I need to put White Widow on the list of things I want to buy. I likely won't do a seed purchase for another 5 years but maybe I'll win something again and get it. Just swimming in seeds at the moment and I can't justify making another purchase as I've got probably 30 strains I've never even grown sitting in my seedbox.

I have to agree with you since I haven't done anything to them except some training and feeding. For a first grow all in all it's going OK. I think the problem people are having with WW's are the seedbank's and their breeder's. I can't tell you how many people have mentioned TMV with CKS's WW beans. I think, IMHO, their genetics are all over the place which is why people are seeing such freaky plants, like mine. I stressed out so much trying to save a plant that showed signs of something that could easily be diagnosed as mites and I'm finding out after not treating it for two weeks it's the same. My buds are still budding along nicely. No more CKS for me.

Thanks Ase...my next go around on the quads I think will be much tidier based on what I have seen and learned so far. It's a great way to grow in a tent, and probably outside as well for the stealth.
 
Hey guys, what can I expect to see happening with these WW's? What I mean is I just got out of the tent, and yesterday both plants were producing bright white pistils. The one plant is still doing that but the runt's pistils are turning a light tan color and shrinking, almost like they are getting too much heat. Is this the next stage and the flowers are turning or is this the start of a bad problem? The plant is extremely healthy looking other than some sites are turning as I mentioned.

How’s it hanging brother! Hope all is well and green ! I feel you on the CKS never again will I use their genetics! Absolutely all over the place and my WW1 in the beginning showed signs of TMV but grew out by week 2-3! But I’m moving onto better quality genetics from now on!

OK good, I thought it was OK but this late into the grow I don't need any surprises. Those ones I am talking about are getting a little dense when I squeeze them. I squeeze 'em cause my fingers smell so good after. Is that normal or do I have issues??? I don't mean plant issues, mental health issues for doing that.

Ya it's probably the reason they are no longer a sponsor here. Too many complaints I would think. Just my opinion though.
 
You're not the only one I've heard complain about cks. But I've also heard people praising them. lol. But definitely a lot of negative out there. More than I'd like to hear if I were thinking of making a purchase.

For the first time when I opened the tent I could smell a lot of humidity, musty. So I put another fan in there and cranked on the LED's which really dry the air. I don't know if anyone who has used both HPS/MH at one time and LED and notice the humidity doesn't go nearly as low with the HPS/MH?
I find it a really quick way to knock down the humidity. I would assume it's also climate specific, whereas a humid geographical zone may not make any difference at all.
Here's some pics..first of Mite'y Girl and the remaining three of the quads. The flowers on the one quad were turning brown and felt drier than the others yesterday but today seem better. I'm wondering if I'm waiting too long between waters? I'm dumping in 5L every three-four days right now.
Anyhow, I'm keeping my eye on it.

I've got a lot going on right now, my mothers wasn't doing well, but she's getting better now. Between lack of time and a bit of worry that it seems like every journal I follow the grower has troubles lol. I didn't want to curse myself :)
When these have about a month to go, I'm going to start some seeds and will start a journal then. I'll let you know when it's active!
I've learned a lot and enjoyed following yours, your 3 weeks in front of me, so i know whats coming.
