Sense Amelia's First Pop At Indoor Soil Grow

Well my girls LAST watering was on 13th Dec. They have been drinking water every three days for ages. Yesterday (16th) they were due for watering, but still damnp, so I left it til today...but they are STILL damp. I'm not forcing anything down them, I have left them as they are, but my question is, is this normal for this stage of the grow? Is their soil simply exhausted and not able to hold as much water any more or ...is there an actual problem here? Thanks guys and gals.

do you notice if the pots are lighter or do you just go by what the soil feels like on top?

I didn't think to lift their pots! D'oh! I just stuck my fingers a good way down and each pot was damp, soil still clinging to my skin... thought "better leave 'em" I'll check their pot weight tomorrow. Thanks Fish.

Yeah fish is right. Pot weight tells the whole story.

Girls looking great now :Namaste: Im at same stage of you and GIGA now. Super soils and water throughout. Changing pot and soil on seed.veg.flower. Love soil hate coco, why suppliment everything in your grow medium and still only be giving cocos 20 elements MAX, when good soil mixes have 40+ elements present.

Hope all goes well to the end for you.

1more thing my GF a bong whore as much as I am lol. Sorry had to rub that 1 in :Namaste:

One slight draw back though, there is no one there to stop you smoking as much as you want!! Thats not always a good thing lol.

Money is the limit!!

Still waiting on these pics sense...

Finally got my laptop back, going to update my journal with some pics ive had waiting if you all want to see. :peace:

Could of sworn I posted pics a couple days back from 16th? Did you see those? Ahh blow it, here's a few more from today anyway. There won't be many more between now and harvest anyway I don't think.

Today, their soil was still a little damp, but their pots felt lightish so we watered them up with just molasses, no nutes. I might give them ONE more nutes hit and then knock it off I think. I cradled their buds/colas in my hands today, and they feel tougher, spikier, denser, more compact. So fucking STICKY. Their hairs are turning orange all over the place now. Looads of horrible yellow leaves, some to the extent of being brown at tips and crusty to touch, just fell off at slightest touch, others not so bad, but I removed a good handful. Around 19 or 20 days to go!

That's what I'm thinkin' mate, let 'em ride, despite the fact they are technically harvestable now.... I wanna see what else they can do in the time remaining. :cheertwo: Come on girlies, we will have you wearing the stretchy pants Fish bought you soon :laughtwo:

uh huh, hot, sweet, and sticky. So, what do you think of the molasses? I'm gonna stop when I flush and see if the taste is different. I will not smoke weed that makes me cough, I can't cough, it hurts me. My summer outside grow came out soooo exotic and smooth, I'm trying to recreate that old school colombian gold and red thing, that shit would knock the socks off alot of green weed I've smoked, and it tastes sooooo rich and full bodied, like a cuban cigar or an acid c-note cigar!

I LOVE the molasses, my girls sugar leaves are sparkling like thousand of shards of glass all over them. How long should I run with it now Mc? Should I keep using it til the end or knock it off when I knock nutes off? Thanks man.

Last time I used it in my last watering before harvest, they say its organic and OK, but I'm gonna cut it off for the rinse this time for a coupla plants and make a comparison. I know one thing, I didn't taste it when smokin, I can taste residue from chemicals a mile away! I grew starts for two other grows this summer, one guy used m/g, and that stuff is bad! Funny, the other grow ( bigger rookies than me) had a beautiful crop and they decided to keep a male and just move it abouth thirty yards away, 5lbs of seeds and alot of shitty brown weed! I told em to kill that thing, oh well. I got my share of seeds, all premium seeds crossed with bubblegum kush!
