Sam's Fall & Winter Grow 2018

Looking like #perfection :) Go ahead and throw #quadsquad in your sig:D

Love it!!

I don't think that It's close to perfection but I will certainly take it. Not bad progress for 3 days. I do hope the amnesia starts to kick it in gear a bit.

I can't believe the wife didn't kill them. They do seem happier since I came home though... LOL

I will fix the Sig when I get a chance.

Minor update. I adjusted the ties and did some minor defol to open up some of the small nodes for light. They seem to be doing what they should be at this time. The amnesia (right front) is still lagging but getting better. She is living up to her to description of being a slow grower while the blue dream (back left) is going to be a beast of a plant.

Oh man that Raspberry Cough has my eye! I think it's my early favorite. Something about seeing those plants all X'd up evenly that is almost calming to see. Good to see they are back on track and growing steadily.

You had me at Sour Diesel

I just found your journal and got caught up. I'm glad you didn't scrap them, they look great!!

the watering schedule would get to some people

I started with coco and love it for not being able to over water. But the schedule did finally get to me and I've switched to dwc. Though I'm thinking about getting an autopot system for coco.

The Raspberry Cough is more viney and compliant that the others so she seemed really easy to train as the others would have been had they not gone as far along as they did. The camera angle is also making the Blue Dream and Sour D not seem as "x" ed out as they are. The 4th nodes are just not as far as the RC. They are much more woody but are getting with the program. I think this would have gone better had I been around to care for them durring that first and second week of veg. Live and learn for next time. I will try to get better shots next time I have them out.

I am starting to see the benefits of this method. When I went in hacking the first node was forgettable in size and development albeit I wasn't around to pull them out and top when i should have. The second nodes seemed OK but after topping and tying the 3rd and 4th back they really beefed up. The plants should be a little more self supportive late in flower from what I am seeing.

So far as a first for this type of growing I am pretty pleased with what I am seeing.

Yeah I am glad I didn't deep six them but wished I would have been home to drop another amnesia or at least take better care of her. Her shell got stuck when she came up and I fixed that before going away but the wife was careless in the watering and was floating her all over the solo while she was trying to root so the main stem looks like the road up to Pikes Peak all crooked as well as her being stunted.

They all look good and I also know a thing or two about camera angles. Sometimes when I do a post I take 30 picturses and narrow it down to a couple and still aren’t quite happy with how it looks in the picture. The RC just looks special but I know that Blue Dream is gonna be a monster and the Sour D is right on pace with the RC.

Ah gotcha. I don't have the patients to take a ton of pictures. I guess I am a little lacking in that regard. I grow for me and my consumption so I don't put a lot of time into taking perfect pictures. I do like to document good ideas for others to maybe learn something from and am always open to trying something new if it makes sense to me. This quad lining training has a lot going for it if you are willing to put the time in up front in the grow. I know for me it's worth it because the time upfront is short compared to the time left sitting there after the stretch. To get a nice tight plant that is height controlled is worth it.

That Blue Dream is something else. I am a litle worried about her height down the road. I can tie it down in the morning and the tips of the branches are trying to reach skyward by evening again. It is the most vigorous plant I have grown to date.

Got here late but got here anyway, without running headlong into a drifting Ford! Not sure if you can do CBD oil with upper GI/PICC line thang but it's recommended for concussions. I started late for mine but I take 2 drops every morning for my post concussion symptoms 7 years later. I probably should be taking them 3x a day but I never remember. Check with your neurologist and see if they are up to date with that info.

I hope you're recovering well. Plants are looking great for the neglect and your wife did an excellent job setting them up for you :).

In for the #quadshow!

I am learning soooooo much. My thanks & I appreciate the ideas & knowledge.

Observations from a first timer so take them with a grain of salt but from what I've seen so far the Amnesia Haze is a slow grower. It also appears to be more Nitrogen sensitive than the other strains. A quarter of the lightest seedling concentration burned her tips. I flushed her with 3 gallons of water and it cleared right up. I've got a journal going with some pics, don't want to pollute your journal with my pics and links. It's called Octopus' Garden. Our setups are very similar, also. Dragging up a chair and popping some corn.

I have read similar info in the amnesia. Mine was a challenged plant to begin with and should have been pulled and restarted but that was not possible. Also when they were real young the wife was soaking her solo so it was floating around. Her main stalk is crooked as all get out.

Thanks for stopping by. I will head over and check out what you have growing on.

I know what you mean. When Calamity Jane got flattened I thought sure she was a goner. She's the fastest grower by far now, faster than her mother she was clipped from. Then there's the whole 'no pain, no gain' thing to consider. ;)
