About you having v2? Probably not. He's trying to get back in the groove of things here and has a lot of catching up to do. Won't be long before hay season again and that's how we lost him last time ;)

That can only be mr.Wick....haha
Figured he had enough rolling round in the hay.

Day 28 Update

Hey everybody!

Finally got around to doing some updates. Things are looking good, although a little slower than I would have liked. I might have a week left before the Bomb turns on the pistils but there is a good quad form happening so it will produce some good colas.
OK lets get on with it because I'm tired and need my beauty sleep, which is calculated in weeks not hours.

Let's get the THC Bomb in the spotlight again. I mentioned I removed the fans earlier than I would have liked to on this plant. Since then the growth has been slow. Although today I have seen some rebound and I think she's starting to get her bearings again.
The first pic shows the top view of the quad where the ticklers are on the first node coming out of node three and four.

Now they have been moved to node two. We keep moving them out as the nodes grow outward.

Finally, after the training, you can see the plant is opened up slightly from the center out. We'll be taking those fan leaves off that are pointing inward towards the center in a few days. There's also some nodes that I haven't shown yet that are just starting to grow under the branch. These never make it to the canopy and will also be cut off.

Next up is the GG in FFOF that is part of the twinline experiment. It's doing much better now and the first pic shows her not having any training.

The next pic has the ticklers attached to the newly inserted pegs, pulling back the nodes. Keep in mind that this is an experiment, and it didn't get pruned the way I'm trying to remember. I've spent many seconds trying to figure it out and I think I know what's missing. More on that later.

The GG in MGOS has really started to grow. It's day 14 and I was concerned around day 7 that she may not make the six nodes I'm looking for. I'm confident she will now.

Last but not least, the reason behind the empty pot pic posted earlier this week. We pulled the THC Bomb to make room for a new Bomb. Today she poked her head out and is ready to take on the experiment her relative lost her life to. This time we'll be taking the new growth off node four, and all the growth off below node three. This will leave me 2 nodes, number three and four. Node three will have new growth and node four will sport two fan leaves.
I'll leave it at that for now and will explain more in a few weeks.

:Rasta:

Lovely update brother smooth and concise/precise darn good...haha
what are you up too with the new baby I wonder cause you got my curiosity aroused not saying much bout it.....

My black cream auto is just pulling out of an overwatering thing I had going, 20 days old and I want to quad it I think you guys mention 20-25 days or I might have missed that window she's just hitting her 5th node......

Good day Smeegs! Thanks for answering the call!

I'm always trying to get five nodes on autos, six on photos, before topping. Typically if the auto starts off good you can get that by day 21. Word is you want to top autos between 14-21 days because flowering can occur anytime after that.
Having said that, many breeders say there plants flower after 8 weeks, much longer than 21 days.
So if you see no pistils, and you are within 21 days then you're good to go. Even if you don't see pistils and you have the fifth node, there's no harm waiting another day or two. The more growth you can get off the fifth node the better.

My little one is going to be trained the same way as the GG's are. The only quad I have going is the THC Bomb in FFOF. The young'en is also a THC Bomb and I know it will do a lot better not getting quadded.

Have a blessed good weekend Mr. Smeegs!

Hey MrSausage! I'm back on the catch-up train. It's been a great journal so far. I was curious as to where you got that air-rifle? Happy days buddy :thumb:
All you need to do is head on over to the Daisy website and you can buy it there. I waited hours online for a cash register to open but finally realized the Buy button was a lot quicker.

Thanks for stopping by Professor, and I hope you have a great weekend with the family!

I'm growing in FFOF as well. Dropping in late but subbing in.
Hiya Sly!
Welcome to my little part of the world! It's my third grow in FFOF so if you have any questions feel free to shout out. Lots of good members here that will also chime in when I'm wrong.

Enjoy your weekend!

On a break at the moment, it's just me and the Dieselicious! Though having a newborn around is making it a challenge to stay awake even with some heavy sativa smoke

I might have to go on a course to get one of those in the UK. I'll stick to the old method of painting a fake front door on my house at night like in the Looney Tunes! Those pesky robbers will knock themselves out before realising it's a brick wall they're trying to break down! Or I could just put up the trusty typhoids sign. That keeps the literate away. Hope you're doing well mr S :)

It's a day course here in Canada. I'm still being supervised by an adult only because I almost shot my eye out. Your idea is safer, and one I may consider using. It would confuse me more I would think.

Life is great Professor, thanks! :)

Hi Sauga. I've been binge watching Heartland in a feeble attempt to understand Canadians. They haven't said eh once, much less hoser. I'm beginning to wonder about its authenticity.
