Day 38 Update
Hey everybody!
Well the weekend is winding down and back to regular life of earning money for a living. Today two girls were fed, the THC Bomb and the GG, both in FFOF. They received 6.3g of MC and .63g of Kelp Extract. The THC Bomb wont be getting anymore KE as she's starting to flower.

EC - 1314
pH - 6.4
H2O temp - 64.9
Today was just a defol on the GG and some training. One side of her is growing a little faster but the training should take care of that.
I removed the four big fan leaves where the new growth was coming out, indicated by the yellow arrows, and then pulled back the new growth to the sides, indicated by the white arrows.
The result is obvious in this pic. The center is open and light is getting to the new nodes. There are two new fan leaves starting to point inwards and blocking the new growth from light. I left those on for now to get a little bigger. Defol is done in small amounts on these autos this time round.

except for the quad, the other three are forms of a twin, but the real twin type is this one here. It still has the fourth node growing until it responds to it's initial topping. That fourth node will be coming off soon.

This is my Quarter Pounder auto X Gorilla Glue auto cross I made this past winter. Same one from way back in this thread. Been flowering now for about 10 days or so. Not expecting it to get much bigger in just a 2 liter bottle.

Hey @Preston9mm ... is it best to wait before buying at Seedsman? Closer to 4/20? I know their promos start now but your past experience.. does it get better?
I definitely wouldn't wait to buy at Seedsman's 420 sale. The prices will stay the same, but the choices and options shrink as the promotion goes on. Meaning they sell out of stuff and don't replace it with something else.
I think you're in the window now... Basically buy one-get one right now if you buy from all the breeders who are running promos. Pretty sure they have all started their 420 promos for this year.

I dunno, I checked the economy signed for shipping and also the insurance for an extra 9.00, but it only showed being charged for the economy at 12.00. Does that make sense or do you see both on the invoice?
Really cumbersome trying to check out. Doesn't help the site is overwhelmed and slow right now.
I don't generally pay for any upgraded shipping. I just get the standard "stealth" shipped package.
Been awhile since I ordered tho... might have changed.

There wasn't really an upgrade. The choices were Economy, not tracked, for 8 bux or similar, then they had economy tracked, for 12.00.
Then underneath all that there was insurance for 9.00. If you didn't buy it then they would not resend your order if it got lost.
So I checked the box but it never displayed the new total. It may not be an option for Canada so they just remove it at checkout.
What did you get!?!

Promised the wife I would hold off.
It doesn't help that I've got hundreds of seeds in the stash. She doesn't really understand that I always "need" more. Regardless of what's currently in the inventory.

Sorry for the lack of updates. I had to have some patience, and the best way to do that was to hold off on updates. Sometimes I feel I have to do something to the plants so I can make an update happen, and of course the girls could care less about this journal and just want to be left alone.
So let's get going shall we?
The THC Bomb in FFOF is well into flower now, whereas the GG in the same mix has not started. I think it all stems back from stressing the plant. Too much stress and she's forced to flower.
The canopy is nice and even and all her bud sites look spindly. Hopefully she'll beef up before harvest.
Next up is the GG in FFOF, who has had some select defol done to her. You can see how the center is opening up nicely now. This should give plenty of light to the lower growth on the colas when it's time.
Notice how strong and healthy she's looking. Each day she gets trained a little more. The yellow arrows show the nodes being pulled out now. This is done on both sides of the plant. Those same nodes had their first set of fan leaves removed to keep the center open.
The other GG, in MGOS, is 28 days above soil and had her fourth node removed two days ago. She has responded well and will rest before getting the same defol and training as her sister in a few days.
Lastly we have the THC Bomb in MGOS. Now on day 14 she is progressing well. I'm guessing she will have 6 nodes before topping.

Summary
So, looking at the group shot, you can see the Bomb quad in the back right has a nice even canopy, but it's not all that beefy. The branches should have been a lot thicker by now and as long as she puts out some quality bud I'll be happy.
I'll be taking the LED's out over the weekend. If you look at the one pic of the quad closely you'll see some leaf damage in select areas. I don't think it's pests. There's enough damage that I would think I would see some sort of bug. I leaning towards a Ca def or a light issue. It's 2000W, so almost 900w from the wall, and it may be too much for them. I'm at 40" right now and there's no stretch at all with the plants, so theoretically the lights make sense to me.
I'll put in the trusty old 600W HID that never lets me down and watch for improvement.
