Some Classic Favorites & Other Things In Soil

Beautiful plants/flowers....I foresee a crapload of trimming in your future ;) (my hands hurt just thinking of it lol)

:welcome: urbanmonk. Thanks for the comments.

During the past two weeks I've been quite concerned about this. My most chronic pain is from osteoarthritis particularly in the hands. I also strained my right hand before Thanksgiving. If you didn't already know, there are quite a few bones, ligaments and tendons in the hand and they are easily screwed up. Plus I've broken both of mine at one time or another, neither in a fight.

In my Blue Dream delightful place this morning, I neglected the clones and the auto growing with them. Let me fix that now. Even one tent shot in bpurple. Have a great day folks. :slide: :peace: :slide:

Jim..... My entire scroll was "Oh Jim...." over and over again.

I'm speechless Jim.

Trimming: snap the fans off, leave the rest. Wash, hang to dry and trim after. I think that might work better for you Jim. Cut them with an eye to create manageable sections for trimming. I've trimmed before and after. After is easier on the hands, IMHO.

Make yourself some pain cream with some serious THC. Rub that into your hands before you start.

Just thinking about you Jim. :battingeyelashes:

Oh yeah, so cool that you found your new favorite. :high-five:

Hey there MJ - reps and props on this grow! Mind if I pull of my rocking chair for the rest of the ride. Cause you are rockin" the grow my friend, and rocking me too! Wow...

I was catching up from when you just started this grow. I really like your update format. Props for that and reps for the flowers!

I've got a wooden seed stash thingy with Blue Dream seeds in it, now after seeing your gear going hard, I'm seriously thinking of breaking that baby open and start some up for the spring.

I was at first totally amazed by the BD then your Panama just went crazy ... there's some big QUALITY buds there for sure. Always good to have to tie up a plant. I stake the main stem at transplant into final... that helps no lean! Which hey, I never complain because my plants are too top heavy right? My favorite "challenge"!

My favorite strain that I love to grow and smoke is Chemdawg.... I'm watching her. She's going to be your sleeper is my guess. That's saying something... too with the genetics you have going there. just when you think BD is kicking it... the C-Dawg is there and she's going to love you, and you are going to love her too.

Doing freaking awesome .... any of those 4 plants coming down the stretch are winners. You have a tent full of beautiful flowers.

Great job buddy! :Namaste:

When my wife first went to a medical dispensary here in our city. I looked at the menu beforehand and had her pick blue dream and jack herer. She loved them both. They frequently run out of both. But their supply runs out of many things all the time. Frustrating for medical.

Looking forward to more reports about your team of classics. :thankyou:

This might sound stupid but when you harvest your supposed to wash the buds?

Absolutely. When you eat veggies and fruits you wash them first, do you not? We ingest cannabis, and we also spray them with all manner of amendments and drop dander and skin flakes on them every time we pass by. Every grow space has dust and dirt involved.

We have a system of budwashing that's widely used on the site. Once you wash the buds you don't often go back to unwashed. Not only will it clean residue from the plant material, but the wash actually helps the buds dry more uniformly and the cure progress more smoothly.

If you have mildew you can add peroxide and save the harvest.

Pigeons420 has a couple videos on the process on his YouTube channel and there are any number of journals that have showcased the process. There's at least one thread dedicated to it and another dedicated to proving that you're not damaging the trichomes with a careful wash.

....... I forgot, there are no stupid questions, only questions awaiting an answer.

Ty sue you can always learn if you hunger for knowledge and with that knowledge comes widom. I would have been worried it would cause mold....im glad I asked

:welcome: cannoisseuras and :thanks: Sue for providing the answer. My first harvest was in two stages. I forgot to wash the final harvest and those last two buds molded. I'm a big proponent of washing and I use H2O2 in my first bucket. Everyone's situation is different but I battle high humidity here.

Based on my tester of BD I look forward to the harvest of this one. I literally sat and stared at her buds for quite a while this morning. Oh, and I finally squeezed one this morning. She's going to have some dense buds.

:welcome: bobrown14. It's an honor to have you pull up your chair. Thanks for the reps and kind words.

I knew when I chose these strains that something would impress me here. My wake n bake this morning was the Chemdawg tester buds. I didn't take much material from CD for this test. She was and is a treat. I found my mood right after my bowl to be very spiritual. It really pumps me to know it's your favorite.

She's the next to get some support as she's leaning against the side of the tent this morning. :Namaste:

Today's progress pictures without any more commentary as I need to feed myself, jump in a shower and get ready for the rest of my day.

Blue Dream - Day 120
Chemdawg - Day 121
Panama - Day 121
Amherst Sour Diesel - Day 113

Flower Day 41

I'll have to find some more stakes as Chemdawg is now leaning a bit. I have a few but I might as well firm up the support for all these. Heavy ass buds. It's a good problem to have. BD appears to have stretched just slightly over night but it's just normal wake up type thing. They will get their final feeding this week and a shot of Overdrive. I see signs of leaf yellowing so they know life is ending.

The grower forgot to make an entry in his grow log. I think feeding is due the clones but I'll somehow figure it out.

Jack Herer in my bowl again this morning. She's a classic too! :bongrip: Have a great day folks. I attended a lady's 69th birthday party yesterday in her room in a rehab/nursing facility. We all are blessed not to be in one of these places. We should celebrate!

I've washed every harvest since I started growing a year ago. The buds have always turned out great for me. That's interesting to hear about peroxide. I had a plant that started going bad. I might have been able to save more that way.

'sorry I missed this earlier. Here Doc Bud's original formula: Bud Washing
