S.E.E.D.S a Journey

Why only 65 days?

I don't recall your strains or know the recommended flower period.

On my 70 day recommended Carmelicious, the girl harvested at 64 days has about 2/3 the head high and 1/4 the body relax and soothing of the girl harvested at 71 days.

I want to trust you know what you are doing, but last week of flower is no time to shorten grow.

It is a HUGE waste to harvest early. Here's hoping you harvest right on time!

The strains these came from are 8-10 week plants or 56 to 70 days however you want to look at it. 9 weeks is 63 days. I have never taken a plant beyond 10 weeks.

Hello :420: and friends :byebye:

Today finds at day 40 of the flower journey and day 17 of the Vegi journey.

Day 40 for the Flowering girls. Not much to report just trying to keep them clean and green. Branches are starting to sag and I have found it is about time to start lending some support.

Not much to report as I have not had any time to do any extra training or anything out of the ordinary this round. Have fun and as always enjoy the moment :rollit:

Complete craziness in the flower room per usual. Dyold, what became of the Acapulco Gold seeds you germed? Are they in the mix somewhere? I was really interested to see you run a sativa dom like that.

The Acapulco Gold is the second from last photo of the single plant shots on the cement floor. They are doing well and I super cropped one already.

"Not much to report" except for that room full of productive healthy cannabis in full flower approaching harvest :)

Dispensaries in states like Washington would love to purchase your whole grow!

We Donate not purchase my friend. Also the medicine I grow is for actual patients and not for recreational use. Not much money to be made but it makes me feel good and I love the smell of the room..aaaahhhhh.

Looks like there are a dozen or more strong POTM candidates on deck, too. Dyold is dialed in.

I like you PeeJay  You have good taste :icon_cool Thank you for the awesome compliment :passitleft:

Hello :420:

Today finds us in day 43 with some improvements in the room. I decided today was the day to get the new AC unit vented outside and permanently situated in the room. Seems to have cut down on the amount of heat the ac unit was producing with most of the vent pipe in another room being vented outdoors.

It is Day 20 already for the little girls and they seem to be enjoying the added 600 watt MH light and having the two 20k lumen t5 lights as supplemental lighting.

After having applied a super cropped bend to start, I have started to tie down one of the Acapulco Gold girls to start spreading her out and seeing what it will bring.

Greenest of Gardens to everyone. :morenutes: Have fun and enjoy the moment :rollit:

Still looking non to shabby :) :)
Things are ok with me buddy, just the usual life crap getting in the way of my growing, but hey ho, we plough onwards. I'm just annoyed lol. As I'm not sure I have any contest winners against your crop of monster budders! :)
If only I had your space, I'd be in heaven! :)

You have many many titles my friend and it is I who am chasing you not the other way around  My heart goes out to You as I to have experienced the loss of a very dear friend within the last couple of months and I know your sorrow. Best of Everything your way and remember Life goes on for the Living...:rollit:

Tried posting this in Grower Forums and it just seems to get buried. I never hear anyone talk about this subject.

I don't often run across overly well written articles these days concerning Water. I mean its there and you use it. Some people use ROW = Regular Old Water and some people use RO Water = Reverse Osmosis Water while other use rain water along with captured water from flood tables and dehumidifiers, AC etc..

Reverse Osmosis would be my last choice just because it is so wasteful and is really not good for human and animal consumption ( this is my personal opinion mind you ) as it has most of not all of the beneficial minerals removed. I have also read articles in support of NOT using water softening of any kind for use in outdoor or indoor gardens.

I prefer to use ROW aka regular tap water to which I add a dechlorinator with a heavy metals remover like API. Similar products like API are extremely concentrated and will last for months if not years for some folks.

I have also learned that if your trying to get microbes to grow in your soil and your not using a water conditioner like API your just killing your bacteria. Chlorine kills everything. Including Humans.

Here is a very well written article on the benefits of this method.

Removing Chlorine and Chloramines from Water

Should be an interesting post after we get all the feedback in. I would appreciate verifiable, tried and tested feedback if that is possible.
