Seed Madness Medical Grow by The Butcher

Re: Seedmadness Medical Grow by The Butcher

I'm curious to see how well the germ numbers are with the lavender. I have heard they don't like to pop. It will be good to see first hand. Best of luck with the grow.

We'll have to wait and see what happens. Thats actually great you mentioned it, now we can see if its Fact or Fiction. No matter the outcome, at least we'll see the result within the next 48 hours.:yahoo:

Butcher
Gl with all the new babies you will have your hands full.Hope to see some nice pics in a few weeks. This will be fun to watch and a damm long harvest you will be trimming for a month lol.

Re: Seedmadness Medical Grow by The Butcher

Bummer guess Seedmadness ran out of a bunch of strains...I was interested in seeing your Cheese...oh well.

Good Luck.

I know GHS was out for a while, so that would have not only put Seedmadness out but other vendors as well. And hey 9 out of 12 of the best strains in the world is (((GREAT))). IMHO its nothing short of a blessing. :thanks: If and when it comes available I will do what I can to add it to the mix. :ganjamon:

No joke, your completely right ! With a variety of finishing times,
I'm guessing starting at about week 8, all the way through week 12 would be about right. So yeah your spot on, 1 month indeed. I love trimming so its all good. :yahoo:

Re: Seedmadness Medical Grow by The Butcher

i just got email from Seedmadness half price on 10 big bud fems. for one wk.

Hope your ready for some massive colas. Trust me, that strain will push the limits on what a branch can hold. May not be insanely potent, but the yield definitely makes up for it. Don't get me wrong BB still puts out some Potent meds, but its completely overshadowed by the size of here colas.

Re: Seedmadness Medical Grow by The Butcher

That was my question on the BB. They said it was not a killer stone but you are right, sometimes quanity trumps quality when the difference is that much. At one point I was going to grow them out hoping for males for a cross.

I'm curious with what you can do with the Sensi Jack Herer. Got my fems from marijuana-seeds.nl and not sure what breeder they use. I'm doing them rookie soil grower style! Don't think I have made a mistake yet but I will! LOL!

Re: Seedmadness Medical Grow by The Butcher

thanx for reply butcher. ive been reading they get massive yields.i didnt order but was thinking like mostly crazy said about growing a few out and crossing them. right now i have 2 super lemon haze and 1 super critical haze. depending on how they turn out maybe cross one with a big yielder like bb or nl.

I'm sure they'll be fine. Either way as long as you take the extra cuttings, you get to play mad scientist all you want. And do growers love playing mad scientist. :)

As for the males, I will be growing them out, once suitable males have been chosen. I will Bonsai the males till flower, then pollinate lowers to ensure I can save the genetics for future grows. Some cross breeding as well, but that will be for the breeding thread. As for the breeding itself, BB will be great to use. Hopefully get some great crosses coming out of the batch, however most of them have been done already. For instance the Hash plant x Big Bud Sensi has done, that along with BB x Jack Herer. Most of them have already done by all the great Seed Companies. But it will be nice to even have the chance to do them myself....eventually that is.

Should be fun no matter what happens, I'm working on the ducting system right now, just got a new squirrel cage fan for the room as well. I like using them for airflow into the room, cheap and effective. Recently I purchased an in-line fan as well, this sill be used for any long runs of ducting. It was the best 40 bucks I've ever spent. That in use with a great junction box for air flow should dial in the room with no problems...(((HOPEFULLY))) :ganjamon:

Those 2 strains with the BB would be some heavy hitters FOR SURE. The right BB male theoretically should instill some great qualities in both the CH and SLH. I'd love to see some of that breeding. Definitely got to let us all know if you do, that should be some great genes produced. :bravo:

Re: Seedmadness Medical Grow by The Butcher

Butcher
The problems we had with the different strains was growth.some of the strains stretched and other didnt. It was like a circus act with the lights everyday it was something new.also some plants reacted different then others to nutes. so it was another problem to over come.we had to feed some heavy others we needed to work abit softer. It was like jumping threw hoops everyday.I have learned my leason and look at the CM of each strain now try not to go over 80 cm.I just dont have the head room for it.hope you have better luck and can keep the supercrop to a min.

Re: Seedmadness Medical Grow by The Butcher

You and I both, yeah the super cropping is going to be a last minute thing. I will be topping a necessary along with LST'n. I completely agree aas far as the difficulty part of growing different strains go. Thanks to the DWC buckets each of them will get babied. To help with the stretch when I placed my order for the cool tube, I had my buddy get the one with no reflector built in. That way if they go above the light, I will take the wings off the cool tube and let the light hit them up there as well. Or so the plan is, but as we all know, plans don't ever seem to work..

Re: Seedmadness Medical Grow by The Butcher

your going to have to take some good notes on your feeding to see what they all can take.your going to need an assistant lol.ill come over give you a hand get your lab coat on.you can call me igor :)

Re: Seedmadness Medical Grow by The Butcher

I'm using a squirrel cage for exhaust (250cfm) and the door cracked just a little with a fan blowing in does the trick for intake. Well, that and me taking a peek about 10x a day!

You're right! Mad scientist tend to flock to growing weed! LOL! So many variables. I'd flow chart it but I don't have the wall space! LOL!

Yeah I definetly am going to have too. I think I will take note then post them weekly to help keep the work load down. As for the lab coat, I have a some put away from the slaughter house, that along with some great knives for trimming.. Team Pit is always welcome to the Killingfloor.

I know what you mean looking in the room 10x's a day. Hell even with the flowering room still under construction I'm still opening it 10 x's a day

Re: Seedmadness Medical Grow by The Butcher

After your posts about the Big Bud, I did some checking and found a Northern Lights x Big Bud strain. Just put it my list to try. Huge colas and the extra kick of NL, should be interesting to smoke. :)

Re: Seedmadness Medical Grow by The Butcher

Heres a link to all of Seedmadness Big Bud Crosses. They too have the Northern Lights x Big Bud along with a (((TON))) more crosses that are commercial grade. Heres the link:

Re: Seedmadness Medical Grow by The Butcher

OK so heres a lil update, with the new room had to come a new fan set up. So to help take this grow to the next level I am currently designing/building a new fan housing that will completely kill any sound from the in-line fan. After construction is complete and sound testing is done, I will post a how to on the construction of it. I am attempting to make it a simple as I can, that way anyone can build it. Once complete the link will be posted here, the thread will be in 420 Magazines D.I.Y section. It will be GREAT for anyone who lives in an apt's or if you simply have neighbors close by. Stay tuned :reading420magazine:
