Scott's First Journal

I've encountered root issues in the past and used a product called Z7 which is very similar to Hydroguard. It worked great to repair the root problem.
Thanks Scrog, @Azimuth and @HappyHazmat88 , I will check them both out. Too late to repair the damage of root rot by the time it is delivered but I would rather be prepared for my next grow starting tomorrow. Nothing wrong with promoting a healthy root growth.

Good morning Scott and azimuth hope your both having a good morning... She does seem to be standing a little more up straight this morning but May I ask why the dome?

The soil drops drops a little in temperature during the evening when light out so I also use the dome to protect the plant while I ratiate warmth just to the pot. In Montreal, our house temp is about 72F, I try to keep my grow space around 80 but it drops a few degrees and want to dry the soil ASAP.
Most importantly, I learned a valuable lesson and will never depend on the soil meter again. I had just bought it recently.

I can get 1 qt. of Hydrogaurd for $80 (3 left) a,d 1 gallon for $70 ( 3 left). Problem is, only lasts 6 months.

Ok for the hydro guard it should not be that much lol if you decide to do it go to zon and get 1qt for 30$.....you made me spit my coffee when ya said $80 a qt  . But in the 6 months needed to use it you can grow quite a few plants in that time.... especially autos... So I have it on hand in case of "emergency" lol but I have added it to all mine before they got the first feed....no complaints all seems good.

And by chance do you have a warm air humidifier? That could solve the low temp/dry issue...it's why I have a cool air and a hot air to help adjust everything

For $30, I would nab it.

Only a cool air for now. I need to re-equip for my soon to be flowering room downstairs with a humidistat and superior space heater.

Is that Qt a concentrate? I know the Safer's soaps come in diluted and concentrated versions, so if you don't pay too close attention the prices can seem a bit whacked.

If diluted, too expensive. If concetrate , due to waste, too expensive. I will only be growing approx. 16 plants in the next 6 months.
I have insecticidal soap. What type of soap is safers?

It's a concentrate....well mine is. May be to pricey to try but I took the leap and wasn't disappointed. And now I have it on hand just incase.

Thanks, friend. Couldn't find it on Amazon. Is it sold by one of our sponsors?

I wouldn't mind paying $30 per 6 months...... yet I find $80 a tad dear. Will check out scrog's aforementioned Z7.

I may not be the brightest star in the sky, but that was my first try (broken link?) Then I tried copy paste and got the 404. Sucks that you made the effort and it didn't come through I my side.
Trust me, my cursor never hovered to give me a link. Even as I scroll up to previous conversations, the link seems to have vanished.
Again, much appreciated.

C'mon, get creative. E-transfer somebody in the states who will order it and mail it to you. Thats how I've got it to Alberta for years, without any issues.
Good idea. I just got $1400 Taylor Made Club set for $98 US. Will get them next summer when he visits. Z7 it is then. Thanks, man.
