I like your training! It looks like that nugget is floating! Lol. I like planting mystery seeds. I got a pill bottle full from a old head. No clue what stains but they are old and hard to germ. Hopefully there are some good ones!for back in the day. Who knows what they will be. Dude is like 65 and he gave me a pill bottle full and a little dip can full of seed he said his wife had from her first husband. I didn’t know him but hopefully he was a picky smoker. Cross you fingers.Okay so a very late update, had a broken, still have a broken tibia, but been trying to walk yesterday and transplanted them plants into there 5 gallon homes. I mixed in three parts perilite to seven parts hp promix yesterday.
Fed them to run off, ec is 612 and ph at 6.8 at run off. Photo of run off nute water.
So what I did after mixing up all the soil was waters the soil down like 3 or 4 times the containers size in this nute water over and over again. Put the plant in and water down 2 more times all the way through. Took forever to do with a broken foot. But should be better in two more weeks hopefully.

And then there’s this hydro baby, nine weeks old finally growing normally woot
And then there’s my new flower plant. At idk lost track of time four weeks ago with my grow journals with my inability to walk.
but I am guessing she be 4 weeks into flower by now though lol so another 4 to go probably let’s call her week 14 should be a sibling to the previous dispensary sativa dom hybrid I harvested last month. So I’m like this one for sure.

and two more seeds that got put in soil today, they were showing tap roots. One is a girl scout cookies Bastard and the other a blue dream bastard lol. You know in the term that it is a blue dream, but not purely blue dream. Think game of thrones here.as John snow I guess is a stark bastard. And look how great he turned out. So these are my John snows lol.
What do you think @MrSauga and everybody else who cares to visit this journal.
boy four weeks is quite awhile. I gotta be more careful not to hurt myself again. Sucks having to rely on others for stuff like a glass of water and a plate of food. Pathetic.
and my plants got neglected. But looks like they fared it pretty well.

Oh yeah, I’d say there’s a good chance that they all can’t be crap. Probably the other way around.Just interesting tryna figure out the indica or sativa ness of the plant is pretty fun thing to think about as you see how different traits show up when tending the lil garden. Training is fun. I like how un natural it is to see a plant in this form.

male update, signs of yellowing not to worried will see how it progresses before I worry.

Looking very healthy to me. Starting to pick up it’s growth too. Woot.
The female c99 also picking up woot I guess the kratky method be doing something good.
and the other male outdoors. Still kicking I guess here he is. I think he is dying. So idk it’s whatever. Maybe from the cold or drowningor root rot leaves look like root damage
Okay so harvested my flowering plant. Only took like 30 minutes to do this XD damn that’s was like no trimming lol. Best ever harvest trim wise, yeild wise decent for her size. Mugs got some heft to them

The yellowing one looks like an iron def. Either bad pH or too much water are the most common reasons. It looks a little light in color all around so most likely underfed in this case.

Good (insert correct time of day) fellow 420 citizens.
So I went A bit super crop happy a couple days ago maybe Sunday? In order to try delaying the flowering phase a little more. I’ve read snapping stems (aka super cropping) causes the plant to release a repairing hormone which is pretty much a vegging hormone for more stems. Or something like that.
I pinched all the stems in this plant and cropped them over but she just bounced back lol, guess I wasn’t to aggressive but it’s all good.
I did the same to the bubblegum plant, to keep the canopy more level and give the lower branch time to reach the canopy before flower. And as I said above to hopefully delay flower, but idk it looks like it didn’t really phase her, might have to keep applying the super cropping method over time.
and then the male, I rolled a 1 and got a critical fail and split the stem up top here. Should add that it is the main one 4 nodes down from the top. This was done last update.and is still growing
Some balls starting to form also
Side note, I believe the male is suffering from light stress, and the yellowing leaves near the bottom are due to lack of light, and the yellowing tips are due to excess of light. As everything in between not to far and not to close are just fine just the extremes. Are suffering.
Side side note. I add removed leaves on top the soil. And I added a piece of a banana peel two days ago. Not a whole one more like a slice.
as to why I add stuff to the soil it has myco-diaarriah which is a fungus and fungus eat dead stuff. I should feed it a lil bit to sustain it. And not to fertilize my plant. Just enough to feed the fungi colony. So Ifelt some leaves from the plant and idk one morning a piece of banana peel cause I had afeeling banana peel was ten times better then some leaves as food for the fungi.
Triple side note. I have kept the water level pretty much the same for two weeks or longer now at the bottom of those bags. Seems to be working well so far. The male had some roots pop out of the hole at the bottom of the bag to where I ussually fill up to with nutrient solution. I would share a photo but I am at the 10 photo limit. Per post.
Remember to read. And keep growing.

Lol forgot that I was only partly done with the update. Haha.

still in early veg but i transplanted them from there cups to paper bags inside a plastic bag put into a coffee pot to support the flimsy paper bags from tearing when I move them aroundhopefully.
I was also thinking I could feel the side of the bag to determine when it is dry and needing to be watered.. so will see how it goes.
bag of promix Was last seen in illanois on the 23rd so asked for a replacement instead of a refund. Hopefully this one finds its way here.
And then to end the update (suspense theme sound)
I germinated some regular kuze seeds. There were three, all three sprouted. hopefully 1 or more are female.
The kuze is a sugar haze x Hindu Kush. Idk guy said it was good.
May the dank gods bless these seedlings with the gift of vigor and beauty...

So I’ve read you need at least 30 ppm colloidal silver to do it. So I got some 240 ppm I watered that down half and half with tap water so. Idk let’s see if it works shall we day two, of spraying.

I think Shed is doing a Giberrellic Acid(GA3) in place of the CS. Something to watch if you haven't yet.

I’ve gotta write up something good for The mr sauga level of growers out there to view. ( which is just basically anyone who I consider successful growers with the knowledge of why They grow such great buds with consistency.

It's a good feeling when you can give back to the community. Some folks give out recipes so it never really matters how you contribute since it's everyone helping everyone in some form or another.

Oh yeah, it sure is nice. Saw someone implement a hydro idea we were talking about a few months back. Looks to be working very well.
I was going to do that myself, but my air pump brokeXD. And I need more supplies.
So what I want to maybe try and do in the future after some planing and looking at some materials. Is to connect idk. 4 totes together (3 for plant and 1 for just ph and nutrients) so I don’t gotta work around plants to adjust The nutrient solution.
But idk I may just end up going the promix route for now. That may be a future project. Maybe.

And the three starter cups are the kuze seeds I put into cups yesterday.
I’m a lil scared for them to be honest. I gave them 1000 ec strength plant food XD

Hello all,
another Sunday update. I did more reading, mainly on some tilling terms, a Japanese guy that rediscovered clay seed balls, and made some stellar insights on natural farming and soil remediation. I just read his basic Wikipedia page very insightful I thought for those of you who would like more background on some soil remediation, and natural farming he is the dude right here Masanobu Fukuoka
so he basically won many awards throughout his life, For his work in agriculture.
I was also reading about some beneficial soil relationships with fungi and bacteria. And how they form relationships. Very interesting stuff there.
There was something called the four c’s
The call, which was the roots of a plant sending out some chemical stimuli or something to attract some beneficial microbes.
And the microbes also doing the same. As they can not flourish in life without each other I guess. 2 contact, 3 connection in which they begin to merge, and 4 completion.
Can find the info at the promix training center under myco-
Some help roots by making super fine fungi highways getting the hard to reach stuff the bigger plant roots can’t access due to there size.
In exchange the plant gives them sugars for these extra nutrients.
appeareantly the first plants on land lacked roots so these microbes acted as roots for the first plants or something that is why almost all plants benefit from forming symbiotic relationships with microbes as that is the way it has always been appearantly.
Thus my sudden interest in myco.
Anyways I watered the 3 kuze seedlings yesterday with 500 something ec strength nute water.

also super cropped the other two plants was it Friday my last update? cropping the gsc again to
the blue dream is a lil to tiny for a second one me thinks.
So I was checking out my ph and ec of my sitting nutrient water. For my soil containers.
So I lowered it with two ml of ph down to

So will see how plants like it. As I believe the last time I ph downed to these levels as well.

Ph of sitting water in soil. If you recal my last post I ph downed to 5.9
here is the ec.
So I decided brewing up some recharge. Idk the exact measurements but 14 of these plastic nutrient cups to 1 teaspoon of bio powder.made this dark coffee looking tea.
I should add that it crazily rose the ph to the upper sevens. So I ph downed it to this before watering all my plants with it. Ec was 1200
the ec and ph of water in soil after adding 5 cups of bio tea each plant. So I added a ml and a half of ph down and brought it back down to 5.9
as you can see the root is still growing. And I think I might have stumbled upon my new way of watering plants. Hope they continue growing as they do now..
Banana a turning blackXD some white fuzzies in the ground. On the dead steams. Bug infestation Occurring. Going to start looking into mosquito dunks. Either thripes or gnats, haven’t gotten to good of a look yet. But it looked like they were munching on the peel. So. Idk. I don’t do bugs.
so a photo to show the crazy size comparison between the two females and the 1 male.
And then the lil ones makes 10 photos.The GSC GirScoutCookies, and BD Blue dream. Both got 1 full cup each of the bio tea. And the three kuze seedlings shared 1 cup diluted halfway with tap water of the tea. The taller one is GSC and the shorter the BD.
I am still on the fence for potting the c99 or not. And I dk. I think I need to do something about the male. It’s taking up a lot of space. But it is good for now. If anything I can just move him by a window when the females need the light. As I just need a bit of his pollen. It is nice watching him though. So tall and strong looking. I can’t help but day dream of the female version of himXD and his offspring

Nice update Scotty. Are you just measuring the runoff pH or doing a slurry test? I have a feeling you may get different results if you are.
