P1160612.JPG

entering a new month,, and six weeks old,, or so,,

the tiniest bit of leaf damage lower down,, i think from being hidden amongst the other plants down low

i have never grown a plant where i have not touched it, training wise, indoors anyway

nary a finger has touched this one,, just as the weed god intended,, cheers weed god,, and,, folks,, :Namaste:

The bottom of your felt pot could be suffocating the roots :hmmm: Or stopping water getting to the center, causing the water to come out the bottom sides.
Maybe raise the pot and allow airflow underneath? Lego bricks could work :thumb:

The flat bottom of that pot is a huge percentage of the total pot surface area, if that makes sense.

Villageidiot puts river stones under his pots to lift them up from the drainage tray.

I use one of these :)

All the 420 wives just looovvveeee when them things come up "missing" I have a dozen of them kickin around my grow "space lab" Bahahahaa. I have 4 of them held up on 1'' pieces of pvc pipe for "legs" in a 15 gal fish tank that i run a few air stones in as a big clone box I just set the jiffy starter pucks on them. Works surprisingly well! :high-five:

p.s. I always get in quite a bit of trouble around hollidays when its cookie time and the cooling racks are noooowhereee to be found..

Just ask my wife if she had any cooling racks and the first words out of her mouth were "Your not getting my cookie racks"
And the weird thing is, she had no idea what I wanted them for.
Coming this Christmas to a kitchen near me;
Mission Impossible 6; Rack Attack

Any1 can start a competition (friendly) at anytime. Parameters and rules are set by said comp maker Dean. I think this was a great community comp! Its all in fun. Everybody wins! I like it! Im down for a 1l comp.. Im also down for a who wanna come roll me a blunt comp.. I roll triangles... lolz. But yeah man, by all means, this is fun. There should be more. It incorporates more community interaction i feel.. But that Lexort is pretty friggin good at growin in liter bottles man.. :thumb: Lets get 1 goin soon ! :high-five:

So any jolly fellow can write up a journal with the same rules? I'm interested! I was a little bummed I came across this journal a little Late. I think a lot of people have a challenge growing in such a small container and issues come around.

Who would be interested in a straight to flower competition?

Shot glass showdown
1L challenge
1/2 gallon challenge

I have spare seeds I would like to play with. :cheertwo:

Looks great Lyzardman. What is your watering schedule?

When I posted pics on Friday, she looked like she was over-watered. I didn't water at all yesterday. When I checked her out around 10am this morning, you'll see the photo on the left. Completely wilted over and major branches all wilting. Poured in 500ml of water, a few ml's dripped through the bottom. 5 hours later, she has perked up slightly.

I think Nivek is right - I'm trying to correct a slice and hitting a hook. Maybe I should water 250ml every day at the same time. Next time I water I'm going to pour enough through to be sure we're not dropping too far in PH.

10am this morning (36 hrs without water)...........................................................3pm today

Honestly I have have been pretty bad about any kind of schedule for watering, and more often than not I find myself working with the bigger girls and then I see a wilting can O' Whoop ass so I water it ( I even feed it with let over nutes from the DWC I have going so the Ph was not what it should have been but I was running out of time before lights out so I force fed her lol

Some colorful photos of my little solo cup girls as they begin day 50 of flowering. Enjoy!:blunt:

The struggle is real:clown:

46 days and we're looking pretty week. I flushed tonight with 5x the amount I normally give (500ml). First run off was low (below 6 - yellow -but not orange). Final run off was about 6.5.

Just can't seem to dial it in. I did order the AN trio (currently using FF) so the next time I feed I will use that.

The weather has been really warm so I took the extra blankets off the tent and added another fan. Going to start another grow in a 3gal pot with White Widow.

Hey golfer..you wouldn't happen to be using ffof soil would you....just wondering cause I've had some serious ph issues using it..can't get run off no matter what I do over 6...I stopped using it..real pain in the ass chasing runoff..no more for me with the ocean forest..

plants will go limp "over watered" or flushed. had a big one outdoors go limp, after i watered it. but, outdoors, i water straight out of the hose. no ph. water runs about 6.9-7.2. i havent used ocean forest in years. as i remember, it was too hot, for some plants. no added ferts, period. just too hot. no way could you do seedlings in it. so, i moved to the happy frog. BIG improovement. i stayed with that for a long time, till i decided it cost too much. then i went to one i had my best luck with, as far as potting soils go. "gardener&Bloom". stuff was great. organic, with just some start nutes in it, and a little mycortizae. the problem, i found, with organics, is they are very bug freindly. and, with every bag, i got free fungus gnats. lol. i tired of fighting those. so, i went to soiless. this left all the nutrician, up to me, as soiless has nothing in it. some put a little mycor in it. now, i like using this, as i love the idea, that i alone put nutes in it. no bugs. no ph problems, as it seems to balance well. i have had ph issues, going to low. this, i attibute, to not doing a "mid term flush". i am putting some of my used soiless, into the place where i do the outdoor. this will aid in aireation. not to mention a bit of left over nutes. ocean forest, is so hot, i do believe you could never add a thing, except ph water. and have a great harvest. i did a flush today, on a few gals. i start checking ph, and ppm, for readings, as i go. today, i stopped at 225 ppm, knowing my tap water is 125 or less. it started out at 800. which means i am going to increase the feed, a tad. i never feed over 1000. and rarely go as high as 900. the build up, of salts, is what can cause ph issue, and nutrient lock up. when the plants start acting like they do in late flower, but early, well, thats ph. they dont want to eat or drink. then they get sick. when this happens, only a good flush, can bring em out of it. and, a good learning exp, for me. peace.

Love it! I think she's going to drink that cup in a hurry though when she gets bigger. I wonder if plugging the lower hole, adding a drip line with valve to control rate, and a drain hole where the top hole is, and an overflow sump. Leave the air stone on and provide a drip that leaves the glass full. I am following your DWC closely. Nice job!

On another note, I may actually harvest something from my Afghan! Pictures this weekend. Keep your plants coming. Love them all!

Thanks for the advice everyone :Namaste:

I'm growing in sunshine medium with no nutes in it (like promix). I'm using the FF trio but my AN trio just came today, so that will be used next time I feed. Not sure when that will be.

Today she looks pretty much the same as yesterday after the flush. I'm going with 'over water' this time since she was flushed thoroughly.

I'm just hoping the leaves come back and she looks "healthier".

Weasel - yes, the stems are purplish. Also, the last time I fed (8 days ago), in addition to FF trio, I put some calmag and rhino skin in.
