I'm not sure if those real real expensive ones make so much of a difference then the mid range ones to justify the price. I could be wrong ofcourse but it's hard to say since not many ppl on here are running the kind or calis. Their price point is too high above the rest for the average person to be willing to "experiment" or just to satisfy ones curiosity.if mine yields amazing results then I guess I can compare to someone else who has a mars or vipar or whatever but that's a few months away still.

Well I started making my scrog screens and ran out of pvc lol. There's a pic below with the 3 I got done. It was just a test fit. Got about a foot more growth before I put them in. The screen is high enough to put my dehumidifier under it so I ran a test and with the AC got the tent at a steady 45% and 73F. Nice! It's off now and the Temp is 73F and 66%RH.

Prepped my water for tomorrow's change. PH'd to 5.6 then threw an airstone in one of the buckets. Two hours later PH 6.7. I knocked it back down and put the stone in another bucket. Crossing fingers this little trick works to stabilize PH before a change.

Leaves have shiny spots from the neem. Wasn't expecting that butI got over it lol.

Having a blast by the way! So much fun. I am not journaling the auto's grow much but they are coming along.

Went with 4 singles for now in case I run into issues. Should be fine. I'll attach the lids to the screen with eyehooks and wire so they are one unit.

Best thing about those scrog nets, when ya too old to get about the tent you can use one as a walking frame lol

Day 30
Water change and cleaning. Grew about an inch since yesterday so that's great. Numbers all look good. Fighting a record breaking heat wave and 100% humidity (68% in room) here so I am glad they are in veg. Should break on Wednesday and back to fall weather.
My auto's are starting to stretch and I even see the first hint of buds. Woo!

Quick update:
Still in a heat wave for 2 more days here. My room usually sits at 69F and is up to 75F so I've had to crank the AC's on to stay below 80F in the grow rooms. Had to ice my buckets too. Will be glad when this is over! Little heat stress on the auto's but they should be ok.

All the girls drank some and the PPM dropped by 100 so that's good. One of my auto's grew a bud site up 4" in one day. LOL . The stretch is on I guess!

Scooter, did you start from seed or clone? If it was a seed, where from? My seeds of fem Green Crack came from triple T or something from a guy on Facebook.
Yours seem to be still acting and look just like mine. My other 6 gorilla glues down there are better too. Im having to think about the same thing you are. Got my flood tray in for the bottom.

Mine are Crop king seeds. Yeah they look exactly the same! Bushy little fuckers lol. I'm hoping 1 more week in veg the I can place screens then another week for filling then flip.
 
Day 32
Girls drank about 1/2 gallon each. PPM went down as well so topped off. Big root balls in them all just wish they would grow vertically some! There's a pic of how thick the branches are getting. Gonna be a rough scrog if this keeps up. Maybe I should raise the light? Would they stretch any faster?

So I took 2 of the little tops, used some clone powder, shoved them carelessly into a tiny pot of coco, put in the autos room and threw some water on them when watering the others. Couple days ago they burst to life and roots were coming out the bottom. Just replanted into bit bigger pots. Not sure what I am going to do with them yet lol. Maybe just veg for 6-7 weeks and see what happens. Any suggestions?

Fun is the word of the day for this hobby Scoooter for fun it is. And you are doing an awesome job on your ladies. Dude whatever you are doing keep it up for the growth is most noticeable. Two green thumbs up!
 
Honestly I wouldn't worry about raising your light to get them to stretch. They grow quick in DWC there's no real need to. If you want more stretch you could go 12/12 . They aren't much off the size mine was when I put it into flower. 1 or 2 more weeks and they will be bigger. I reckon you'll have a full ScrOG in the next couple weeks.

Congrats on the clones! Its a great feeling when they root.

All you plants look top notch dude. Super healthy, good work!
 
Day 33
Just a quick update:
Heat wave breaks tonight! Finally! Would cost me a fortune to run AC in two spaces 24/7. Today was 88F and tomorrow high is 55F Nice. :)
All drank about a half gallon. PPM dropped from 600 to 475 so they are drinking and sucking up nutes too. Very tiny burn marks on the tips of one of the plants. All the numbers look ok so maybe happened when the temps shot up. Not real worried. Just won't place in a beauty contest. Maybe Miss Congeniality lol.

Other than spending time on mixing nutes and training my auto's it's pretty chill.

Day 34
Hey this was fun...
I topped off all 4 res and then noticed when I put the top back on the bucket I used my PH'd/CalMAg COCO water. Ha! I looked at the labeled lid and said, "Aww! C'mon man" . Full water change for them all! LOL

Good news is the heat wave broke! I was able to pump in cold air to the area and dropped the temps by 15F in a half hour. Back to normal operations.

2 girls are at 12" over the lid now which is 4" higher than my scrog so looks like Sunday I can set it up! As you all remind me... patience noob grower. :)

Good job scooter. I just turned on my QB Light and have them hosed up for nutes and set the scrog yesterday. I also supercropped too. I didn't want to because they were so short I never super cropped when the girls were the short before. I know you can do it in flower and I have before but I didn't want to do that this time. And I know the difference is huge I seen it for myself on the branches that were.
