SmokerJoe's Indoor Organic Soil Bagseed Grow

That would be good to see. I would like to see it under a scope. To show all the icky crap and the washed. I think that would be a good comparison.:high-five:

I do too but I rushed it because I got lots of work to do with trimming and maybe some washing tonight as well. Im gonna be doing 9 plants fully within the next 5 days.

Thank you. Sometimes I feel like it is a lot of room but then sometimes I remember those who grow 99 plants in the room. With my skill and dedication I feel I could take care of 100 plants at a time with not to much problem.

After sharing 2 blunts of these washed buds we think; the bud hits smoother. The high is more pronounces. The blunt lasts longer because it seems to burn a lot slower. My girlfriend thinks it has added potency and gives her more energy.

I'd like to know as well xD the blindfold test that is. I'm having a hard time convincing my bf that's a good idea to try but he's stubborn!!!!!

Yep, sounds like a guy.
I just trimmed a few scraggly branches that weren't going to produce much and washed them.....I also have a few I didn't wash. I'll sneak them on my wife and see if she can tell any difference.

I doubt she would want to do all of that . She was against the wash but she was ok after I told her I washed them before. She was afraid it would turn to sludge.

Do you think it could be a placebo effect? I don't see how it would make the bud more potent. It makes sense that it would be smoother though, no extra crap in there scumming it up. Sounds like we need a double blind survey.

I would agree on the blind study test!!

Hey Joe! The washing thing is an interesting development lately. I have never done it but then my plants don't see any spraying or non organic ferts so I hadn't worried about it. Now I will have to do some washing I guess just to be part of the in crowd :high-five:

Bob ;)

Well I use organic mostly and dont spray either but washing still makes a difference. This is the 4th or 5th grow I think where I washed after awhile the grows run into themselves in my memory but the thing I remember is having neutral to positive results each time. This grow seems my yield is a lot more then last time so I get to wash more. I never dedicated my entire yield to washing in case something went wrong.

I just trimmed and got ready a new plant and the half that was left in the yellow bucket. The nugs in the yellow bucket are bigger actually from the time I gave them back in the grow room. The thing is I felt the nugs and they feel pretty dry already. I've never had nugs that dried on the plant. I will still dry them after I wash them but maybe I shouldnt wash them since they are pretty much ready to smoke as is due to how dry they are. What do you think?

I would love more people to report their results after washing . To me it was more potent because the high was more defined. Meaning It just felt more of a pure high. With all of those contaminants washed away it could actually be more potent since getting rid of more of the junk will reveal new flavors and would increase potency. Its not the same as having more thc content. It was for certain less harsh on my lungs which I love. I will take more pictures once I have everything ready after I wash. I will take more pictures of the water containers after all these nugs have been washed so you can see what washing has rinsed from the nugs. Im going to get something to eat now I think so will be back in a few hours.

Bud Washing

If you guys want to read more on that.

If I understood it correctly, it isn't about washing it off dirt and other stuff, the catch is the plant still lives or continues to produce resin even though you cut it. Hope I got that right! So that's why it enhances the potency! If I am speaking bs please correct me :high-five:

When the relative humidity in the garden is low your resin production will increase. This is a natural response cannabis has to dry air and attempt to protect itself from hot dry conditions. Marijuana resin actually has one of the highest UV-resistance ratings in the plant kingdom. The resin reflects light preventing the buds from getting sunburn.Lowering the humidity in the room on that last night before harvest morning will ensure increased resin production without having to let the soil go bone-dry first. Another thing is to prolonged dark periods of up to 24 hours just before cutting can make spikes in resin production. This is all do to low humidity will cut down on light uptake anyway plus it helps to make sure liquid foods within the plants drain down to the root zone. I do not know if that is off topic but that's my take on that.
