I would love more people to report their results after washing . To me it was more potent because the high was more defined. Meaning It just felt more of a pure high. With all of those contaminants washed away it could actually be more potent since getting rid of more of the junk will reveal new flavors and would increase potency. Its not the same as having more thc content. It was for certain less harsh on my lungs which I love. I will take more pictures once I have everything ready after I wash. I will take more pictures of the water containers after all these nugs have been washed so you can see what washing has rinsed from the nugs. Im going to get something to eat now I think so will be back in a few hours.

When mine are ready in june I plan on washing part of them if not all. If I can get my son to agree with me on this

Yeah when my plants are ready for harvest I will devote a small portion of them to washing. Test it out.

I'm noticing a pattern forming here.. you guys are using women as test subjects!

Women are more sensitive and notice far more subtle changes in my opinion. Besides, when I told her I planned on trying bud washing she thought I was nuts. haha.

looks like you washed some pistils off too but I see rubbish also

Yeah but theres millions of flowers here so a few hundred pistils doesnt really mean much. We will see how it turns out in 3 or 4 days. Today is bucket cleaning day. I got to clean the soil and roots from 6 buckets. Bag the dirt up and then I dont know.

Hey Joe hows it going? You getting ready to harvest again? I just started my final flushing on another plant that is ready. i also had a few nuggets left over on my last plant that i let go a lil longer and i decided to do the wash on them also but i did the first rinse then i did a second rinse on the 3rd i just put cold water and squeezed a lemon into it. So i swished it around and now I'm just letting it air dry with the lemon water on it to see if it gives it a flavor or not. Hopefully it doesn't make it taste like shit.

I went and bought a bunch of them to use during lst I found them to work great for me. Now I just use them for all other things too.

LMAO, best use of hair clips I've ever seen. But yeah SmokerJoe you lost a couple pistils there, that's what I'm a little worried about, it ruining the bud and possibly taking away from the potency.

Well all I can say is we will see when they are dry. Like I said a few missing pistils isnt going to hurt anything that 1 extra toke wouldnt more then make up for. A lot of those were loose pistils since I trim while the plant is still standing as opposed to trimming after the wash.

So do the pistils have lots of thc in it? if so couldn't you just run the water thru a sifter and dry them out and put it on top of the buds for an extra kick?

This entire harvest will be for me and my gf anyways since I let it pollinate to collect seed. I wont sell seeded bud. So for us a few pistils that were mostly loose laying on the buds isnt to big of a deal for us. Its a bigger deal getting to smoke without breathing in all that other crap for a cleaner burning less harsh smoke. The only difference from the last wash is there was a lot more washed this time vs last. The difference of about 1/4th of the smallest plant the first time vs a plant and a half of the biggest this time. I will take micro shots when they are dry. I hadnt checked to see yet today how much drier they are but they should be dry in 2-3 more days whether I check on them or not. Been to busy with the cleanup to prepare the next plants for the closet to really have the time. Still got 6 or 7 plants to harvest tomorrow and the next day while having to clean buckets the grow room itself add new soil in the clean buckets once they dry then sow more seeds.
