Wow some of the flowering specimens are phenomenal . great work monster

I came to update that I have not left. This is still the same plant. 30 days later here she is .

She was stunted for many weeks... over watering, wife knocked her down from her perch TWICE.

But now she's picking up steam and she's in the flowering room with Explodey

It's okay Vlad! I have 3 that are small too for the same reasons. I guess we are in the running for the smallest flowering solo cup plants , I'll get pics up of mine later.

I reconfigured the cup retaining screws for the six remaining plants under the Hexapus. Replaced the 5 gallon bucket res with a ten gallon tote because I set it to 3 waterings a day now.

The plants had some minor issues from ph troubles. Basically- I was adjusting the level in a hurry and should have mixed up the slop the day before and let the ph settle to double check before putting it in the feeding trough. Was running at 5.3 -ish.

This is a mystery Ace Mix seedling. You can see the slight leaf damage, but still a pretty plant, I think.

Here you go Vlad, it's on!
Two in the front. The one in the green cup I found one morning laying on the floor of the cabinet, after falling three and a half feet with her roots still intact, she's fine, I suspect one of the ladies pushed her out, but i don't know which one

Why thank you Vlad. :high-five: Really it's nothing too ingenious, just some parts of a cheapo watering system I got as part of a work trade, and some other junk I cobbled together. Loving the dtw hydro though. Very glad I wriggled my way into the so called competition, it's expanding my horizons.

Here is my JackH at 41 days ;)

Really enjoying some of the great looking plants going. Sure - I'm a little envious :high-five:

It's been a struggle the past week. She looks better today than she has all week and that's not saying much. Just doesn't feel like she's thriving. I did a feeding with 500ml water, then just water a day later, then yesterday fed again. Definitely a growth spurt with the topped cola's growing a few cm's and a bit more stretching all around. However, the leaves look like she's either under watered or over watered. Tough getting the timing down.

I've cut back on the FF nutes so I'm giving lower than their recommended amount. Run off has been just around the 6.5+ range. Pistils are becoming more prominent as the flowering process has picked up a bit.

As Spitz said....Just trying to keep it green until flush. :Namaste:

(btw - just smoked some of my last JackH crop - mmmmm :passitleft:

Definitely lookin like a bit of a slice for sure golfy,, so easy to overcompensate when trying to fix a slice,, karma sent to the green one,, cheers :Namaste:

I think she could be drowning. That seems like a lot of watering. Does the soil dry out in between at all?

The soil dries out and she feels very light when I water. I fed her Thur night. Now on Sat. morning she feels light and pushing my finger in a bit the medium seems dry. I'm going to hold off watering until tomorrow, though.

I typically water until a few milliliters come out of the bottom of the fabric. She's getting close to taking a full 500 ml water bottle.

All in all - it's fun having something to check on. I'm going to be starting a white widow grow journal in a couple weeks, going back to the 3 gallon pot. That will be interesting because it will be my first photo plant.

Thanks for the advice :Namaste:

The bottom of your felt pot could be suffocating the roots :hmmm: Or stopping water getting to the center, causing the water to come out the bottom sides.
Maybe raise the pot and allow airflow underneath? Lego bricks could work :thumb:

The flat bottom of that pot is a huge percentage of the total pot surface area, if that makes sense.

Villageidiot puts river stones under his pots to lift them up from the drainage tray.
