Some Classic Favorites & Other Things In Soil

Wowsers! Beautiful buds Magic Jim. That Blue Dream looks just about ready, nice fade, and she's starting to drop the leaves that she dont need anymore.... Mmmmmmmm....Blue Dream! Nice! I tip my hat to ya Jim *tips hat* I've been reading through this journal for the last few days and finally caught up. Even the Classic Clone girls are stackin up quite nicely. I bet that ASD was pretty stinky, huh? But in a good way, of course.

You left your barn door open Jim. Lol

Looks great my friend.

I had to my friend....64% RH in the barn this morning with doors open and very small fan blowing from across the room for circulation. At least I'll get a slow dry and my first wash is H2O2. Running the dehumidifier early this morning.

A big :welcome: to you Big Sparks! I'm not sure what someone with a sensitive nose would think of the floral melody that is my house right now. I do know this from picking a few more fans from Panama. She smells exactly like the hard wood paste floor wax my mom used to use. Thanks for the compliments. :high-five:

Chemdawg - Harvested on Day 135

Flower Day 57

Let me start by telling you that Chemdawg is really superior herb. I have a baking pan full of very small budlets from bottom that have been dried in a 150o F oven and I may try SweetSue's deep decarb on this little bit remaining. It's a mild smoke and could easily qualify as one of my every day favorites. It will obviously get into the top of my rotation.

Yesterday. I remember when the brownie truly kicked in because I washed my truck and this morning I noticed that the kitchen had been cleaned. I only moved the truck a few feet and otherwise I did not drive. I ate a bunch of just baked cookies. I remember pulling leaves and watering the girls from seed but my memory of yesterday has holes here and there so I'm fairly certain I enjoyed myself.

I looked at trichomes of Panama and Blue Dream. I'm seeing a little amber. We are close. Leaves are quickly fading and I need to harvest both at the same time as I have no more drying area. My bad. More to follow as I always like to take a second look. My first view was very early this morning. I guess it only makes sense to swap tents at that time so the clones will get some room to breathe a bit. That's a plan then.

Just 3 days to New Year's Eve. If it gets better that ought to be a bunch of fun. Have a great day folks.

Quick question if I have a 6" inline fan if I ran 4" duct connected to both sides with reducers would it work good or would it restrict airflow. Or should I get 6" duct

I know I would get a 6" duct. It will reduce airflow quite a bit. Not sure how much though

Did you get a new Carbon filter yet? If not, I came over this post earlier: My DIY carbon filter/scrubber for 16$

No new filter yet. This one is going to make it to the end of this grow.

What DeVille said.

I must go back and check out your topping and training techniques. You're getting hella-yields from those bushes! Nice variety too!

First cut almost like everyone at 4th node. I think I just cut or fimmed when I felt like it after that. There was really no training. I'm lazy and I don't think the plant cares.

It looks like your Panama is trying to reflower. Are you in 12/12?

Sent from this funny device I carry around and still call a phone even though I hardly ever make calls with it.

Still on 12/12. I'm not familiar with reflower. Could be seeing fox tails. Pam and BD have a few days to go yet. What looked like amber in loupe was mostly reflection from yellow leaves although I'd really almost want to take Pam right now because she smells so good.

I did tell you about Chemdawg. If the top buds are more powerful than the little itty bitty quick dried things from the stem bottoms, I'll be close to cannabis heaven.

Humboldt Seed Organisation - Chemdawg

Chemdawg is said to be the parent of OG Kush and Sour Diesel, and the original plant comes from a seed in a bag of high-quality bud bought by Chemdog the breeder itself, who developed new lines deriving from the original genetic.

The smell is strong, a combination of pine and jet fuel, and the high is very strong, not recommended to unexperienced users.

All of the Diesel strains (Sour, Headband, NYC Diesel) originate from Chemdawg.

Type: Sativa dominant

This is a massive hitter and a serious contender for the World's Most Fucked Up High. To say it's a heady stone would be missing something, as it's an all-over-body effect that sets your brain on fire. They say you'll know if you're smoking the real ChemDawg, and you probably will — but you won't know anything else.

What else can I say about this strain. I wish you all had a few nugs of this...it's that good.

Would you describe your strains as the uplifting type or more the couch locked type? The only uplifting strain I'm growing now is the Amnesia. The rest of them all give the heavy indica couch lock high. Always preferred them. However thinking about adding 1 more uplifting strain for day-smoking. Not sure which one to try out though.

What you think of Cindy 99 or Green Crack?

Chemdawg is sativa dominant uppy. Nothing couch lock about it. I smoked it, had breakfast, fed the clones, swapped the plants in the tents, and raked the remaining leaves and hauled them away. Then I took my shower, and went to lunch.

From everything I know about this, it can be controlled by harvesting when amber trichomes are 5% or less. I tend to harvest at the first sight of some amber.

One of these days I'll let one grow out a bit. Just sort of miffed right now that I only have 2 CD clones...la la la Jim is happy :yahoo::yahoo::yahoo:

Yes, it'll start to foxtail more, sometimes extreme amounts. I noticed a bunch of white pistols pushed out on the most recent pics which is a sign. A lot of landrace sativas will start to reflower under 12/12. Some that grow naturally outside will flower and reflower for 6-8 months if it's an area where the amount of daylight barely changes.

Excellent grow. It looks like they're just gliding to an effortless close for you.
