SoilGirl's Soil Multi-Strain Grow Journal 2014

Damn..Sorry to hear this.
May he recover quickly.

You have any Charlotte's Web Seeds or cuttings?

High SoilGirl, Nice to meet you.

i had a look at the 5 first pages of your yard and your multistrain experience is great, great. I see how much your grow is appreciate by our "teachers" so it"s a pleasure to take a sit.

Ur sativas are Monsters : congratz

Good luck !
Thank you tadlawid, I'm sorry I didn't answer you personally sooner, lots going on over here. I've seen you around and I really appreciate your being here and your high praise :)
hi :)

wow, what a rollercoster catchup on your journal..

Yes everyone should be doing what they want to do with THEIR LIFE and have the courage like lion to go and do it, however crazy,or however "pointless" people say it is to find your dreams,THEY are just scared to go look :)

RIP BID, hope you had a good one :)
I love meeting people on my mad adventures who has "given it all up" and started to live on 50 euros a week in a tipi.. hahahah i love the expression "given it all up" pfff.. When people see me on the street making ashtrays from coke cans and playing guitar, tin or coffee cup out in front, dressed in whatever random clothes that i had found recycling- with my dogs and rucksack behind me- some people do ask me this question, " what made you give it all up and travel like this?" - i always say,"give what up? oh the slavery thing.. it didnt ever work out for me :)" and give a big smile lol!

Every death or near death i hear of reminds me never to have regrets in life, and i wish life wasnt wasted so.

I really am impressed with the whole idea of just giving it all up and striking it off on your own for a simpler and happier life, I've certainly had the urge to do so myself sometimes. Awesome comment OTM! :thanks:
Oh I'm so sorry, SG. How awful for all three of you. I hope he gets the best of hospital care (he obviously does at home). My thoughts (and, yes I'm afraid prayers, hey can't do any harm, faith is always fragile) are with you at this time. Lots of love to you. Mr Teddy x
Thank you Mr Teddy, and lots of love back to you, despite your keeping the faith ;) lol.
I really appreciate the thoughts and even the prayers, I think things are looking up since earlier today. My Dad is showing improvement already and should be able to come home tomorrow. He's already bitching at the nurses about his neck brace LOL. I'll take that as a good sign. :laughtwo:
I'm going to start sounding TGA bias but I grow their strains because they have super strong medical effects. They have 2-3 Harlequin crosses where the CBD and THC levels have been recorded around the 14% to 17% marker with 1/1 ratios. Just thought I'd let you know. they are also in the midst of crossing to AC/DC. Also known as Cannatonic CBD dom pheno or Charlottes Web. So they have some really exciting things in the future of their genetics with people who are suffering and don't just want to get high but heal as well :) Hope this helped you in some way

Edit: AC/DC is 21% CBD and less than 1% THC
Thank you for sharing G-low~! I've considered both harlequin and charlotte's web, and may still grow them in the future, but for the time being I thought that Blue Blood was a nice way to go, seeing as my Dad's health issues aren't confined to seizures/head trauma; he also has really bad back and knee problems, insomnia, blood pressure and circulation problems (I realize that neither CBD or THC are proven to help with blood pressure or circulation/blood clots but just saying), blood clots, anxiety, depression and the list goes on and on. I think that THC is also very effective as a medicine and so don't want to pass on it in a strain, not to mention my Dad also likes just getting high Lol. Also not to mention-so do I! :tokin: I'm hoping that my Dad can spare a few grams from my Blue Blood grow for myself :P I'm partial to a nice blueberry lol.
But the 14%/17% strains you mentioned definitely sound like something to look into. Thanks again, great comment! ;)
nice , now your talking! hmm wherever my next grow will be , ill be growing high cbd strains :) plus i want to do tutunkarmun from pyramid i think it was.. up to 33 %thc !!
Oh god did you see LA's tutankharmon grow?? Uber Cray Cray.
Thanks for coming by as always OTM!
Hello SoilGirl, very nice start, your UHB #1and #2 are sweet. Sorry you lost the one seed.I have found that some time there will be a fungus nat larva in one of my seeds and the seed does exactly what you discribed. So that may be what to it,its hard to say. But over all damn good job girl. Keep up the good work.and I'll be checkin up on you from time to time. TOAST
Awesome to see you come by Lem! Guys, if you haven't seen Lem's yard, it is jaw-dropping beyond all praise, I HIGHLY :passitleft: recommend going by there.
Thank you for the kind words, coming from you it means a lot! I'll be catching up further on your grow soon Mr. Toast-of-420, I hope all is well for you down in the SoCal deserts! :cheertwo::Namaste:
Hi SG. Very glad to hear your dad is better!:ganjamon: So you got the Photosynthesis Plus. Great! Results are uncannily visible very quickly, seriously. I use 1 tsp/gal every 7-10 days. With some molasses. The most ridiculous bacterial product I've ever found. Organic gold. I'll look forward to hear what you think. Ordering seeds....one of the truly fun activities of our gardening.
Oh only 1 tsp?? Geesh-now going to completely ignore their directions and go with what you do. Thank you for sharing!! +reps just for how helpful that is for me, and the fact that you grow such great buds! Your journal I'll be watching for sure :)
And yes...ordering seeds is awesome, especially considering I'm a first timer! I've always only grown seeds I've found in my buds from dispensaries in/around Denver!
As always, its great to have you come by BrightLight! :circle-of-love:
I have a 2-week old Blue Blood going. :cheesygrinsmiley: You can keep tabs on mine. :thumb:
AWESOME. Definitely will do, thank you for inviting me Graytail!! I'm sure that you have much to teach me. :high-five::Namaste:

Damn..Sorry to hear this.
May he recover quickly.

No I don't unfortunately, I probably will in the future to see its excellent medical effects for myself with my Dad, Josh Stanley is a great guy for doing what he does. Thank you for the kind words, he's already on the track to recovery, and maybe, just maybe all these positive vibes are speeding him along the path. Can't hurt to think so :) :passitleft:

I visit with the Ecological Lab folks when I go to Max Yield show. Last year I asked about dosages & was told that they had an error on some of their literature/labels. 2 oz. is too much unless one can afford it. But more on the initial application is fine. It can't do any damage at any level of application.
Oh that makes sense, awesome! Great share again :cheertwo::circle-of-love:

Hahaha ;) hi Hiker! :ciao:
I've been following your Budwashing thread, definitely gonna try it out this harvest! Screw all this fly spit -.- wtf. :cough:

Screw all this fly spit -.- wtf. :cough:

bahahaha :biglaugh:

Thanks. I'm glad you found something useful in there. I didn't come up with it. DocBud was the first one around here I saw talk about it, but Jorge talked about it waay back.

Good luck on the harvest :thumb:
I've got one starting this weekend myself. :yummy:

I'm re-educating myself about soil, so... well... ahem... your journal seems appropriate :blalol:

:laughtwo: I'm not exactly a Soil Guru or anything, I just like soil. Today I got my vermiculite in the mail as well as microbe life, and tons of perlite. With that on top of my organic Sunshine mix #4, compost and local soil...and of course, brand new Mars II 1600 :adore: I think I'm ready to rock my indoor grow here soon.
and I know, DocBud's a genius for that bud wash, Idk why I never thought of it... I guess the thought of dunking my branches in chemical water scares the crap out of me. I hope your harvest goes well too, mines probably a long ways off still. :ciao:
This thread moves at breakneck speed....hard to keep up. ;-)
*prayers sent* We Hope your dad recovers well SoilGirl. Keep your head up.
hahah yeah. I talk a lot :) I appreciate you for trying though :;):
Thank you for the prayers and well-wishes, and update on my dad is he had one small seizure about an hour ago, but it's getting under control, and isn't as overpowering and long lasting already as they were. My mom and I are staying positive. :Namaste::thankyou:

I'm on the same page as you and your dad. I just like to get high. so I make Ice water hash out of my potent CBD trim and then mix it with High THC trim and get the bets of both world in one :) make my own ratio's! All the best to your dad again :circle-of-love:

Sounds like your Pop is one hard headed guy Soul Girl. I'm glad to hear he's recovering. Give him a gentleman's hug from me.

Since you are repotting into larger, heavier pots, now might be the time to consider a garden cart ( or shopping carts) to help your girls follow the sun I. Your back yard. Someplace you can leave the pots and pull them around for watering and sunlight. Think of Lembatoast's mom and the cannabis in the wheelbarrow :)

No need to have multiple back injuries in your garden sunshine patch.

"When I was a kid, I thought quicksand was going to be a much bigger problem than it turned out to be."

Similar thoughts when I was a kid, but I have been surprised twice in my life.

In Arizona, there was a rain 3 months after I moved into a new construction home, slab house over dirt.
It rained for 10 hours and maybe 10 inches.

My pool that was one month old was being flooded with muddy water because the landscapers had not yet installed a French drain and I stepped out into the mud to dig a channel for water to flow. I sunk hip deep on the first step and banged my elbow on the patio slab.

One year ago, shortly after moving into my current home, I was exploring the brook bottom and my probing stick disappeared into the muck.

I had stopped worrying when I hit 30.

No one expects the Spanish Inquisition !

I think this will be the last house I buy :)

I've never made ice water hash, will have to try soon here! and hahaha yeah.... my dad enjoys his joints. I'm a bong/bubbler girl myself, but I really wish I had a vape again. So much healthier, although the CBD's don't come through til a high temp. Thanks again for the kind words and share!

You have no idea Reg ;) apparently he tried to walk right out of the hospital this morning!! My mom (doesn't know how to say no) gave him the keys to the truck even though she was yelling at him to stay... People had to stand infront of our truck and Boy, they have no idea how brave they actually were, I'm sure my dad was seriously considering turning a few nurses into speed bumps!!
I'll take that as a good sign for his health -.- that kind of mental unstability is normal for him ;)
Thank you Reg, I will :hugs:
:green_heart: for you & your dad, just came by to say hello & puff one with you, gotta match? :passitleft:

I can't keep up in here :surf:
Unless you want resin, no :cough: hahah. Thank you for the kind words, and yeah, the last 2 days have been moving really quickly in here, I'm flattered that everyone is stopping by and commenting and caring :circle-of-love::hugs:
Hoping your Dad gets better quickly!
Thank you MP :) No seizures all night, he's looking like he'll get released today, despite his jailbreak attempt LOL.

Hahaha thanks for the concern sweet wizard ;) but I don't plan on transplanting my larger plants (or most of my smaller ones), even though I probably should. I think UKH1 is in a 7 gal-ish, and Lucy is in somewhere between 8-10 gal... and actually, I am already using a wheelbarrow for some transportation though I don't keep them there. I like spacing them out so they all get pretty good light penetration, and a little bit of lifting is good for me hahah. My arms are scrawny, I used to do gymnastics and soccer but lately I've been a lazy stoner.
But, I will have most of my plants in wheelbarrows to make it easy to move my plants around for my dad/neighbor, if we still go on the trip to denver in 2 days...which it looks like we will, my mom needs to get back to work and we have no money. We probably wouldn't if we didn't have such a sweet neighbor who's known my dad since he was a kid and is offering to help out while we're gone.

Oh god isn't that scary?? I was crossing a creek by my old house in westminster, CO (denver metro area) and I literally got stuck up to my belly in the muck by the banks, nasty black, sinky stuff... My friend had to pull me out with a stick, and accidentally scratched my neck pretty good. I still remember getting yelled at by my mom when I got home Lol, "stop getting your muck and blood all over the floor!!!" .... uhm, could have died mom, nice to see you too! :circle-of-love: thanks for sharing Mr. Wizard-the-brown, you never worry about that sort of thing til it happens!

Thank you Maggiesfarm, I really appreciate it.

So, looks like my Dad will be coming home today! :) He's back on his feet and stubborn as a stump.

And some other good news, my Euphoria showed sex for the first time today, and she is definitely a she! :yahoo: Will add a pic later.
