Skottel Indoor Winter Grow With 3 Different Strains

Congrats on your harvest, Skottel. Have you made rosin before? Do you have a press?

I myself haven't made rosin before but I do have a friend with a press and already arranged with him for some rosin... :snowboating:

Well, I hope you have better luck with it than I did.

Hey guys!!! Damn its been too loooong. Just had a lot of s#&t last couple of weeks!! But things are turning a bit. So I have been neglecting my grow but still watered the girls.

Soooo the cheese has started showing sex and as always she is a female. These bloody seeds always amazes me as they are regular seeds I got from greenhouse buds we use to get from our friend and everytime I pop one of those seeds its been giving me some flower. I will be training her this weekend. Give her the love she deserves.

The hindu kush I have noticed is not a autoflower what they have advertised. We are at 3 months and no flowering yet. Only sex started showing. I have trained her a bit to get her stretched to the sides.

I am planning on getting the trelisnet on over the weekend. I will now shift my focus on growing them as photoperiod.

Hope everyone is still safe and healthy and don't have too much crap in their lives.

Stay safe all.

Welcome back brother. I have been wondering how and where you are! I'm glad to see your plants are coming along. Were they both supposed to be autos, or just the HKush? I hope you have an awesome weekend! Looks like more rain.

Hey Carmen. Yeah things were a bit hectic lately and we are only starting to get a grip on things. Just Hindu is a auto and the cheese is a regular that have never disappointed me and those seeds are 5+ years old. I will give the Hindu some time still. She is prob a late bloomer. She has been stretched to the sides a bit to open her up for a bushier grow. I'm just thankful that they are still growing. Don't matter if they take long as long as they don't die on me. Lol

Hello all,

So things are still a bit busy on my side but I am making a point of it to check in on my plants often. I haven't done much to them and especially over a weekend whereby I am also so friggin busy. I am going to make a point of it to invest more time and of course genuine love in to the 2 ladies. They have now shot out and seems like there is no end to it. I liky it alot. Lol. Planning on getting the trelis net up today to spread them out! Watering as per normal according to hashgirl's chart she provided.

Lots of healthy new growth there Skottelgoed. Looking good.
Thanks carmen, I have stretched the hindu a bit but want to get the net up so that I can get a wider canopy from her and the cheese

As Carmen noted, they are looking healthy. I look forward to their further progress!

Hey all, hope all is still safe and well.

Just a small update on my grow. So as most know we in South Africa has been having load shedding where our power producer can't provide us with reliable power because of poor maintenance on aging power stations and basically stole all the money that was meant for new stations. We are the only power producer company in the world where you pay more for less.

Anyway because of this the times for my whole grow is so messed up that I can't really put alot of love into my plants. I have decided the hell with it and today the trellis must go up whether its lights out or not as they have been growing taller now. I need to get the branches open for more light penetration to the lower nodes and also ofcourse to get a much bushier grow from them for maximum bud.
I am keeping to their water schedule as per normal. They are atleast still growing. By friday I want to give a polroper report on the girls.

Here are some snaps I took late last night before pulling the wifes car into the garage.

Ja boet. Not good times, that's for sure. I was reassured recently, that the vegging plants should be fine with loadshedding. They need uninterrupted darkness to flower so the on again off again electricity should be OK. I want to veg mine until end July. Not much time remaining, then allow the natural light cycle to bring them to harvest. We can do this!

My supposingly autoflower did not even started on flowering yet,. But did show some pistils on some of the nodes. I am hopeful that she will start flowering now. Its to damn cold now to leave the plants up to mother nature. Lol. Also I dont really have a proper window space for the plants to stand by to catch some sun. The house we living in is built very weirdly and we only really get sun in the house from spring to summer.

Despite the power issues, I think your plants look good. Which one is the auto and how old is it?

Thanks hash! The front one is the auto and they sprouted in April...

Hey hey all, I know i've been quiet here lately. Things are just a bit hectic at the moment. Busy with projects and then I still have after hours work to do as well. Also my wife work place got broken in about two weeks ago and its a place that both of us helped built up and saw it growing as the years were going and it was really a sad and emotional rollercoaster to see it get f... up in one foul sweep. So been busy trying to get her place up and running again.

So just a little update from my side on my grow. The Hindu that were advertised as auto is definitely not auto as it hasn't even started to flower and this plant is starting to die out, so its a bust with her. The cheese is the only plant that is still going strong and grow vigorously. I am putting my focus on her going forward. Luckily my friend started a grow and headshop in our town and he is stocking some grow stuff and also seeds. Already got a list of things to buy from him.
For now not much happening except for life. Lol. I will try and be more active on here from now on.

Hope everyone is still safe and blessed. :Namaste::peacetwo:

Hey hey all,

Update time. So the hindu kush im not even going to upload a picture of. She looks reall bad. The cheese however is actually still going strong for a plant that didn't get alot of attention over the few weeks. I have recently flushed both the plants with only clean water to remove any salt build up on the roots.

Watering schedule is still on course and I am still using the nutrifeed, kelpak and blackstrap molasses in the mix.

I will be clearing the plants from their dead leaves and also to make them look sexy again.
The cheese is finally in flower mode...
