Looks great lady.. plants look alot better and such .Good morning. I hope everyone is doing well….
Nothing really to post new. I’m not sure what is going on still with Pineapple Express. But I’m just letting it go. My only feeding is compost tea made with compost, Earthworm castings, fish kelp, kelp meal, molasses, and the leaves still look rusty. I tried cal/mag. I ph tested the soil, I tested the run off everything came up good. So I’m just leaving it until it’s time to chop. My blue dream is in flower and I successfully cloned 3 out of five cuttings from it. And my gsc is doing great. Albeit very slow, still great!
Thanks. I’m figuring it out maybe?????Looks great lady.. plants look alot better and such .
Tap waterOk so good photos they're clear as my mind after the first toke... But it does look like calcium deficiency....but I also potassium could also cause similar looking issues.
Are you using filtered water or tap? I was reading that most tap water has enough calcium in it to prevent calcium problems.
Some tap water has enough minerals in it. Depends where you live. You can typically get a report from the municipal web site to show you what's in the water as well as what they use for making it safe to drink. Some use chlorine only but more and more are using chloramine. The latter doesn't evaporate as easily as chlorine so for an organic grow just leaving an open container sit overnight isn't sufficient to get rid of the stuff that can interfere with the microbes.Tap water
But the "let it sit out to evaporate" strategy doesn't work for chloramine as it does for chlorine. So it's best to know what you have if you're going to use tap water.Leave tap water out open top for about 24 48 hours . Before use alot of them chemicals will evaporate . And that's a good thing
If ingot chromium in your water. U got cancer.. big court battle over all that in 80s. I'm sure u want find it in water anymore.. but yeah some chemicals don't react well with things but for most part it be fine just let som of the clorine disapate is a must. But the "let it sit out to evaporate" strategy doesn't work for chloramine as it does for chlorine. Happy 420 LisaHappy 4/20 everyone! Hope everyone is well and everyone had a peaceful weekend. I just have a few updates I’m coming into week 12 of Pineapple Express auto. Not sure why the hell it’s taking so long but it is.
Blue dream is in week 12 also, week two of flower and GSC is in week 12 and still vegetative . Had tons of things with that one. I also have 3 blue dream clones in week two of soil. And I popped a pineapple kush last week so it’s in 1st week of germination/seedling…
So as to not be confusing... chlorine does and will kill microbes, and that is the reason it is added to our tap water. Although it would take swimming pool concentrations of chlorine to quickly kill all the microbes, there is indeed a negative effect from applying tap water. When using tap water and not resupplying new microbes, eventually you can kill all microbial life in your soil. Luckily, by adding Geoflora every two weeks, this regular input of new microbes, and the ability of the nutrient to supply more every time you water, is more than able to keep up with those microbes that are being killed off by the small amount of chlorine in your tap water. Not chromium, chloramine. It's used instead of chlorine in water treatment.
According to GeoFlora's post here, neither of the two will have a negative effect on bacteria in the growing media with standard tap water.
Hahahahaha. Yep that’s rightGreat looking plants, @Lisa2265 !
Weird leaf structure on that one in the back corner. Kind of like a geranium.
I may have learned a few things from you! Thank you !Happy 420 Lisa
