Seedsman Sponsored Grow: Peyote Wi-Fi By Beez

Back on Jan. 7th I dusted the buds on two lower branches on one of the Peyote Wi-Fi branches with pollen from a reversed Jellium plant. I admit I did a half assed job and was sloppy with the pollen so I'll have more seeds then I wanted and they won't just be where I wanted them. But that said, at just 12 days after pollination the plant has already produced full grown, large healthy looking seeds. Obviously nowhere near mature, but for me it's always exciting to see seeds developing like this.

I picked out a bud near the top of the Peyote Wi-Fi plant growing in organic soil and gave it a squeeze. On a bud density scale from 1-14 with 14 being rock hard I would say the bud I squeezed would fall at about an 8 or 9 on that scale. The bud was not airy as @InTheShed has stated. ;) But they are not rock hard either. I expect/anticipate/hope that they firm up over the next 4-5 weeks they have left to grow.

It never occurred to me to have a scale based on a fortnight!
It never occurred to me either. I was winging it! Just made it up! :)

I kept looking at my beautiful Alien OG plant and watching her stretch closer and closer to the light. As strongly suggested by @InTheShed I decided to give supercropping the whole plant a go. So without further ado here is my Shed inspired, butchered Alien OG plant.

If @InTheShed Can they still be bent at this point and produce more bud sites?

Yes I've bent plants in full on flower. Looks like your all over the bending thing.

When I supercrop I usually tie the branch back to itself with a wire tie to keep it from going back to its original shape which they can do overnight.

Here's what they look like on the trim table. I bent this branch with about 10 others at close to 40 days post flip. The flowers just turned toward the light and fattened up.

Well I snapped/bent one of the branches on this Alien OG plant the night before last and noticed that the branch was hollow and very easy to snap/bend. And today, two days later it's not trying to stand back up but the end is bending back up towards the light.

Is it just me or do those Jellium x BCP seeds look huge?

that’s interesting and good to know that super cropping is possible that late into flower. Do you still pinch it till it’s soft? Won’t the stems be hard and lignified?

I snapped a photo today of the Peyote Wi-Fi growing in my organic soil. She is at flip +36 days today. I shielded the light so you could see the actual colors better. I will be mixing up some ACT tomorrow and letting it bubble for a day and feed her some.

She's coming along. I've been trying to pull the tallest colas away from the light a little. They're getting too hot as you can see with the taco'd leaves.

Very cool looking plant. They look great. The combination of shape, frost, and colour could make for some cool closeups.

That leaf response doesn't look too bad considering the late phase of flower. Pretty plant.
Thanks @UrbanAchiever I'm thinking she's about 1/2 way through flowering based on how she looks but more importantly based on the PWF that @CrazyChef is growing. Seedsman says 75 days of flowering. I'm not sure she's going to take that long.

@ChefDGreen neither of them look that frosty under the light. If I think of it tomorrow I'll grab a photo of the ProMix plant taken the same way as the one above where I shade the light.

Thanks for the mention, but I'm still a novice grower - I wouldn't base any decisions on what I'm growing. But I can tell you that the trichomes on the calyxes on mine are still not showing any amber yet. I'd say they're about 85/15 cloudy/clear right now. A perfectly respectable smoke, but not at their full potential yet. Plus, I want to see just how beefy I can get the buds to be. They're at 65 days since flip to 12/12, and 57 days into what I consider actual flowering (when the first pistils start to show).

Here's a close up from yesterday:

So maybe yours will make it the full 75 days @CrazyChef . And looking at your plants I'm not at all hesitant to watch your grow and expect mine to be similar. You've got some beautiful plants.

I just snapped a few pictures of different buds on the Peyote Wi-Fi being grown in ProMix and being fed MC nutrients at the rate of 1tsp/gallon. She is receiving one gallon of water/nutrients every other day and will continue to do so until she slows down her drinking. This is the Jellium pollen seeded plant.
