That's what I used to build mine. The tote has a great little curtain already molded into the lid. It wasn't 100% leak free for me though. After several hours, some water was leaking near the handles. Luckily, that molded curtain made an easy place to hot glue another curtain to. Worked like a charm.



That's a good idea! Just reinforce the lid. I would think a support running across the short dimension would be strongest.

My tote has the pvc in the top....that's what the curtain is attached to.

Hey a sullution to that would be to put PVC pipes under the lid both sides of the hole(s) to suport the lip of the net pot you use is your doing aero/DWC in it ; p

I figured out that the plants can wait for me to go in the morning, so I can enjoy my family and laying next to my wife two nights in a row. Usually one night home and one night at the op.Gotta love the love a family can give when love is given to them. I grew up in a SUPER dysfunctional family and will never act that way. Like plants you gotta give em good stuff to get good stuff. If all you give the plants is a bunch of bad stuff, well you get my point.
So I am anxious to see the cuts progressing tomorrow will be day ten. I want to get some pics of the OG Kush Plants that were cuts in the beginning of this journal. They will be finishing up in the middle of next month (May 2013) so I will take the IPad and get a few pics and then find the first ones with amounts of time so ya'll can compare the days and give me some feedback. Good feedback bad feedback it's all good and how I learn so when the time comes whether its a new hole or a bunch of love, let me have it lol.
The wife ordered me something for the grow, wont tell me what it is but I feel like a little kid, can't wait.
I am not used to getting, I like giving.

On the conversion lid I'm making, it will have a rectangle with a brace across the middle, leaving two supported openings for the baskets....all pvc, screwed to the top with stainless screws.

i finally got the new tent up and new journal in my sig, you defo need the fam time we all do i was up late working into the night and missed my bedtime snuggle 3 nights in a row! thats my favorite part of every day

This is pic taken from my wife's ipad, with the 3G connect i have a small Internet connect and played with it until i figured out how to upload a pic. So the pic is of the OG Kush clones that have been vegin for approx 30 days, they had a couple of setbacks but are starting to zoom, also in the pic is the next set of cuts that were taken this morning after arriving here to see that two day ago i forgot to plug in the pump! Big Fing oops. Also these clones in the white grow bags are scheduled to begging flowering around tax day as my plants in the tent will be done, so mid to late June they will be done. The cuts in the aero cloner are scheduled to start flowering mid to late may and should finish mid to late July. Im trying my best to run the two flowering rooms on a 30 day stagger so i can harvest every 30 days. The power bill went from 197 to 258 from turning on the second room with its 1000 watt hps plus fans and small heater. Well see how long I can afford that? Want to add five more hids

Thanks BFAM, the single The Purps tonight had to be rushed out of the tent due to finding three male bananas, luckily tomorrow makes 8 weeks so even if it released and pollen I dought the others will seed up in 7 more days? Than again who knows, then it gets worse I lost the gate key and had to 4WD out of the ranch thru a small slot in the fence and got stuck twice, lol not really funny after a 14 hour work day I just wanted to get home and thank God I did.
back at it Saturday morning, I watered everything and think they can make it 30 hours

Thanks Jon, I'm wondering if the LDS is what "The Purps" didn't like? Between the naners and the fluffy air buds I'm not continuing with that strain. I have some seeds I wanna try for weight. WW x BB, Critical + and a Critical 47. Hopefully with them being single seeds at least one of em with be a thriver.
14 hour shift yesterday has me barely able to get out of bed. One day the construction will be finished and then just plant maintenance

So its 2330 hrs and have been at it since 0730. Found the single the purps that was isolated for showing its male flowers with even more and a nice amount of purple on the lower calyx s and then i noticed theres some seeds em them darn pods lol. With there only being two nanners im hoping the OG and raw D only got a micro amount. Purple OG FEms sound grand

So the test plants are at week 8 day two and there on h20 plus final phase 3/4 strength until the trichs tell me there ready. Two of the three were zero veg clones and the other three were mothers from seed that were heavily cloned before entering the tent. This first run is just a test to see whats what and to start a baseline to reference. Room 2 is a little over 5 weeks out and they got 30 days veg and will be a huge improvement

Thanks but there so far from the way i will get them, then again any completed harvest is one to celebrate. Im hoping their overweight sisters will be as healthy lol. 8 hours of sleep later and im still wiped out. I gotta get thru the construction phase and then it'll get easier to do the plant maintenance im sure. If i had 80 large i could get a 53 footer turn key delivered lol. nOT that could send a couple of my older kids to trade school and get em cars
