Scroggin In The Greenhouse Blueberry OG Kush, WW, Scooby Snacks #1

Spent a few hours out in the gh today doing some much needed trimming. Removed a lot of the lower growth on two of the bb/k. Still got a few more to go but at least these two should be good to harvest with plenty of airflow and no small growth to waste energy on.

Yeah man, been smokin them larfs lately and getting one hell of a buzz. I refuse to buy any more herb so I'm pickin n a smokin for now. Between this stuff and the leaf I've collected during the flowering stage I'll have some nice butter soon. I'd never heard the term larf. Maybe it wasn't a word when I quit growing...lol Anyway, thanks for sending me on a google search Shed...lol.
 
I always figured it was a bastardized mashup of "lower fluff" or something. Let me know if you find the derivation!

Nothing at all but if I can get bigger bud at the top why let the plant waste energy with the little stuff. Typically you do the same thing with a scrog grow. Helps ventilation through the canopy and helps the plant grow up top where it counts. Up there where the bigger popcorn buds grow...lol.

Another more important reason is the conditions I'm growing in. High heat n humidity. It's still 89 here and when I step outside my glasses fog over...lol. Now, I'm looking at a hurricane breaking up through my area...Ughhhh...So, any defoliation or thinning I can do only helps keep away that dreaded pm or bud rot.

Another google search..derivation...lol. Ya know some of us stoners just don't have the vocabulary of others... :rofl: Because I like butter for baking. I've always just called it "Gold".

Excellent news. The hurricane is going to swing NE so maybe I'll be spared the damp days of rain. Also, the ten day forecast has two days of a high of 85 and lows in the 50s. :woohoo: Usually this brings milder humidity. My girls need a break from that to know down the chances of the dreaded bud rot. Finally good growing days ahead.
