Some Classic Favorites & Other Things In Soil

What you think of Cindy 99 or Green Crack?

I want a shot at growing the GC. I'm in heaven right now from this grow but there's always strains to try.

Yes, it'll start to foxtail more, sometimes extreme amounts. I noticed a bunch of white pistols pushed out on the most recent pics which is a sign. A lot of landrace sativas will start to reflower under 12/12. Some that grow naturally outside will flower and reflower for 6-8 months if it's an area where the amount of daylight barely changes.

Excellent grow. It looks like they're just gliding to an effortless close for you.

Thank you. Yep...I think they're gliding in for a smooth landing right in the sweet spot of the harvest window.

Congratulations on a beautiful grow Jim.

Thank you and welcome.

Great job on the Awesome Classic Team Grow MJ
The plants have looked healthy all the way through the grow bud.
Now it's time to reap the rewards of your hard work.

Hats off to you on this grow MJ!!

:thanks:

Looking good my man. Always love visiting your grows

:welcome: Grebs. Come back often.

You folks are making me feel pretty awesome right now. :thanks: all for stopping in. So this morning my wake n bake is Amherst Sour Diesel. It's pretty good. Very heady high....more testing to come later as I only quick dried a small amount of ASD. It's a lot like the Chemdawg which I really enjoyed yesterday.

Flower Day 58

I started my day with 2 bowls of Amherst Sour Diesel. It's nice, very powerful. Reminds me of bag seed Mary, probably a notch better in quality. Smoke is smooth and mild, also a notch above Mary.

My next smoke is Chemdawg. I have 1.2 grams of very green deep decarbed (230o F - 100 minutes) budlets. I am now officially spoiled. I really like the feeling of this Chemdawg high.

Ok....back to this grow. All the clones were fed yesterday. They had calmag and Budswel at 2 TBS/gal. I'm noticing something different about this soil mix which came from the bottom of the tote. It appears to me that the ratio of perlite to peat has increased. It could be the difference of plastic pots vs softies. Anyway, I don't think the soil mix is holding as much moisture as it should. I could be just imagining things too.

I swapped tents so the Classic girls from seed are now in the 3 x 3. Same light, one just a year older. All is well I think. I'll look at trichomes a little later. It looks like Panama is definitely getting ready with those fans just drying up.

Still battling humidity and it rained early this morning. RH in the barn for the drying buds is 55% early this morning. They'll get dry. It'll just take a day or two longer.

:thanks: for the comments and reps. It sure has been a pleasure to have you along.

The panama could certainly foxtail, i didnt look too close but i think I saw it the other day on your panama, so I dunno. I didnt see any re-veg flower. To me they come out near the top of the buds as single leaves more rounded and less pointy than sugar leaves. Could be just me but i dont see it yet, (me poor weak eyes).

I wish you all had a few nugs of this...it's that good.

next time I am thru the lowl-coastal country, if you here me knocking ( that will be the number 4 piston missing )
hahahhaaha.
Your chemDawg report erminds me of the 80s and the smoke my older brother used to get. deLIghtFul!

I hope you don't pass through just to break down.

I smoked a bunch of hooch since the late 60s not knowing the origin. There were some that I knew and some that was obviously better than others. In my mind, some of the strains that I've grown rank with the best of those. Yep, I owe a lot to the growers here at
:420:
Here's some bud porn for your viewing pleasure just because they looked so gooey and yummy. I pulled more little yellow fans off Panama this morning just to get to smell my hands. Bowling alley wax is what I got.

Looking great Jim (to state the bleeding obvious) Happy new year... it's going to be a good start

I'm not sure what someone with a sensitive nose would think of the floral melody that is my house right now. I do know this from picking a few more fans from Panama. She smells exactly like the hard wood paste floor wax my mom used to use. Thanks for the compliments. :high-five:

Floor wax is a new one for me! Some of the names we give smells make me think I'm in Hogwarts potions class. I'll assume it's a good smell to you with a homey feel, but what would the muggles think?

As always great stuff. No hope of catching up, but I'll do my best. Gotta check out that Panama reflowering thing.
:Namaste:

Hi ya Magic Man. :)

WHEW! I can't believe I had two months to catch up on here. Absolutely stunning grow, thank goodness you are so organized with your update pics.
I gave ya reps on the pollen/breeding, sorry to see the male...but so happy you opted to make use of it. :thumb:

Everything is so gorgeous, and I sure hope I don't have to be away that long again.

Now I need to empty the drool bowl I've had in my lap for the past hour of catching up.

I mentioned the reflowering because of the new pistols it was pushing all over the buds. They can start to grow foxtails and swell and basically create another layer of flower. They regularly do this in their natural habitat. It can be a bad thing indoors though, if you don't have good airflow because of them getting so thick. I lost most of a plant recently due to this and having my fan off for several days. Luckily it was a little plant. The fan doesn't get turned off anymore except to get out of my way when I'm working.

Floor wax, hmm... Mine has a woody smell, with a touch of citrus. There's a distinct, funk smell lately in the flower room though, that I believe is coming from my Panama. That may be the floor wax developing. You've got me considering picking up Chemdawg next time I order. To many strains and not nearly enough time.

Blue Dream - Day 138
Chemdawg - Harvested on Day 135
Amherst Sour Diesel - Harvested on Day 127

Flower Day 59

Leafly says:

Cannabis newbies be warned: Chemdawg tends to be very potent. Depending on grow conditions, this strain tends to have THC levels of 15-20%. Consumers can expect to have a very cerebral experience, coupled with a strong heavy-bodied feeling.

Then they showed the THC test data at 18-26% - Wowza.

Blue Dream still indicated as the most popular strain over there. Sour D number 2 and maybe my ASD will be better from a mature bud and a few weeks cure. Oh my! Should I be growing from their most popular list? Don't know but it sounds like a good strategy.

Chemdawg prolly number 20 or so. Yep. Chemdawg in my wake n bake bowl again this morning. I only made a dent in that small amount that I quick dried. How much of heaven could I enjoy if Panama green pheno is killer?

So I did note a slight increase in my electricity bill. I'm certain I won't be running 2 operations very long but we did have some crazy cold weather a few weeks ago.

I took some cola shots with my hand behind for a little perspective of size. Nothing giant but very respectable I think. They shrink in the barn anyway. It's not likely that I'll have to move up to wide mouth jars.

Happy Friday to all of you. Enjoy your day! :bong::rollit::bongrip::Love:

Panama - Day 140
Blue Dream - Day 139
Chemdawg - Harvested on Day 135
Amherst Sour Diesel - Harvested on Day 127

Flower Day 60

New pistils have stopped on Panama. Sometime next week she'll come down. I'm really thinking about harvesting Blue Dream as soon as tomorrow. Sometimes I have to take a second look at the trichomes. Measure twice, cut once approach to cannabis cultivation.

Shawnee planted a seed in my mind and I looked at the Medicine Man dispensary and grow operation in Denver. Wowza. Their bud tenders admit that dabs are their favorite high.

I also got lost the past few days looking at arbor presses and plates and electric nails and stuff. Yep...got lost but noticed the high price of squeezing rosin. I so like the idea of solvent-less production.

I can also report a milestone. Dry weight for the Amherst Sour Diesel was 94.4 grams and Chemdawg was 88.7 grams. Yep, both plants did over 3 zips and will enjoy their time curing in the jars or the #hashbag.

I'm going to spend the rest of my day dry sifting all of the tiny budlets for some kief. Gonna fire up my VaporBrothers Eleven pen and get my head right. I'll also strip the girls down to harvest weight by ripping all those yellow fans off. Gonna be fun.

Happy New Year to all of you. Enjoy your day! :bong::rollit::bongrip::Love:
