Lettered garden stakes for keeping track of the feeds of 9 plants in bloom. Because there are 2 types of drenches, there would be no way I could keep track of who had what last without creating a feed ledger, but that just seems a bit much, especially for an irregular event like watering potted soil plants, so I figure it would just be easier for me to stake the initial of the drench that was given previous, ie Growth or Transplant.

If I didn't already say it, get you a printer! This shit is too useful and fun!

Though my first soil run is mostly a failure, I couldn't help but notice that the stems on this tiny PC in spite of being so thin, are rather rigid and sturdy for their size. IDK if this is attributed to the jacked up calcium levels or if peat moss in general just builds great stems. I expect she'll yield about half as her hydro control plant, though TBH, both ended up once again letting me down in terms of projected yield. But on the bright side, I do look forward to good stems as it seemed that was the down side to growing in hydro, ie the luxurious amounts of potassium which makes them uptake less calcium ... weaker stems.

Using a spray bar on a small submersible pump is a great way for washing buds as it both keeps the lemon and baking soda mixed, but also flows the liquid across the buds so while I'm gently jostling forward and backward, the spray bar is flowing from the side and I get more wash from the first stage.

I'm digging the pump for keeping wash mixing. I'll be doing that next bud wash!

It's great that half inch pipe threads screw onto these little pumps. I was able to screw a PVC threaded Tee right onto the pump with no intermediary pieces.

The room is slowly developing into what I'm aiming for, the floor space is opening up which will allow me to evenly space each plant while still having good access all the way around each. I just have this one more hydro plant and man it's gonna be a doozy! The 6th of January will be 9 weeks of 12/12, and generally all my strains have been coming down right around 8 weeks, so she's got until roughly New Years to fill out more. She will definitely be a great way to end my hydro career. About a week and a half after she comes down marks the beginning of weekly chops.

Here is the one I just added to 12/12 moments ago. It is just an Em Dog clone of decent size and decent health. It seems all of them generally display decent health. None are building big buds yet, but hopefully that improves over time, otherwise I'm considering slivering in some potassium to the ferts, though I'll wait a good month before going that route.

Man that one is a big girl :high-five:

It's all because of that thick ass trunk, lol. All plants for months leading up to it have had trunks half as thick.

@Maritimer Here's that little fan I told you about with the 2 feet of flex duct to deaden the noise. It keeps the room warm, lol (I hate it).

I found a new trick in my setup, I can swing the lights to aim them better using the HID fixture as an anchor and yoyo hangers to pull the COBs into the center. Doing this allows me to share the HID light that leaks off the sides of that big ass Em Dog, but between that salvaged HID photons and the COBs, I can get more total photons. Another cool thing I have in mind is the way I will load a new plant into the room is the position right in front of the door, but each new week, I will shift every plant over one position all the way around the circumference of the room and the final week will be in the center of the room under the HID, so essentially, all sides of the plant will get exposure and with all the movements and it will work like an assembly line which will make it much easier for me to visually track progress, plus it would be great for me to know where the week 3 & 4 divide is so I can prune branches at the right time. I am concerned that maybe all of the movements might be stressful for the plant's equilibrium or something along those lines, but I'll keep a watchful eye. I won't be starting this strategy until after the new year when the sequence is weekly. I still have 3 more plants to get replaced.

I do stuff like that to get those lights aimed for the most you can get out of them I sure like your set up with that large growing area its nice things are going to start looking up here real soon sky!

Thanks Sticky! The closer I get to finalizing the transition from the old to the new, the better and somewhat funner it gets, but soon I won't even have a reason to go in there except for every couple of days.

that's a good thing so you can go in there just to look at them I love looking at mine I have a feeling your going to be a little more comfortable in your grow and your wallet im happy for you bud! :)

My goal is to run out of things to buy for the grow. I just ordered a flat mop and custodial broom. Still on the list is a new center fixture ($500), a floating snap together floor ($200), refrigerant and AC tools ($400) and 2 new carbon filters and fans ($300). After that, just watts and water I hope.

My friend, your garden construction is to be applauded. The plants look to be enjoying your care. Don't automate that part of the equation lest they miss your affections. Awesome job! I can see the Lowe's runs in my future LOL.
