Sauga's First WW Indoor Grow, LED Style

Your quadlines look just as good as mine did brother! They are beautiful now but just wait till all those even tops are chunky as can be! I can’t wait!!!
I suppose looking at your own plants is like listening to your own voice. It's just not the same. I could have kept under the canopy less leafy, and that had to do I guess with not taking enough unders off earlier.
Thanks Magoo.

Quick update and pics on the quads. The digital ballast for the 600W HPS started to buzz today. It's on the way out. Which is perfect because the warranty expired less than a month ago. I'll contact them and see if they will replace it but from some reviews I have read these ballasts go quite often. So, I ordered a new brand which has a 3 year warranty, which is fine except after a year I would have to pay for shipping to have it replaced. I suppose it's still cheaper in the long run if I do need to replace it.
I put the LED's on tonight just in case the HPS quit half way through my sleep. It's good having a backup already installed as it's really simple to turn a power switch on and off. Too bad I didn't plan it that way but sometimes we get lucky.

Interesting day today. I came home to see my driveway blocked with the local gas company and a truck that blasts dirt and sucks it up. Of course the first thing I'm thinking about is the girls in the back where the gas meter is, not the fact the house is about to blow up. They have to pass the two plants to get to the meter although it's not like they would trip over them. I dunno if they seen them or not but even if they did see the two plants they didn't seem the type to go and make my life miserable.
So apparently the leak was detected through routine checks due to construction in the area and some underground connections were cracking, mine and several others. Holes were dug, pipes were fixed, and a guy had to come and test for leaks and restart the pilots. Normally I would do this myself but they had the gas locked off until this guy showed up.
So he gets everything tested and needs to test the furnace and light the water tank pilot, which is right down the stairs where my tent is with the two quads. Fortunately, for those who recall, the tent is in a roughed in third bathroom which has a door and vents to the garage. It worked like a charm. Chalk one up for Sauga for good stealth work indoors. My outdoor stealth needs improving btw.
So more guys come tomorrow to back fill the hole and that should be that, or at least I thought. The regulator on the meter is within 3 feet of one of my windows. Code says that's a no-no so they have to come back another time to replace the regulator for a different style. I need to call that in so I may wait til after harvest.

OK onto the quick update on the quads. They like me, I like them, it's a good relationship. All in all they are doing fine I do believe. Both drank 5L of MegaCrop mix so they have a good wet/dry cycle going right now and are reacting well to the nutes.

Looking good MS. Glad the workers are looking to fix the pipes and not your life. Keep it stealth.
Thanks Derby...ya I'm going to move them to a better location for the next few business days. Things should be good after that.

Good morning all,
decided to stay home today as I'm a little under the weather, and the fact the boys will be back today to back fill the hole from yesterday and I don't need any surprises.

Hey brother! Things are looking great in the WW tent! And good job on stealth mission! Keep yourself safe until oct17! Haha
Thank you Dutch, I won't worry too much about stealth after the 17th. Cannabis should be proudly displayed in it's beauty when growing...the trick is to make sure someone doesn't steal your precious ones while doing so.
Hopefully if it's legal the temptation to steal wont be there, however I kind of relate it to Halloween where kids have their candy stolen by older kids. If they touch my candy I'm not going to be happy.

Looking good MrS! I'm 3 weeks behind you and can't believe how excited I am about a plant lol.
What size pots are you in?
It's amazing how the excitement builds. Watching these buds start to take shape is amazing. I sure hope the thrill doesn't wear off as the more you grow and learn.
I'm in 7gal pots, which although will help my yield if I take care of them correctly, I find them too big for the tent when I had four plants in there. Even just two and I find it's too wide. If you quad your plants you take them to the outside of the pot then let them grow up. I find it takes them too far outside my hood and less light to penetrate. Albeit it's not that bad, but more centering around the hood would be better in 5gals I believe.
Once I get better at scrog, which you can see I'm not really utilizing because I didn't really understand it, would allow me to open things up and go back to 7gals.

How's Mity girl doing?
Quite well. She looks like a freak but budding right along. I have not treated her in a week or so. Never gets worse, and doesn't get better. It's the same pattern repeating itself. New growth starts fine then turns off on a couple of arms with that nasty twist. But I think she's fine. I'll get some pics up today out the outside girls.
Thanks Wookie.

As promised, some pics of Mite'y' Girl and a couple of Emily, and a hole in the ground that hopefully gets filled soon. Starting to get some sugar on them thar leaves...sweet.

Looking good, Brother! :welldone:

What's that last pic with the A/C compressor & hose running under the steps showing? Did I miss something? :hmmmm:

Yes sir Mr. Krip, we had a bunch of gas leaks in the area. All had to do with a connection underground near the meter. They had to dig the hole with high pressure water. The yellow line is the new connection. The AC is hanging on the edge of the hole but lots of earth around it. The cast iron pipe is going to the storm sewers. Apparently mine had been leaking for years underground based on the color of the soil, which they describe as greyish.
It should have been back filled yesterday but I think they forgot about me! I had to scramble and hide the girls as there was a lot of commotion, fortunately no fuzz.

The real reason! Lol
Ya but I don't feel as guilty if I convince myself I'm sick. :)
They did come to fill up the hole today. I watched for them all day because where I have to place the girls is in the shade and I want them to get as much sun as possible. So at 4pm, on a Friday, I gave up watching and 15 minutes later they were in the backyard, unannounced. All the girls could do was wave in the breeze to the nice men, which I'm sure were 420 boys at one time.
I still have to hide them on Monday as they only back-filled with sand, and I need white rock on top of that.
Talk about raining on my parade.
