Flower Day 32

I think I finally got the new digital timer working as expected. I was really stuck in front of the tent this morning gazing at the tops. I'm stuck now trying to describe them. I'll check for dry and will probably feed them this afternoon. I'll put 2 gal of water on the bubbler this morning.

Except for the time spent building that ramp yesterday, I've stayed really stoned out on this Sugar Mango. I think the brownie I had the other day cleaned my system. It could be that I cleaned the pipe.

Have a great day folks.

Flower Day 33

Yesterday I had Sugar Mango in my pipe :bongrip: and it was like taking a trip. Going there was fun and exciting and I got lots of things done. I skipped church, worked with the plants and went out for a late lunch. Then I sort of passed out. The battery on my phone drained too ... whoops. :lot-o-toke:

While I was in energetic mode the big Classic girls got their feeding of Big Bloom and Tiger Bloom. I took some portrait shots while I had them out. I didn't take Panama out as she wants to fall over. Those buds are getting heavy. Some time today I'll give her a little support. You can see she's now leaning against the tent so I have to fix that. I took some measurements and misplaced the sticky note. It'll turn up.

The Panama branch that was pollinated appears to have worked. Maybe I should have brushed on more pollen but oh well....seeds. (Fast n Vast x Master Kush) x Panama. Reminds me of the night one of my cats had kittens under my bed.

OK, so I'm going to put a note on Sugar Mango jar that too much is too much. Clones are now dry so more water for them today.

Have a great day folks.

Heheh, and they haven't even begun to fatten up yet.

Ya ... stakes be in order ... tomato cage, maybe?

Coincidentally, I'm really high too. :bongrip:

:ciao: Jim.

Now, I'm high, I know that cos I've been in from work for just 15 minutes and had 3 big rips but this Panama, even to my eye, looks a bit wonky. Has she fallen over or are her buds that heavy already? Time to get some stakes out to support her, she gonna be massive.

What I learned during the past few weeks is that I should put more soil in the 5 gal softies. These tend to begin having a rounded bottom and just lean over.

I've rigged up some stakes. If these buds were fish they'd be lunkers. I like the sound of hog legs too.

Hehe no nap for me, Monday be update day but gotta shower, eat and walk the dog first. No rest for the wicked RoorRip

I'm gonna get me a bowl now and take that nap since you won't be using it. :bongrip:

Seed pods looking good. Not sure if it has been said. Pretty sure they need 4 weeks minimum to mature. Watch for them to drop out cause they will sprout where they fall. And I have tried to let mine stay on the buds until dry when I can.

You probably knew all this I, I am thinking out loud what I did and or read about seeds. If ya store them make sure they are in dry storage. I store mine in old aspirin bottles with a desiccant. So far I am one for one with a stored seed sprouting.
Mine are regulars don't know the sex yet.

Cheers Jim :ciao:

Flower Day 34

Yesterday the Classic Clone tent got straight water. I may have to trim those in the rear as this tent doesn't not have the head space as the 4 x 4. I need to look closely at Crazy Miss Hyde auto. She may be getting ready and her trichomes will tell the story.

Panama got her bamboo supports and I laced some soft cotton string to hold the colas upright. These girls are still taking lots of fluids and filling out well.

I have a doctor appointment this morning so I have to shower and shave and get with it. Have a great day folks.

Oh...SweetSue is just so sweet to prop these ladies in the photo contest. Bless you friend!

Oh the smell of rotting fruit is so wonderful. ASD is really stinky. The Classic girls are a dream to grow and just cooperate so well. This is a truly awesome team and I gave them a little over a gal of straight water yesterday in early afternoon. I'm trying to prevent the dryness of the lower growth by moving the schedule up by a half a day.

I looked at Crazy Miss Hyde with the loupe yesterday and trichs are clear. I haven't a clue when this one will finish. Poor little thing is getting crowded out of light I think. I do hope she'll ripen up soon.

I have the last 1.5 gram bud from my first Jack Herer harvest is in the my little pan this morning being broken by hand for my bowl :bongrip: this morning. That harvest yielded 36 dry grams and will always be my favorite. I have jars of her re-veg and clone harvest. Wooowhoo.

:lot-o-toke: Have a great day folks.

Yes...lots of pictures.

I'll have to figure out how to hide the support string around Panama...or not. Maybe I'll move Blue Dream to front left.

I'm thinking in terms of three, perhaps 4 more weeks of bud development. I'll have to figure out how to maximize this time frame but I'll likely only feed one more time with any strength.

Have a great day folks.

Flower Day 37

The only activity yesterday was feeding the Classic clones and some super cropping of the tall Panama in the rear. She snapped right back overnight. The mix was 1/2 tsp Microbe Brew and 2 TBS Budswel in bubbled water. They really look like they loved something about this mix. I'll commit to finishing these only on the Budswell.

Every plant has pistils so we'll begin the clock today. This will give me an early to mid February harvest on this group of ladies and I can take a break from growing during the Spring....my favorite time of the year really.

The Classic girls from seed are just filling the tent and their fragrance this morning reminded me of the Florist we used when I was a kid. It smelled of just fresh flowers. These flowers are really filling in and I'll have them out today. Another opportunity to get some nice photos.

I'll honor with Jasmine in my incense holder today. I fell in love with incense when I went to college. Gosh I was so naive.

Anywho...have a great day folks. The last of the vintage Jack Herer in my bowl :bongrip: Winter cold here this morning so I had to put fresh water outside for the cats.

Flower Day 38

One of my objectives with this grow was more variety in an attempt to find a strain to bump Jack Herer from my favorite. So I had all the big girls out yesterday for grooming, inspection, watering and photos. I took me some tester buds and some mids which were quick dried in the oven @ 150 F. These were lower, wispy and immature but would give me some idea if I tested as my wake n bake. Panama was tested last night and I could only finish half of a small slim joint.

Blue Dream went into my pipe :bongrip: this morning and I'm convinced that it's definitely going into my favorite category. It's as powerful and lasting as Jack. The hype is real....especially if you grew it yourself. I'm fooking impressed. Quite the head high particularly in the sinus area and body high is felt in the shoulders and arms. This one (and likely all the rest) gets harvested at the first sign of amber.

So lots of pictures for you. Some of these photos are actually pretty good. Not quite as good as this high I have going on here. It's not fire. It's Blue Dream.....it's just kind of dreamy. Tomorrow morning I get to try another and I'm hopeful that ASD or Chemdawg will both be impressive. I've become impressed with these plants. These two are very photogenic. The Classic girls from seed all got straight pH adjusted water yesterday. I thought about not adjusting but ultimately decided to not change what's working so well. Mail man came yesterday with a dozen new Boveda 62s, brass pipe filters and a new pH meter. I am now an extremely happy man. :woohoo:
