Hey shotta congrats on kickin the nicotine me n mrs 801 quit in September 2010. I'm nowadays less risk of smoking illness but higher risk of heart atack having put 3st on lol
Shame how ur girls ended. Some nice photos though on last page. Fingers crossed ur current run is trouble free

Ps wen u think of having a cigarette..... Think of how much of a waste of time the week uv tryed for would be if u had a smoke. I still do 3 years later I'd love a ciggerete but I wil never smoke one again

Thank you alex. It is the best decision I have ever made. I cant stand the damn things for so many reasons one is my wife hated them and my daughter deserves a better smelling dad. and a healthier one too.

Congratulations Shottafire. I stopped smoking cigarettes in Feb 2013 and have not wanted a cigarette since. I am saddened when I think of how much i wasted on nicotine. It is not an easy task by any means however I am glad i stopped.

Yea crazy I no. Mrs 801 thinks the same thought of tobacco knocks her sick. Don't get me wrong I don't think about ciggeretes daily or crave them just now n again if I think about one I think hmmmm I could just murder a smoke. But I don't. Because the last 3 years would been a waste. Plus my daughter who gave me the push would be awfully dissapointed She came home from school.... Dad smoking does this to u.... U should stop please. So I did lol. Broke ass u should give it a better go for health if ur at all interested in being alive lol

Me and My missus have agreed to stop after xmas. as I'll have my magic butter up and going by then and either use that or my Iolite or simply a neat spliff of bud! I only smoke spliffs anyway never just tobacco, cant stand the taste of it on its own lol

Ha you Brits and mixing the goodness with the tabaccy! I hate mixing them. I don't even appreciate blunts. One or the other for me because I love the flavor of both, when well done. ie- A 10 year old Cuban puro or my properly grown/cured home grown.

No judging from me though as I smoked for 25 years 2+ packs a day and quit in 2005-06. I cant remember now. I can tell you they were $30 a carton when I quit and they are $45 now, so about that long ago. LOL. I loved everything about smoking except for killing myself. So they had to go. More life to sit on the porch old and grey with a doob o dank.

However even after all these years a random road trip I will go cigarette time, wait? WTF!

Never forget teams of scientists over the years made the tobacco industry wealthy while engineering a substance more addictive than heroin. So it isn't that we are weak it is that the science was so good as to get us to buy those 2 packs a day Philp Murris needed to pay stock holders.

When u speak of a carton of cigs are u referring to 100 or 200 cartons?
200 L&B here costs £80 sterling our taxation is quite crazy
Another reason to pack in and grow home meds and smoke straight

I don't think anywhere is worse than NYC! Fed tax, state tax, plus city tax. A pack of smokes here is anywhere between $11 & $13 & if your in a bar They could be as high as $15. INSANE this mayor is. This summer he was trying to pass a bill not allowing you to smoke in front of a place of business. Could you imagine in this city? You'd have to go home to smoke a cigg. Even if it would have passed it would've never been enforced. You can still smoke weed While walking without being harassed. Just don't blow it in a cops face.

While enjoying nature we came across a forestry ranger at the base of the trail, puffin on some "meds".
after the normal "this is good shit,,,,I remember this,,,,,,,,Back in the day " to "dude you are a federal ociffer and you blazzin like a pro"
to whitch he promply pulled out his "green card" and said "this is vermont, my nearest supervisor is 12 hours away,I DO WHAT I WANT"

I quit tobacco and use a vape. It's so much cheaper than smoking. I get like 2 weeks out of a bottle of juice that cost me less than $6 The really nice thing about it is...you dont feel like you have to finish a smoke, if you just want a couple puffs thats all you have to take and you dont smell like a dirty ashtray. Win win. I have no issue with being addicted to nicotine everyone is addicted to something, I had issue with everything else associated with smoking.

I was talking about 200 count cartons or 10 packs of 20 smokes. The summer I officially started buying smokes I was 16 and there was a two pack special for $1.50 so I paid $.75 a pack (cheating of course) Cartons of premiums were $12-13 per. 25 years later when I quit they were $33-35 a carton.

Curso you were probably never addicted to the nicotine. You were more likely addicted to the enginered group of chems added to the product for consumption. Proven to me by cigars, Which I always hated when I smoked because after I smoked a cigar that cost as much as a half a carton of cigs I immediately wanted a cig. I was like bs on that. However after a couple of years of not smoking cigs I was offered a cigar and I love them now. The flavor in them was never present with the dulled taste buds of a smoker. There is enough nicotine in a cigar to kill a man. Also with just the nicotine present in our cigars and now the vape juice, like you said We can smoke a little and not have another for a week, a month, no withdrawals etc. IMHO of course.

That was a very interesting response from him. You might have been in Vermont, but with his federal badge on, he was in his federal district. And federal law says that is a controlled substance.

Of course, I would have done as you did. If more federal officer thought that way we would have less problems.

KNOCK IT OFF!!! That's something that would of never been enforced anyway! I really believe Bloomberg thinks he's the mayor of another city. All this little quality of life b/s he keeps pushing; Not even the police pay attention to them & they're the ones who's suppose to be enforcing them.
