SmokerJoe's Indoor Organic Soil Bagseed Grow

So rough it is SmokerJoe, I really enjoy the back & forth, that's how I learn. I just love the 4'X4' tent in the office, don't think that would work for me though, office is in the living room. LOL

Just be careful when you do it. You want to feel and hear a crunch. Like a crushing sound but dont actually snap anything off. When you do this it will make the branch limp and then it is easier to keep the plant into a low profile. The crunched areas will heal in a day or 2 and most will form a knuckle looking thing on the stem which is the same thing a bone does when it heals after it is broken. This is all done to increase the stem strength allow more nutrients and water to pass and will greatly increase yield.

they don't take long to open. your crop will be ruined if you let them open in your room, unless you want seeds.

Im going for seeds and they arent in the same grow room.

Im keeping them until the pollen is viable. I just want to know how long that will take. They are all 3 weeks into flowering in 2 days.

I will have someone take pictures of me doing it or perhaps do a video for you.

I was just informed the phone wont allow videos to be sent to email so.. I guess lots of pictures then. Its a silent film. I really wish I had money for good equipment. I would love to put together a time lapse video

Another good collection method is to supercrop entire branches so they are horizontal, and then when the pollen sacks open, a collection sheet underneath will catch it all. It is much easier than cutting bit by bit, but either way works. I'm guessing you already have sacks open, or atleast they will start opening tonight. The sacks don't open up in synchronous, but they will start to open up more as it matures, so pollen collection can be somewhat tedious.

:goodluck:

Lester is the pollen not viable if I open the sacs to collect so the shit isnt flying everywhere?

The pollen may be viable if you force them open, but you wouldn't be able to collect as much. I believe viability and yield will be increased if you let them mature and open on their own and collect the dust on a piece of paper or a plate.

Yes im gonna collect on a paper plate or a baby bowl with a lid. Im going to apply with something small like a figurine paint brush or a pipe cleaner maybe even a butter knife would work at least in my head it works. Just wish I had more then 1 unknown strain to play with. The thing also is I mixed bagseed for like 5 or 6 batches so I really got no idea what im growing. These people over here dont know what the fuck they sell. Everything is kush this and kush that dro this and get the hell out of here with that bs.

Im here to help. Hopefully someday it gets me one of those member of the month nug jars but if not then helping out many people is a good enough reward for me. Thanks for the encouragement dr. bob

MOTM get's a jar of nugs?!
Nice!!
- About the supercropping, it looks like something i could benefit from in my closet.. since i could probably only fit a single regular plant in there in flowering, supercropping could be a great idea for my yield.. For my current grow im just going to keep on low stress training and see how it grows for me, i gotta get a feeling of how the plant progress is moving before i try out this method i think.. I'm keeping a close eye on your progress though! ;)

No not a jar of nugs a jar for nugs. I wish it was a jar of nugs but I just want the jar :)
