I don't know anything about hydro growing, but I know a great setup when I see one. If anyone hasn't been to this thread, please check out Rider's RWDC. The first two pages diagram the whole shebang:You are correct on that Jack, rdwc has plumbing with Nute solution circulating to multiple plants and it’s suppose to help keep ph more stable. Dwc is just one container running without plumbing going to others. I’m gonna try a one plant dwc next run, I can’t wait. I’ve been reading up a lot and watching videos. I believe I can handle it once I get it setup and learn how everything works lol.

He definitely has a super nice setup, I would love to have a setup like that one day lol.I don't know anything about hydro growing, but I know a great setup when I see one. Ahhh ok. So dwc is one pot one air stone and just the water in the bucket and you switch out the water. Like what every week? You are correct on that Jack, rdwc has plumbing with Nute solution circulating to multiple plants and it’s suppose to help keep ph more stable. Yep that’s right, I’m gonna do one plant and see how I like it compared to coco and then go from there. I may end up setting up a rdwc setup eventually.Ahhh ok. So dwc is one pot one air stone and just the water in the bucket and you switch out the water. Like what every week?
You know what I think Ill be able to knock up something like that. Id wanna do a comparison between that and soil. Ive heard they grow faster but the end product isnt as good?Yep that’s right, I’m gonna do one plant and see how I like it compared to coco and then go from there. RecirculatingAhhh i just got it. Rdwc=reservoir deep water culture.
Ahh thank you.Recirculating
I’m in coco now and I’ve seen a big difference in it and soil. My plants are double the size or more as they would be in soil at this stage. I’ve smoked soil grown weed and hydro grown and I can’t tell a big difference myself. Maybe in taste somewhat but again I can’t really tell. They may be more of a difference if running fully organic but I don’t think they are much difference if you grow in soil and use chemical nutes. You know what I think Ill be able to knock up something like that.
