Second Grow Ever!

Sometimes it can be things other than a deficiency, like an excess of something else that's locking out a nutrient, or worse a root rot problem that is not allowing the roots to continue to feed the plant, so your pics might help diagnose the issue.

That little one looks much better. Nice new growth with normal looking leaves. Good job on the save! And to think Shed wanted you to toss it.
Great save! It doesn't actually change my opinion though. Given the completely different sizes, the small tent, and the long veg of the BD, this smaller one is going to get in the way of the BD's best and highest production when it's time to flip. With another place to put it it's a definite keeper.

But like I said, that's just me.

Yeah so I do have another place for the little one that I saved. I think I have it all worked out. Here are some pics of my PE auto

No, you got the main point right. But, she did learn some things along the way to help with diagnosing things next time. That was more of what I was saying.

She likely could have maxed out better had she gone that route, but would have been less likely to recognize the issues next time. This round, she saw how a smaller pot actually helped her water better and not drown the plant.

So, let's just say we were both right. ;)

Sounds great! And it definitely made a terrific comeback. :thumb:

LOL! It looks fine now so it was definitely not on death's door with the right care. :welldone: My reasons for tossing it were more situational.

Yes I did learn a lot. And yes maybe you were both right!

I mean I have to say she looks beautiful. I am going to wait another few days then transfer her to her final pot and put her in her space to just grow until I’m ready to flip her.

I'm guessing it's missing a whole bunch of vital nutrients since Big Bloom has very little and fish kelp is probably mostly nitrogen. I'm not sure what the lobster shells are for though...calcium? Was this designed as a mostly water-only organic soil grow?
Yes

Well, calcium in addition to nitrogen, and maybe a bit of K as well. That suggests to me it is hungry, not single nutrient deficient, or a lock out.

I still want to know if it is surprisingly light when you pick up the pot before you water it. Trying to fix a nutrient issue will be more difficult without good roots.
