Skybound's Journal

Also, Faux Brix Mix Rev 2. Having previously been using diluted drenches and the spray, I contracted a deficiency in N, P, K and Mg. This revised blend gets a lot closer to Doc's numbers and hopefully will mitigate those 4 deficiencies. I'll know in about a month or two. Otherwise, they're growing pretty smooth, surely till mid bloom.

Also added my cloning solution I've been making for years.

Family photo. Most of them have one deficiency or another. Leaves wilted, twisted, yellowed and falling off. In hydro I could make corrections tonight an observe tomorrow, but in soil I need to wait out the drying of the soil before I can drench, then wait again. The long waiting will take a lot of getting used to. also, I fashioned a rod to hang hangers of buds on to quick dry after harvest. As is, 48 hours is too long in the open air it's so dry.

Looking good in there Sky Thanks for sharing the chart on the mix you are making and figuring out what all is in Docs system or what ever you want to call it. I was wondering what was in his stuff or close to it

I'm not certain what he uses, I'm just aiming to get pretty close.

im sure you'll get it dialed in you might be better off just going with one of the many organic soil mixes there are just watering is pretty cool @Dankman_420 does well with his it just seems it might be less stress with basically the same produce in the end :)

But you know Sky he is our mad scientist so he is into figuring out what makes things tic and creating new things. Smart man right there and a good guy too. I am starting to get the hang of this DBHBB thing it is really pretty simple but I am going with LOS this spring so I will have lots of questions when I do and I couldn't think of better people to converse with then Sticky, Dank, and Sky. You guys Rock and I know between you three I will Love the LOS thing

for us, it's 3am, but for Woody it's like midnight, so it's a different kinda late, haha.
I am just Manic so I am not sleepy at all so I was looking for some one to shoot the shzit with

What are you up to Sky

not much, just watching a cooking channel on YouTube. My sleep schedule is comparable to Kramer's in that one Seinfeld episode, but way less structured. I'm actually gonna take it down now that I've finally been able to muster up a good yawn. G'nite PC!

I refined the thing that I'm now calling a Coupler to have locking fingers so I'm able to join a 20 ounce solo cup to a 9 ounce cup. I think I'm liking this better than a flipped over tote to use as a clone dome. with the cups, I can use cubes or go straight dirt and have the ability to check the weight of each, root development etc w/o popping open the dome and letting the RH escape.

Question for ya bro,
If you were a private gardener, would you select auto flowering plants?
I already asked Shed his take on them.
I am getting some Auto's for free, but don't know if I am interested in them.
Your opinion is being solicited.
Thanks Sky

Hello, just had to say I love your avatar. When I was a young Marine we did fashion gas masks into smoking hoods. What a blast it was being young and fearless. Just wish the pot was this good back then. Maybe.

Thanks! It's from cover of black Sabbath never say die. I'm bit of a music junkie. I saw your post about the auto's I just wanted to say I've never had much luck with them. But I've not grown a whole lot of them. Maybe a dozen or so. I had some that gave up a 1/4 oz and some around 1 1/4 oz. I'm not a fan of them personally. But others have had better success
