Thanks Stoner!Looking great
Great to hear about the box holding up. And you're probably right, as the first GG was real slow too. She's growing upwards slowly, but the leaves seem to be holding back a bit. I'm guessing that strains genetics are taking the roots longer to establish. Not at all,and we had rain 2 weeks straight at the end of February

All this talk about the bigger the pot the bigger the plant seems to be a myth too
I don't do a lot of researching on strains, but I do keep a spreadsheet on the info I need. I look for high THC content in pretty much anything. These were free seeds from a contest win last year, along with the GG's from Auto Seeds. It's a shame I lost two GG's that just died when sprouting. This third one looks like it's taking now.Things are looking great Sauga. Do you know much about the thc bomb strain?

Excellent update Sauga. What's your opinion the THC Bombs so far? I've always wanted to give Bombs Seeds ago but never got around to it. I wanted to grow a decent cash cropper strain and the THC Bomb pict my interestDay 18 Update
Hey everybody!
So today, 3 of 4 plants got 4L of water. In that mix was the following:
Megacrop: 5.0g
Kelp Extract: .42g
pH: 6.3
N Load: 107ppm
Mix PPM: 820
H2O Temp: 65.8F
Today is pic day, as nothing really interesting has happened. The stems are trying to lean on two plants so I have a couple of french ticklers keeping them straight until they can do it on their own.

Summary:
I decided not to go with the HID this time around. They will be under 2 x 1000W LED's from here on in.
Lights at now at 36", raised from 30". All the plants are looking healthy right now, although I might be seeing some signs ofheatlight stress, so I'm keeping a close eye on that.
They took off right away. The biggest one in FFOF showed stretch as soon as she popped. I had to drop the lights down to 30". The other one came out a day later, and the lights were at the right height, so it's a node behind.Excellent update Sauga. What's your opinion the THC Bombs so far? Can be left in water up to 3 days I almost always get a taproot on good seeds on no tap root seeds after 3rd day tried paper towel but no success. Will try again! So, here's my first update.
Seeds were set in distilled water at 915pm on 2/22/19. They soaked about 16 hours then took the plunge to the bottom of the cup.
Once they sat on the bottom for a bit, the water was drained onto paper towels and the seeds placed gently on top. The towels were folded twice and placed inside a sealed bag. The sealed bag was then put inside my audio cabinet for warmth and darkness.
Some people suggest to place the bag over the tv box or other electronic device that generates heat. I personally do not like this method as there is a risk that water could seep through the bag onto the electronics, creating a short or fire. The other reason is the vents on those units are there for a reason. If you block heat from coming out you're not helping your equipment. Seedling mats are ideal, but a warm audio cabinet works great.
That is all.
Your idea of a French tickler is vastly different from mine. Oooh la la.french ticklers
Then you cut her gently outta that plastic and up her to a 7 gal fabric pot with FF Oceans Forrest and hang on!I'm pretty confident that our two plants will reach a point where they're about the same size. And then mine in a 2 liter bottle quits growing and yours in a much larger pot will blow mine away.
Ya thanks Beez! She started slow, but now I think it's strain related. Slow to get the roots established but looks like she's grounded now. If I look at GG in MG then she's about the same out of the gate. You're Gorilla Glue in the FFOF is looking really strong!!

Are you noticing any growth or response differences between these With the feedings? You're Gorilla Glue in the FFOF is looking really strong!!
I've been following along with this grow. I planted two of the seeds I bred.....Canuk Quarter Pounder auto X Fastbuds Gorilla Glue. One of them (plant #1) I have been feeding with the nutrient level I have always used in the past with autos and that is currently receiving 1/3 strength nutrients. I'm mixing 2.25 grams / gallon for that plant. Plant #2 has been receiving 5.5 grams of Mega Crop / gallon for her last three feedings.
I had been taught not to exceed 50% strength when feeding my autos in the past. For learning purposes plant #1 will be fed a maximum nutrient mix of 50% for her whole grow. Plant #2 will go from 5.5 grams up to 6.5 grams probably in about 10 days and should remain at 6.5 grams for the rest of her grow.
