Soil - Hydro - 2400w Led - 2000w HPS - 8 Strains - 1 GPW+

Re: Blue Planet Nutrients-Soil-Hydro-2400w Led-2000w Hps-8 Strains-1 GPW+

UPDATE
DAY 17 FLOWER
PH 5.8
PPM'S 1140
TEMP 85 DEGREES DAYTIME 72 DEGREES NIGHTIME
CO2 1200 PPM

Things are looking pretty good so far, I noticed a slight fading of the upper fan leaves on a few of the led plants Im not sure yet whats causing it but im keeping a close eye on them. They have all pretty much stopped stretching now except for the auto which is now 36 inches tall and still stretching. The ppm's started to slowly rise again so I dropped them to under 1200 and things appear to be good now.The nugs are still slightly larger on the hps side but not by much yet. Both sides are already starting to frost up but the led's are definetly winning that race so far. The canopy is pretty even, there is practically no difference in stretch at all but the led plants definetly have more bud sights than the hps.Ive changed my res change routine from evey 7 days to every 10 days, BPN is not as concentrated as GH so im trying to stretch it out a bit, I wonder if thats where the fading is coming from, any thoughts?

Great job so far my dude. You always have very exciting updates :Namaste:
Thanks UG,looks like im showing a mild def, im thinking its calcium and maybe iron. I know iron is doubtful but thats how it looks to me.I ll try to get some pics up tomorrow night.I just got done flushing each individual pot with around 10 gallons of 1/4 strength solution and then I refilled the res with 1/2 tbsp per gallon epson salt and 80% strength everything else from BPN. Hopefully the epson salts do the trick. It kinda looks like a N deficiency too, an overall pale green color on some of the leaves. It also looks like some of the edges on the berrybomb are starting to brown up a bit.I recalibrated all my meters just in case so its not ph.

i just picked up a reverse osmosis system from sunflower supplies for $125. i also picked up a float kit and shutoff for another $25 that is not listed on the site that allows me to run a reservoir that automatically tops itself off. if you call there ask for Ryan.

perfect that was my next question, I can use the shut off valve and float kit for a 55 gallon drum right? then just pump it into the res as needed.

the float kit and valve are just for that purpose, i am going to use a large rain barrel as my reservoir. the valve senses when the float shuts off the water flow to the reservoir and shuts off the waste water so the system does not keep running and draining to waste. they even installed the valve for me without additional charge.
