Sense Amelia's First Pop At Indoor Soil Grow

i dont use molases in my grows i have tested it with no real noticble results but i am already getting good sugar and carbo intake and use from the way i grow. i will be doing a study on it in the future but not too soon as this curent grow is for cross breeding and all my labs are reserved for it.
but
try it for sure and use it for sure. way too many people are doing it with sucess.
and with that many people haveing sucess i can recomend it. but when i do a test i do 2.
one to see if the claims are as noticble as said. if not i stop there.
and
one more if i see noticeble changes and good results.
it takes clones to do a test and do with and with out.
i got to be able to prove it if i am going to add it to my regimin.
thats why i say trim only if ya have too. train them is better.
but i am a big fan of sog and scrog for indoor.
and trelus for outdoor.
i would do a sow grow outdoor if i had space. 1/4lb buds but most people dont talk about sow grows.
it is a method to maximize top colas per cubic foot. they do it in india for hash production.
it is a sea of green method but totally controlled for max colas.
i have done it and it is by far the best way to get the most big buds and yeild from a space.
scrog and sog work well indoor and i have done sow inside just harder to controll inside. and 2 times the yeild outside.
works good for sativa when planting late.like mid june to july. plants stay shorter and fully mature at harvest. and only mains off each plant. all the sides are shaded from the closeness of the other plants. but reall big colas.
when i see pics of people who do outdoor big plants and have space i wonder why they didnt try sowing method.
cost of seed maybe. you need alot of seed. you want 100s of plants packed together. 10x10 works best with a fence[chicken wire small square.] feminizing your own seed would work great as in india they been feminizing for years.
as the plants grow you kill the tall growers at the soil by cutting the stem and let them die in place. you flood water the area and let the area dry after plants get about 1 foot high. then let them crowd each other all the way to harvest. they fight for space and explode to reproduce. they know they are close to each other so they act diferent. and i always picked when hairs and sun leaf changes useally around oct. depends on the strain. the tricome production is very high and the buds get really huge and they hold each other up a bit and the chiken wire keeps them compacted. you end up with huge main buds about 18inches to 2.5 feet and and dry weight is ozes to 1/4lb or bigger and fat as your leg.i plant green onion and mint with them at 12inches keeps the bugs away. and spray if i have to neem oil. i dont fert them cause the soil is 2 feet deep all rose bush mix. i dont trim at all. they go crazy being close . ill use lady bugs if afids attack. and a tomatoe leaf spray home made if anything else is around. tomatoe leaf spray is toxic. and dosent hurt the plants but kills just about everything. i put tea bags. diatmacius earth and lots of egg shells to when the onions and mint pop up behind the plants. earth bound bugs dont like diatom earth or tea bags. snails and slugs dont like egg shells. grass hoppers dont like garlic so gralic is grown in my whole yard . and borax is spred around the cement areas and walk way[ants roaches and beatles who dont fly hate borax .
but thats how it is done. in a big garden alot of plants we eat also benift growing next to each other. or not far away. i grow alot of stuff even basil is natural and keeps flys away.
cat nip too. nut where i live now bug controll and prevention a big problem here. so i have lots of stuff growing out door. and when my neighbor had problems and i didnt he wanted to know why. so now almost all my neighbors grow benificail plants. but this area has lots of people and lots of farms. so lots of bugs.

wow, thats almost a book

Sense

blackstrap is used to feed the soil...thats the whole deal in a nutshell

when you add it to your feeding program here is what your doing.

adding minerals to the soil.

adding carbs and goodies for the good critters in the soil (its these ikkle monsters that make our plant taste better, not the sugar in the molasses)

adding some chelating ability to the soil (makes loads of good stuff already in the soil or in the food easier for the plant to eat)

as far as im aware the idea of putting suger in your soil to directly get it into the plant is an incorrect myth.

I hope someone will correct me if this is wrong, but as far as i can see, there is no reason you cant add a little to every watering untill the day you chop it down =)

if your doing a living organic style grow, molasses has large benefits, if its a sterile and barren chemical grow then the benefits are greatly reduced.

Great looking girls Amelia!

oh and just for the record Sense.

i personally think diatomaceous earth is a dreadful risk.
from everthing i been reading about it...you may as well just sprinkle asbestos in your grow room as far as the amount of damage it can do to you if you catch any of the dust...and anyone that uses perlite can tell you about gardening dust, lol.

at the far end of the spectrum, breath a lungful of DE and your a dead girl walking...with no known cure.

You are going to have a great harvest!!
Oh my, I hope so! I am just counting down the days now... it's gone remarkably fast when you rewind, and consider I planted these seeds on 29th September :laughtwo:

If I was looking at a harvest like that, I might start chopping a few nugs to get me by until the big harvest is ready.
All I've had off it so far is a tiny popcorn bud which I dried out almost completely, but could not wait longer, and threw it into my pipe. Also, the 2 sugar leaves I took off to examine over last couple weeks both got rubbed into my gums and eaten up. :laughtwo:
Smoke a fatty for us at 420
Ooooh I sure will!! :circle-of-love:

Are you starting any seeds soon to keep things going?
Erm yes, just had some electrics done and now have opportunity to have T5 light in airing cupboard, so the next batch are gonna be the Critical sensi star. I have to get the timing right though, as we will be drying our harvest IN the tent itself. This will take between 5-7 days from what I hear.

While the drying is going on the new seeds can get popped, but like I said, gotta time it just right.

@gairbud, thanks for all the info. Wow... sow? I thought that was a female pig, I have lots to learn me thinks :laughtwo:

That makes sense Giga, nice one man.

Great looking girls Amelia!
Thanks TG!

God I've never even heard of it. I'll steer clear of that. I like my life. :circle-of-love:

Ah there he is!! How ya doin' my friend? Yep, I'm gonna push these bad girls as far as they can go, but you can see that they are reaching the end of their lives now. :morenutes:

So it seems like you are all organised! I have no exp. with clones as ya know.

I hope you get some big ol' heavy danky dank buds girl.....you deserve em
Oh what a nice thing to say. Thanks man!! *hug*

its a style of grow where you have soil and hydro combined a poor mans DWC
1 option is to take 2 two liter bottles and cut the bottom third of one off and the top third of the other. the one that the top was cut off becomes the resivour for the hydro portion. the other bottle with the top still attached is where you put soil and your plant.
folks take and drill many holes around the neck of the bottle and remove the lid. the roots grow down through the holes and feed off the water in the second bottle. there is a better exsplanation all over the site I am just giving a brief exsplanation

OK fishie, I get the picture now. Why the soil?

I rekon the soil helps balance the ph and its pretty much a givin that a soil grow is a higher Quallity grow for taste and smoothness

some of this is my speculation tho as I have not grown like this.

Yep yep, Like wine, I believe that the soil can be a huge factor in taste and smoothness. I'm using the acronym KISS for my skill level, and I'm keepin it simple til I'm not so stupid....thanks fishie!

I dont think that stupid is a good word brother. stupid is someone that wont listen to advice be it good or bad. so never say that you are or feel stupid. just asking questions proves that stupid and mcloadie are very far apart from each other:)

No soil in hempy.Check out 420fied journals great hempy see of green. He's getting ready to start another.Twelve twelve also has some hempy dwc he was working with. And nice grow sense.:thumb:
