QUICK UPDATE - GIRLS SOON TO BE HARVESTED
Happy weekend, everyone!
It's been another long week for me, and I still owe those natural light photos I promised I'd try to post last week.
I've been doing my best, on limited time to keep up with everyone's journals, but haven't had too much time to keep up with my own!
The four oldest girls in flower are due to be harvested in two weeks.
I did pull a little bit of a "bonehead" move, but nothing that caused any real problems...
My original schedule, which I have in a spreadsheet, had me reducing the nutes two weeks prior to flush (3 weeks prior to harvest). At the same time, I also discontinued the AN Big Bud and started the AN Overdrive.
But, I figured since I was using Clearex for the flush, I'd try keeping them on a higher dose of nutes a little longer, so changed the schedule to start reducing the nutes one week before the flush (or, two weeks prior to harvest).
It sounded like a great idea, so, I modified the spreadsheet to start reducing nutes a week later. But, I totally forgot that meant I SHOULD have started the Overdrive a week ago! (Doh!) Oh well...no real problems, since Overdrive isn't needed to grow great MMH, and I am starting them on Overdrive today, but I do believe (with only my observations to back it up and NO scientific evidence!) it does help those buds swell in the last couple of weeks.
OK, without boring you further, let's get to the pics!
First up is the Pineapple Express, which is the shortest of all the plants in there right now, but she has some nice, fat, trich-covered buds I can't wait to vape!
Next is the Power Skunk. The buds on the PS are never as big as the others, but they are extremely dense and tend to yield much more than it appears. Plus, like the PE, they have a real thick coating of trichs:
Finally, the two Lucy's. Consistant with the first Lucy, they are producing some nice, fat buds. Unfortunately, not the size of my first one, which was huge, but probably because the first was the main cola topping. Also, the pics didn't come out as well on these for some reason, but certainly good enough to get a good idea of what's going on.
Here's Lucy #1:
And, Lucy #2:
Happy Harvests!
