shit. The fungicide I ordered is biodegradable but I don't wanna smoke that. I think maintenance with H2O2 is gonna be the best option, just don't wanna over do it. Why you ask? Well mold of course... The H2O2 is 1-2 ounces per gallon.

When it gets there, let us know how you like it. Are you planning on using it for pictures?

I'm not sure about pics, but I'll prolly try. I do like a challenge! I will let you know either way.

Thanks for that video! And that's the way I would do it I'm thinking. Good post! :bravo:

Really? Maybe I'm just paranoid, but throwing a whole harvest into a water bath? Just seems counter intuitive.

I've read about washing in numerous places, but never considered doing it until I saw that video. What I had pictured in my head was nothing like what I saw in the video. From everything I have read, little to no trichomes are lost if you do it gently, and all kinds of crap gets washed off, not just mildew. But I just had a head image of the poor buds getting bashed around and scrubbed lol. Now that I can see how it is actually done, I think I would be fairly comfortable with it. Just my opinion though, and right now it's how you feel that matters.
:smokin:

OK, unless I have a major recurrence of this fungus I won't post about it again. I wanna mention a couple of things to y'all. First, I sprayed generously with the baking soda and soap solution. I decided not to worry too much about the buds and just let fly. I sprayed all three ladies with the solution.

Side Bar - I went to Grow Weed Easy and found this write up. Here's the problem, my grow room doesn't have these conditions, at least according to my equipment.

I SAW IMMEDIATE RESULTS!! I zipped up the tent and checked about an hour later, fortunately I've got what all of you should have, really good air circulation. The plants were dry and there was very little evidence of the PM, but still a little. So I sprayed again, and this time I did the underside of the leaves also, I through caution to the wind and decided, "FUCK THAT MILDEW SHIT!!! I"M GONNA KILL THAT CRAP!!"

It appears to all be gone and I've dumped the soap and baking soda and will use the H2O2. I anticipate I've gotten the better of the situation and will guess that the mold is not actually growing in my tent, although... Now that I think about it I should spray the run-off catch.

When the fungicide gets here I'll use that for a couple tries and then leave the plants alone to see what happens.

And... One last note, I noticed one of my buds and the one below it had quite a bit of orange on them, I'm wondering if the baking soda or soap may have burnt or somehow affected the color of the pistils on those couple buds, hmmmm?

If youve noticed anything about me to this point i try to pay attention. I cant go on without mentioning yesterday. Things are looking good so far. I did notice Jane seems just a bit paler today but still vibrant and healthy. Mary and Dolly seem real good, more burnt hairs than I originally thought but near zero trace of the PM. I sprayed Jane real good with the H2O2 and then lightly applied to Mary and Dolly. Things are shaping up nice and J2 the clone is looking wilted but green.

Glad too hear about the PW being under control, seems like you found a great home recipe for it. And yeah my clones look a bit droopy to but the older ones seemed to perk right up once some roots were established! Happy growing man.

Just droopy while in the humidome? Thats how my last one was too. Then i checked it 10 days later and 3 big roots coming out of it. I think i left it too long.

That's funny cause I'm wondering if i pulled mine out too early, like i was saying the other day it seems like the clone has almost frozen, she looks semi healthy but no growth what so ever, i put her under my led with my flowing plants just so she gets some really good light, I'll pull her out before lights turn off tonight. i need to set up some sort of quick cheap CFL for the clones so they get the light they need instead of being in the window of the house. Our solo cup contest is gonna light a fire under my ass to get that done .

I have a similar project just not for clones. Just need some small cabinets.

My gf has a decent size bread box but apparently it's been in the family for a while so she won't let me transform it into a clone station lol

It's sad that they just don't understand. eh? :)
