This Guy's 1st Grow: Afgani and Jack Herer

Awesome stuff glad I mate it here to see the bud porn. Lovely bud sites coming along. In the 4X4 tent I would say 5 plants max and thats think in a hydro setup. Five plants in soilt with some LST and you'll be rocking. Nice stuff keep it going my friend. Happy 4th Btw

I finally got around to installing my Can33 combo filter/fan. This thing is super heavy, but works awesome. I can now leave the tent door open and not smell a thing

I should put it up on the main board but I ordered one of the cheaper knock-off tents and crap hangers, went to walmart and go a car clothes hanger supports like 100lbs and fits PERFECT on the bars, holds my setup very nicely, was only like 20$ sooo worth it.

Here is an update with the seedling that went into flower 2 weeks from germination. It is flowering beautifully with 3 buds per internode.

nice grow this guy your plants look really healthy. How did you like the t5's for vegging? they looked like they did a good job. how many watts were you using? that 600watter is gonna give you some nice stacked buds i have been looking at leds 4 vegging but they are outta my price range glad i saw your grow. ill be following along too :rasta:

i wanna buy filter too, cuzz the smell is crazy! is your size carbon filter any help by the smell from the grow box??? 4real,how much reduces the cannabis smell??? (1-10) thanks!!!

Thanks Myzz617! Yeah, 5 plants is the most I'm going to do next time. The flowering tent is 5x5x6.5 so I'm not too worried about the height.

Thanks falcore. Yeah, they are much healthier now that I got the ph under control. They loved the t5! I was able to keep it inches from the tops, making each internode around 1" from each other; tight and short. Actually, at the moment, I'm not sure if I have too many plants under it. Or if the 3.5 gal pots are too small for them. As the buds just aren't as big as I think they should be. But, this is my first grow and I'm still learning.

Hey there 420hps, thanks! The carbon filter works great. When I would open the tent and the whole place would have that sweet stink. But after hooking that 45lb unit up.. I can leave the tent door and the room door open and not smell a thing. I can even stick my head in the tent and no smell either. The only way I can smell anything, is when I move the plants around. Other than that, nothing. It works great.

I had to add another vent at the bottom to allow more air in. It also has dropped the humidity level from 50% to 40%.
