I seem to remember from the signing the lease, he didn't even allow for an aquarium for fear of water damage...
But again, he has admitted to us as being his best tenants since he started property investments. He's among the best to rent from I could hope for. He gets the rent and doesn't ask for access unless it's per my request Or, for anual and semiannual inspections.
One inspection was 2 months before this grow; and the city's is next summer so by next years inspections, this (and the next) grow will be done before then. And if I'm still growing, I can hide all electrical and buckets from the inspector until he's gone. And if the odors are gone by then, they'll have no reason to open up the closet.
I feel like I'm a 15yo hiding my cigarettes from the mean old step-dad!
If this law was right back when I was a homeowner, I would have used cannabis for my pain and be swimming in a litteral S.O.G. - in the full basement, the upper apartment AND THE GARAGE!
