Seedsman Sponsored Grow: Peyote Wi-Fi By Beez

If @InTheShed has his arrows pointing to the plant in the right rear that is the long noded Jellium plant. All the clones grow that way which is why I'm crossing the Jellium with a few different strains to see what comes of the offspring. The two towers are 25 days post flip and already pollinated. Can they still be bent at this point and produce more bud sites?

If? I thought those arrows were pretty specific :cheesygrinsmiley:.

Those belong to the 3-fingered Jellium, I can see that now. Bending them at this point won't get you more budsites, but it will flatten the canopy and could add bulk to the buds on the bent stems. The knuckling formed at the site of the bend seems to increase the amount of nutrients that can make it to the buds above it.

If those are seeded buds then I would just be concerned about making sure they don't burn, as bulking isn't the goal for them.

Nope, those are not seeded buds. The seeded buds are on the sister plant growing alongside the taller one in question.

What I obviously failed to successfully communicate was that the advice in paragraph 2 of my post stands.

Sometimes my shorthand only works in my own head...

I haven't been around for a while guys but I had to drop by to show beez some of his beans being grown over a friends.

GG#4 real sticky, a little short, very cloudy for 8th week

SDHA x GG 1 nice long full colas, sticky very cloudy for 8th week, totally different than the SDHA x GG 2 but both look like good producers.

SDHA x GG 2 very cloudy for 8th week, lots of nanners but no hermie.

Hey @Hash Hound I'm really loving the SDHA X GG4 #1 plant. I hope he got a cut off it? That looks like a real good expression of both strains. The Sour Diesel Haze auto I grew gave me 4oz. which for me is a lot from an auto I grew. When I ran into @Van Stank I gave him some sample buds to try of the SDHA and he really enjoyed it. Said it was one of the best sativas…………...oh heck I don't remember exactly but he liked it a lot. The GG#4 plants don't get very (at least for me) get very big but they sure do get frosty and sticky. I was hoping a cross of the two would produce a high yielding hybrid with sticky, frost covered buds.

SDHA X GG4 I wouldn't run again if given a choice between the two. Now I'll be dying for a smoke report!

unfortunately he didn't and neither did I. But we still have a few more seeds to try.
How long did you let your GG and the SDHAxGG flower?

Well @Van Stank has proven to me that it's never too late to take a cutting off a plant, so if it's still alive grab a cutting, cut off the buds carefully leaving the leaves in place and then treat it like any other cutting.

Now I have not yet grown a SDHA X GG4 nor has anyone else that I'm aware of making you guys the first. My GG#4 plants I ran for 70 days post sprout and the Sour Diesel Haze auto plants went 87 days from sprout. I would suggest starting to take test nuggets when it's starting to look close and do so every 3 days till you harvest the plant. Let the testers dry and cure for 3 weeks and then compare them. That should give you a harvest time for future plants if you grow more.

@InTheShed I got daring last night and bent one of the two tall Jellium stalks. If it doesn't die I'll do the other one.

So Kismet, were you flowering those strains together and found a few seeds on each plant? Do you think one threw some pollen and knocked up all the others with the seeds?
Not sure if it was left over pollen from my last carnival run or had a fem gorilla lilly that came in male.So not sure what hit them but yah they got pollinated early in flower so curious . I try not to super crop after week 4 in flower. Seems to stress them out. Tend to do most of that in veg. Just a gentle bend to make them grow where i want the branch to go. With clones i don't super crop at all.

@Kismet Here is my pitiful seed haul for the fall/early winter. I reversed both a Black Cherry Punch and a Jellium to make S1 Jellium and BCP seeds and a few Jellium X BCP cross seeds. Enough seeds to play with but not a lot to share with everyone I would like.

Now I did use the leftover Jellium pollen to pollinate a few buds on one of the Peyote Wi-Fi plants. I also dusted a dozen small buds on a Jellium plant I am flowering. The pollen was still good and these two pollinations should give me a nice number of seeds.

You know I honestly don't know @Kismet . I resist the urge to squeeze the buds until the plants are about a week away from harvest. I might pinch a bud down at the bottom that will be larfy just to get a an idea of the terpenes. Looking at them though I believe they will get pretty dense. They don't look fluffy now but don't look dense either. They are afterall only at flip +34 days. Maybe for science I can break my habits and pick out a bud to squeeze and see where they're at. Seedsman states in their description that flowering is 75 days. I'm not seeing that and am anticipating 9 weeks/ 63 days ish.

Also, Seedsman says that the scent is sour lemon/lime with diesel notes. Well I feel qualified to say that's not what I picked up on the Wi-Fi in the ProMix. It smells like they say it tastes, of fuel, diesel, and earth. I like it. I'm not smelling any lemon or lime. Maybe further into flowering?

I bent the other two main stalks of the Jellium plant that was probably going to reach the light.
