Scroggin In The Greenhouse Blueberry OG Kush, WW, Scooby Snacks #1

I wonder if my citric acid spray helped keep the botrytis away this summer! It shows up in a quick Google search of both terms. I was just using it for PM.

I try not to spray oils on my pistils if I can help it.
That’s awesome if it helped, I know it’s been a lifesaver for me.
The bud rot on this one is a localized, likely insect related single bud.
The stuff I used this time is a light mix of the garlic oil and the citric acid water. I definitely avoid oil on the pistils this close to finish if I can, but around this rotted one most of them are already red. They may have already been affected by the mold- I trimmed the big part away and sprayed the rest. Kind of watching that whole branch since the pistils look suspect, it may get washed/dried early and go straight into the press ;)

cider vinager is considerd oily or did i misunderstood the shed?

Hey man I’m bummed about the PM and bud rot. I don’t even know what to say :passitleft:
When this is over....I'm gonna have a good stash. That's all I can think of...lol. I just gotta stay on it. I love the free light but I hate not having control of the environment.

Vinegar is not oily. Makes a great laundry detergent. I think he's just referring to something like a neem oil or the garlic oil. I'd never heard of using garlic oil till @13goody13 mentioned he uses it. Man i learn shit on here erday...lol

vinager is great for red wine on white clothes or carpet :blunt:

Jim's Jungle Update

It has been a struggle the past few weeks. Bud rot, powdery mold, bugs, heat, and humidity but in the end I think I'm going to end up with a nice stash.

Scooby Snacks #1
I have three of these left and they are moving right along. If all goes well I should get a nice harvest from them. The girl on the left got her stem split on 9/3 and she is trying her best to catch up to her sister who had her main stem crushed back on 8/6.

The other SS is doing fantastic so far. It was spike on the 23rd as well. Kicking into overdrive now.

Onward to the Blueberry/Kush
This is the one I almost gave up on but she recovered and appears like she will finish before any of her sisters. She was spiked on 8/23 and has blown up. I'm very pleased with her progress and I imagine she will ripen within the next 3 weeks.

The other Blueberry/Kush are in different stages of flower. Some seem to be faster than others and all show differences. This lady here is darker in color than all the others and the second slowest of the group in flower. I think she is doing well and has adjusted since being removed from under the screen.

The next one is lighter in color and is a little ahead of the darker one. She's pretty bushy.

Onward to my tall lanky skinny girl. This lady seems to have sativa coming out of her. She's way behind all the others. Has long lanky stems that are slowly filling in. Its one of the tallest in the batch of bb/k and I'm hoping she fills in those long legs.

This is another lighter colored one. She's recovered well and is one bushy girl. Since her spike on the 23rd shes really taking off.

My last BB/K girl is over in the corner. She's the tallest of the whole gh and from the looks of her she's going to produce a lot of bud.

White Widows
These two appear to be flowering at the same pace and are doing well. I've noticed more yellowing on these than any of the others in the gh. I boosted their N just a little and they seem to have greened up a little more. I'd made an error on feeding. I am not used to the FF nutes and when I started feeding for flowering I overlooked the fact their flowering nutes need to have the Grow Big included. Most flowering nutes I've used have a little N in them but with the FF ya gotta keep adding the N till later in flowering. These errors wouldn't happen if I'd just pay more attention...lol.

This is the one near finishing. Also the one who developed a little bud rot the other day. Since then I've removed the damaged area. I don't see any more damage on the buds and I've got my fingers crossed they will make it a few more weeks to harvest.

Clones
These were all planted on 8/10 and in the month since have taken off. There are a few that didn't take off but the majority of them has. A few are 3ft tall and all are developing some nice flowers.

Said most of us

I tend to think those errors make long lasting memories and are really great lessons for the rest of us watching your greenhouse experiments.

The all look nice & happy! Seems they really perk up after a spike driven into their stem, I never would have dreamed... keep them coming!

The house is packed Jim! Looking pretty good with the scoobies! That white widow looks pretty chunky too!
Thank johnny, I'm impressed with the Scooby Snacks so far. The two that hermies was a bummer but that's growing. I like it enough to grow out the ten remaining seeds next year. I'll get a much earlier start next year. It should be a pretty mind numbing indica strain.

Thanks konks, always happy to share my errors with the community..lol. If we all had perfect grows this place would be pretty boring...lol
The stem splitting continues to impress me. Not only are the buds getting larger fast. They may even finish a little faster. Next year I plan on doing more experimenting with this in the veg stage. Early and late flowering as well.

Doing a hell of a job koolaide man! Aside from the PM and Bud rot the plants look healthy and happy. You’re gonna have a righteous yield man!:passitleft:
Thanks man. I hope to have a lot less next year but this year is a build the stash year. I'm planning some changes which will give me more room. So maybe what I just said is bullshit... No playing with screens next year. It's trees or large shrubs.

The Celt is killing it outdoors in the heat so it sounds like a good idea.

Also like the idea of scaling down the grow while expanding. Well done :bravo:

The view from my gh chair is getting bushy n buddy. Surprisingly the odor stays pretty contained so far. Notice the clones in the back right. Some are as tall as the Widows. They started flowering the day I pulled them out of the clone machine and planted them. They should finish nicely in the 2gal bags.
