This is only a few of the branches, and all I can add is, ( you can't see the forest because of the trees) so many flowers are hiding near big leaves at anygiven angel. I don't think color pics will do better unless in real daylight.
I tried to get better pictures with window light. My camera can't display it as it really is. It's way too big and heavy to take outside.
Maybe only a video would show how prolific these flowers really are. Can we post video here? I have an app called Vimo but haven't tried it yet. I'll try to learn it later.
Looks like "at least" 80 to 100 flowering nug's...
Maybe topping this thing (twice) wasn't a total fuckup after all. Topped once on purpose and once accidentally when a light fell on one of the top branches (that one will cost me some weight, for sure)...
I think I'll try to stop manhandling this thing for the sake of recording in depth pictures. I'm clumsy and new at this, and I have done this plant enough harm already!!!!!!
Hi warez, I have been reading your journal and your questions remind me of my own as I was going through my first grow a few months ago. You're lucky to have Penny helping you, he has helped me enormously. I'm growing in a closet as well and found a carbon filter/fan almost completely eliminates the odour. It just exhausts into the room as I can't get to a window but it is not a problem. The exhausted air is clean. I have a 4" filter but I would recommend a 6" as the lowest setting on 4" is still kind of noisy. This kit has everything you need: 6 Inch Carbon Filter Kit. It is worth it for your peace of mind.
Ozone generator would be cool if it works, I like the price! Regarding carbon filters, I don't think the one I pointed to is actually the one I meant, you need a kit with a fan speed controller. Mine also came with ducting and clamps but I would love not to have to use it at all if that ozone generator pans out.
My biggest concern is a landlord that (as great as he is) may disapprove of this activity. It's legal but he is the owner and I want my stuff to stay private and concealed, but that smell is too strong to hide behind closet doors...
After this plants lease is up and, Once 3 or 4 get going the smell will need serious technological help... fans will just be more for fresh air and heat dispersal.
If you missed my information about my electrical draw concerns, I have upwards of 1000 watts of draw on a single (cheapO, 25 cent) outlet, AND a bit past its limit now, so an upgrade will be needed before adding another appliance.
If it works as planned, the battery operated, gravety fed, automatic watering system will only need the nutrient feeder bucket to be replenished every 4 to 6 days. My landlord always gives me at least 2 or 3 days notice only if he has a reason to visit and why. So one (or even 2 plants outside can be easily hidden, and he gives me relative privacy in my domicile.
