Morning everyone, day 31 is here, and it seems like these are getting harder and harder to do every day. I did notice something today while doing my everyday stuff before I posted the update I wanted to share with my fellow dirt diggers. I am sure many of you were already aware of this but for those who may not be, I hope this is useful for you. Today I needed to feed the plants under the SCROG and in the veg tent, though lonely miss Mango had her feeding yesterday. I normally pour in my water/nutrients slowly and in a circular pattern to get even coverage until I start seeing liquid begin to fill the tray below. Once I have about a 1/4 inch in the tray I stop watering and sponge out the excess. Well today I did my watering but instead of sponging the water in the tray out right away I got distracted, as many who know me will not find surprising. When I came back to sponge out the water, it was dry, not a drop. I use cloth pots and while I was away being distracted, the soil above wicked that moisture back into the pot. I mixed up another 1/2 gallon of nutrients and continued pouring 1/2 into one plant and 1/2 into the other. Again I got some spillage, so I waited, this time some was wicked back up but only a little. I am assuming this was caused by areas of the soil which did not get full coverage of water, wicked the moisture back into the pot until it was thoroughly saturated. Pretty sure that is the case but I will be using this method for watering from now on.
No signs of the mites yet but do not expect to see any signs until at least tomorrow. Someone had made a comment about going "Rambo" on them, I was seriously thinking about taking my shirt off, putting a red bandana on and have a big ole knife in one hand and a spray bottle in the other but felt it would not be nice to subject you all to my old uncovered chest... ewwww
Sorry for being so long today I took a ton of pictures and just could not narrow it down to just a few. I liked them all. Up to now my veg tent has always been a shot of all the ladies grouped up in the tent, so today I pulled them out and am giving you a side and upper look at each one. I also took a few pictures below the SCRO so you can see it from a different perspective. In all my pictures the only thing I change is the size by cropping, either more or less light and that is it. I do not add colors or enhance in any way. so with no further ado, I hope you enjoy.
The candidates for grow #2 in no particular order other then side and above
My feeding schedule is always handy and I check my temp/RH% high and lows every day and reset them
Now for the tent everyone really cares about. I played around trying to get a different perspective on the garden then I normally do though I took some of those pictures too.
Since I am not allowed to name the LED light I am using I admit I allowed it to be caught in a few pictures.
Temp/RH% for the flower tent is starting to get better, high of 51% and a low of 45% since yesterday. Still needs more minor adjusting.
I know it is a lot of pictures but I hope you all enjoyed seeing them as much as I enjoyed taking them.
Hope you all have a great day and nothing but the best of luck with your own gardens
