Second Grow Ever!

One thing about this Hempy cloning method is that it produces water roots which are different from soil roots and air roots. Probably not much of an issue as the plant can adapt fairly quickly
That's not a problem I've seen. I took this one out of perlite on Saturday:

Any particular brand on this one? Maybe a big steaming pile of something out the local horse barn? I need a little more guidance here.
Har! Check in with the person who wrote it. ;)

Good morning everyone! Well I’m at a cross roads. I think I’m losing my PE due to cal/mag deficiency. I know because the stems are purple/red and that’s a total cal/mag problem! I just watered it with cal mag 2 tblsp for 2 gal water at 6.4 ph. My blue dream looks ok - the GSC well she is great. I hope I can bring this girl back to health. It’s so upsetting. I hadn’t watered her all week and my meter said she was dry. Any advice, should I give up I mean she is in flower and was doing wonderful! So sad! If there is anything I can do please share.thanks in advance. Not a good grow.
Oh and I got them into a bigger set up. They were too crowded in my 3x3.

A cal-mag issue shouldn't be causing the droop. Are they now getting enough water? @Emilya says in her How to water a potted plant thread that the wet dry cycle is important in veg to build a good root structure, but that you want to use that root structure in flower to shove as much water at them as they'll take. I think she says she only lets them go dry every fourth watering, or something.

A nutrient deficiency should cause color or spotting issues on the leaves, but not a whole plant response like you're seeing there. That would suggest to me it's more of a root issue. But that could simply be be that the roots aren't getting enough water to supply the super structure of that which is above ground.

So, are they getting enough water do you think?

Yeah so I backed off the water issue when I first dated noticing the leaves. And then there was a discussion that I may have been watering to much. So I backed off. I bought a water meter so I had some idea of the water becasue I’m in 10 gals pots, it’s a bit much to lift them to check. So this is where I’m at. I just watered about 2 gals. Maybe 1 1/2 gal and then just let it be. This all happened once I got back from vacation. They were fine for 5 days. I watered them until runoff before I left then when I can back I watered them a bit the first day and abut the second day and then started running into problems. Now here I am .

I am always looking for suggestions!:p
Seriously I've only cloned two times.... But literally all I did was cut piece....trim stem at 45° angle.... Put honey on the cut end...poke hole in soil with pen/pencil...put clipping in and water...voila....all mine survived but they were of the finicky clone I had so I scrapped them all, Plus honey is a natural antibacterial, antiseptic, and antifungal so it does wonders.(also a ton of studies on this)

This is the only method I've tried as fyi but I don't think you can get similar than this.

I am a vegetable gardener so when I first saw them this morning, it look like they were lacking water. Aside from the cal/mag issue. So I’m hoping the water with the cal/mag added is enough to bring it back to where it needs to be. I’m really going to try a hands off approach next round. So I just want to try and get the best soul mix and then plant. Hands off.

I just did a big defoliation on my my blue dream. The stems were very flimsy and it was so bushy and jammed into the tent that the fan was not able to even move them. Lots of very thin stems down below. So it’s trimmed up nice, fertilized and watered. Let’s see what tomorrow brings.. with me luck.. I’m going to need it and since I am struggling I’m popping another one or two seeds.. let’s see how this goes..
