Scoooter's Green Crack DWC LED First Grow - 2017

Day 35
Not a lot to report. Environment is good. They drank 1/2 gallon. RH in tent is 69% but outside it's 50% so if I need to I can pump a lot more air into the tent with the lower humidity when the time comes.

I added my second light, King Plus 1500w, since They are pushed into their final spots now. Lights are at 24" so going by their charts that should be about 850 par in the center 2'x2' and 560 on the edges. Power draw is 530w - around 33w per sq. ft. Will watch for burn.

Day 36
Grew an inch since yesterday. Nice!

So.. If someone could suggest the best way to place my screens tomorrow. Each pot has it's own. The plants are about 5" over the screen. They are so damn bushy it's hard to visualize the steps. Slowly lower and just try to get the tops through the screen where they currently are? Then look at moving them around the screen?

Here's the current pic and a pic of the screen test I did a week ago when I built them to show you what I am dealing with. Any advice would be great! Thanks

Dude, they are growing like crazy now. Gotta love the growth in DWC! Looking nice and healthy too with those leaves worshipping the light .

With my Red Cherry Berry ScrOG I'm currently doing I placed it just above the plant, then stuck my arm under it to one side and bent the whole plant right over. From there I slid the ScrOG as low as I dared before I thought I was going to break the main stem. Then just slowly and carefully pull the branches out and weave to acheive maximum spread coverage. Tried to spread the large branches evenly so that they have equal chance to fill out. Also supercropped a couple big branches (one main top and a big side branch) back over onto themselves at nearly 180° to get the right into the center for maximum light. Hope that helps for what its worth.

Thanks GM. I already did it before you posted lol. I tied down the branches to the outside edges and then released and tucked. Good idea on the supercropping. I may need to do that for the center. Two of them are just below the screen mostly but I figured I'd do all 4. They are so bushy I have to go searching for tops and branches. I think I did pretty good. Will see how they respond and veg out for the week. Huge friggin leaves to tuck down though! I added a fan underneath as well and did a very little bit of trimming on the bottom of crap leaves but will wait until into the flip to really clear out. I am not sure what will and won't grow up through so I'm being cautious.

I see from your grow the Green Crack didn't stretch for you much at all? Mine were at 13" before placing my screen at 8". Seems all the CKS GC grow this way. Good if you have height issues but a little frustrating if not.

Haha you inspired me to ask the missus for a time lapse camera for xmas this year. Was really cool to watch and I'd love to be able to keep a little time lapse record of my grows .
