Sauga's Got Cement Shoes & A Chem Dog

Slow start but good to see some movement!
Interesting... I thought they were moving along quite fast. Third node starting in just over a week. Compared to my other grows I thought I was ahead of the game this time.

I meant generally with all the seeds falling and dying. Fast start doesn't seem to describe the grow so far.
Ohhhhh... you had me worried for a minute. To think I was lying to the girls while I was talking to them to day, saying how big and beautiful they wuz gettin'.

I'm going back to my old ways with the paper towel method. I strayed away from that and have not had a good germ rate lately. I was hitting 100% before on a small sample rate, but still, 100%.

Day 12 Update

Hey everybody!

OK, the Cement Shoes and CG #4 are doing really well. I'll be putting them in their final pot tomorrow of 5gal. After that they'll be on an 18-6 schedule under the LED's.
The newest girl, the Gorilla Cookies, is on day 5. I'll keep her out during the day and under the LED's during the night. I'm hoping to catch her growth up with the other two by running 24 hour schedule.
The second seed of the White Tahoe Cookies has emerged. But she may be a dud. Hard to see right now but I don't think she has center growth. If it doesn't work out I'll just run three since the heights will be too hard to deal with.

Plants are looking very happy and healthy Mr.S.
I personally really like the paper towel method almost 100% germ rate. I tried using peat pellets before it didn't go so well couple of them died without even coming out of the pellet.

Thanks N420,
the pellets are new to me. I'm not so sure it was pellet related or just going straight from water to the pellet. Normally I let them go 12-14 hours in water, them submerge them. From there they would go to towel to grow the tap longer. Normally by the next day the tap is big enough for a good start. The next one started fine, from the paper towel. But I'm not sure if she'll make it. I do see some new growth but too early to tell.

I was bored today so I decided to uppot the CD #4 and the Cement Shoes. The pics are from the CD #4. I also adjusted the color of the deck for the first pic ;)
This is from a method I think many growers here use, and it works great.

If you want, add Mykos to the walls of the dugout. Keep the soil moist so the Mykos sticks to the walls. I didn't use it this time, or the last time. I never used it before but I thought it was worth mentioning.

Are you expecting the soil to settle a lot or do you have all day to water like Emilya?
That soil has been pre soaked with about ten liters of water over the last two days. It was dry so it took a lot of slow pouring.
Yes I always water like Emilya. Start from the outside then the inside. It's a slow process but my plants tend to turn yellow faster if I rush through it. Too fast and the runoff happens too quick. The soil needs the time to get wet after a long dry run, and if I go fast I lose about two liters she could have had if I did it right. IMHO of course.

EDIT: I'll prpobably get 1/2" of settlement over the next month.
